I am so delighted to give 5 stars & recommend to others Solar Smart . We had a solar system installed recently & we are happy with all dealing with Solar Smart .Our survivor was Noel , he was very knowledgeable & so happy to explain everything which really helped us to select a plan . They have a great team & they were efficient from start to finish.

From the beginning these guys were super to deal with. They answered every question I had and got the entire installation completed in less than a day. The workmanship of both the roofers and the electricians was excellent and really tidy with no cleanup left for me whatsoever. They even found a cracked ridge tile and offered to replace it if I had a spare. These lads are sound.

SolarSmart were a delight to work with from the beginning of the process to the end, with tremendous support and back up at every stage of the process. We are delighted with the work and would recommend them to anyone thinking of getting solar.

Solar Smart and their team recently completed a solar installation of 20 panels at my home, and the entire experience from start to finish was outstanding.
From the initial consultation, Martina in sales was knowledgeable, transparent, and took the time to explain the system design, expected performance, and installation process clearly. Communication throughout the project was excellent — I always knew what to expect and when.
The installation itself was carried out by Denis (Roofing) & Aaron (Electrical) and their teams, efficiently and to a very high standard. The team arrived on time, worked neatly and professionally, and showed great attention to detail. Install was completed in one Day!.... They were respectful of the property and left everything spotless once the job was complete.
What really stood out was the professionalism and pride by the Solar Smart teams, clearly taken in their work. Any questions I had during or after the install were answered promptly and thoroughly, and I never felt rushed or oversold.

My initial discussion with SolarSmart was with Steve, who was clear and knowledgeable on the practical issues involved. On the installation date Arron and team arrived bang on time. We discussed where all the bits and pieces were to go, and they explained in detail the work that would be involved. That agreed, it was only necessary to keep out of their way as this expert and well practiced team went to work, with minimum intrusion on the household. Their wiring and kit placement is exceptionally high quality and looks very professional on the side of the house. When they finished they did a great job of clearing up, actually leaving the place cleaner than they found it. Best of all, everything worked immediately on turning on. I was amazed that it could all be so painless, I would have done it years ago if I'd known. Well done to Solar Smart, these people are a credit to the Company.

I would also like to thank the installers Conor, Sean K and Alex who did a great job, ran through everything they did and were happy to answer my many questions. They did a great job and cleaned everything up afterwards.

Darren was very pleasant and efficient. He spent quite a while trying to resolve my connectivity issue, and went to great trouble to get it sorted. In the end, it was resolved, to everyone's satisfaction. Darren left no stone unturned! Shout out to Richard also who helped to get the ball rolling.

Georgina was extremely thorough in guiding us to the best system for our needs, and what would at the end be the best value for money system for us. We cannot recommend her enough.

We had Conor, Sean K and Sean B doing a superb job on the electrics and Dennis and his team of roofers did an excellent and professional job.

We have been impressed by the quality of the system. We also have to say we had amazing post installation support in terms of setting up the system.

We recently had solar panels installed at our home, and I honestly couldn’t recommend this company highly enough.
From the very beginning, the experience was excellent. Eoghan Kavannah, the sales representative, was incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and easy to deal with. He took the time to clearly explain everything, presented us with different options and quotes, and really listened to what we needed. At no point did we feel pressured—just well-informed and supported in making the right decision.
On the day of installation, the team arrived early and got straight to work. They were an absolute pleasure to have around—friendly, respectful, and clearly very experienced. There was a great atmosphere among the crew, which made the whole process feel even more positive. They worked efficiently and completed the entire installation within a single day, which was very impressive.
What stood out most was their attention to detail and cleanliness. Everything was left spotless, and they made sure to walk us through the system afterwards, explaining how everything works in a clear and simple way.

Having SolarSmart advise on, design and install our solar system has been an excellent experience from the first phone call.

Steve was brilliant. We had an idea of what we wanted, but also a lot of questions. He sent us an initial suggested layout, and then called in to have a chat and look at our house. He was a mine of information and spot-on advice, and got a proposal for an updated system back to us the same day.

Following a site survey from Matt, the system was installed by Conor's electrical crew and Denis and his roofing lads. They arrived with us that morning right on time, explained what was going to be done, and then did it quickly, efficiently and very professionally, keeping us fully updated as the work progressed. The whole team were brilliant and took great pride in their work. They were also very friendly, polite and personable.

Everything was done very thoroughly and with great attention to detail. Denis checked in with us about the best placing for the panels on the roof to leave open the chance of a future attic conversion, something we'd mentioned to Steve during the consultation. Conor very kindly explained the new system to us before he left and set up an app on our phones to track power generation and usage.

We've been watching that app with fascination and satisfaction ever since. Even during the relatively short and dark days of February, the system generated enough power to make a meaningful difference. Now, with a bit more brightness and longer days, the solar PV, along with the battery over the evening and night, are reducing our electricity costs massively.

We're absolutely thrilled we've had the system installed, and delighted we picked SolarSmart to do the job! It's been a great experience from the very first phone call. Very highly recommended.

I’m absolutely delighted with the service from SolarSmart. From the get-go, Gearoid McDonnell in sales was brilliant, designing a system that perfectly suited my home without any of the usual sales fluff.
The installation was a total breeze. Denis and his roofing crew were fast and tidy getting the panels up, while Connor (the main electrician) and his crew of Seans did a fantastic job with the internal wiring. What I appreciated most was Connor taking the time to explain the apps—he broke everything down in terms that were actually easy to understand, so I felt confident using the system immediately. It’s clear why they are a top-rated installer; a truly professional team from start to finish.

The team were very professional from beginning to end when installing my new solar panels. Extremely efficient, spotlessly clean and everything was put back as it was. I highly recommend them.

My house is old with extensions that made installation challenging but all of the difficulties were overcome in a practical and efficient manner- very happy with the workmanship, the paperwork and the process for recovering grants.

Overall great experience. Paolo and Morgan were very helpful throughout the process. The app is very handy for tracking generation but also usage.

We had been thinking about getting solar panels installed for a few years but we were not convinced by the information given to us to proceed.
Solar Smart's interaction with us was very different. Paulo kept in touch and send out to us many members of staff to explain in great detail all that was involved and the best way to proceed with the installation. SolarSmart installed the panels in January 2026 and they are working very well when the sun peeps out after all the rain!
