My experience with NuSolas was very disappointing
My experience with NuSolas was extremely disappointing.
Despite two site inspections, the installation team was scheduled to arrive with 10 × 460W panels instead of the agreed 14–16 × 500W panels. It was only because I requested a call after sensing something was wrong that I discovered the system design had been changed without any consultation. This conversation took place on the Friday before the installation, which was due to go ahead on the Monday.
We had also agreed on two 8.3kWh batteries, which would have been appropriate for a 7–8kW solar system. However, with the revised 4.6kW system, the panels would not have been capable of effectively charging both batteries. It was only after I raised this issue that NuSolas agreed the second battery was unnecessary and could be removed from the order, yet they had still planned to install both batteries alongside the significantly smaller solar array.
After 12 weeks dealing with NuSolas, I now have to start the entire process again with another provider.
I appreciate that system designs can sometimes change following technical assessments (last site inspection was May 12th 2026. Disclosure of change in design was July 3rd and Solar install date was schedule for July 6th). What I cannot accept is that such a significant change was made without any consultation or approval, and that I only became aware of it because I kept asking questions. Had I not done so, it appears the issue would only have come to light when the installation team arrived.
Based on my experience, I cannot recommend NuSolas.
