Thought the communications between my self and NSI w as poor at your end. I forgot my password and as I have dementia had a lot of difficulty trying to get a new one. Will just close the account and go to a local bank who have a facility within travelling distance.

Lack of viable communication
I am a long term customer with several accounts. They emailed about a new British Savings Bond, but it is not shown in my portal and therefore I cannot apply only using my current details. Clearly NSI do not want my significant investment in their new product! and run the distinct risk i will close ALL my accounts.
Very poor communications, no email contact, they don't reply to twitter, chat goes round and round and no actual person, phone I waited 30 minutes and gave in - they do not offer call backs.

It’s quite cumbersome to cash in Premium Bonds. First make a transfer to Direct Saver and then wait 24 hours for money to come into my bank account
I suggest all this could be done using the NS&I App.

Red Alert for anyone wishing to invest…
Red Alert for anyone wishing to invest in Premium Bonds for grandchildren. It’s a complete nightmare. Information displayed on my own online account is erroneous - it has been changed, but not by myself. Tried to get it sorted. Call Centre useless. Raised a complaint, then another and this looks like it will run and run…. This is not what I expect from a financial institution dealing with one’s money. Far too lackadaisical.
