Service and Product quality is great

Service from Danny at Preston store was great. He was able to answer all of my questions and was knowledgeable. All of my emails were promptly followed up. Beautiful, solid dining table. Delivery and set up was also fantastic.

Chairs are better then I thought they would be

I ordered online for chairs I had not seen in person. I was regularly notified by text about the status of the delivery process from then until they were delivered. The delivery person was very friendly and helpful. The chairs were better than I realised and I love the colour.

Never again

I’m giving Nick Scali 1 star which is for the staff who sold me the couch they were lovely. However the post sale customer service by their head office is deplorable. I’ve had 2 different switches go and the lounge is not 4 years old. No pets or kids in the house so the lounge doesn’t get rough treatment at all. When I lodged an enquiry online asking who to contact to get the second switch fixed I was promptly told the lounge was out of warranty and they couldn’t help me. I was only asking for a recommended repairer in my state. They then sent me the name of a leather repairer in another state. Not even a suitable switch repairer . It’s become obvious that their lounges are cheap imported rubbish which they then falsely advertise as being a quality product. Never again will I buy one of their lounges.

Update of my complaint- Nick Scali are…

Update of my complaint- Nick Scali are not interested in any form of compensation or replacement despite me sending pictures the day after delivery. Cushions are meant to have pooling even if they haven’t been sat on and cushions should go flat daily! Please don’t waste your hard earned money, baring in mind they have only recently taken over fabb sofas the amount of negative reviews is insane! In show room the furniture looks so impressive they are not the same quality when delivered- apparently you have no rights to return the only way is going to small claims court. Please save your time and use a reputable company. Please don’t comment asking for more info and like you are a company that care you really don’t care that you have taken £2000 of my money and left me with this sofa that will not last a year!

Very easily damaged. Please think twice

We bought a dining room table, bench and coffee table, totalling nearly £3k.

They look great, but the quality is of a standard similar to Argos. The smallest knock or sneeze will cause a scratch or dent. Due to the manufacturing process, scratches are obvious as leave a white mark.

I would advise extreme caution with their products. Genuine hardwood will not scratch like this and I’m genuinely so upset I’ve wasted my cash on this stuff.

Good luck if you don’t listen. Hope you have a ton of bubble wrap to eat your dinner off.

Splashed out and REGRET IT!

Splashed out and went for “premium brand and company”. Ordered couch for over $6000 and got talked into extended warranty also. Couch ordered November 2025. Got Delivered Jan 2026 with one of the reclining seats faulty on a lean with reclining mechanism not attached to chair and can’t be used. Called customer service and given the run around of how busy they are and need to wait to mid Feb for them to come check it. Booking date came and went with no visit or contact. Called couple days later incase they contacted me, NOTHING. When called, after several holds, told it was due to a “medical emergency” and sorry. Next time they can come review is now March. Said not happy and wanted supervisor… more hold and surprise, no supervisor available. Best they can do is investigate further in the background and call me back in 2 days. I said just send out a replacement, but that’s not possible. So, 4 months since order, $6000+, 2 days of work and multiple call… I still can’t use 1/2 my couch. Sales up front are amazing and then you’re left to your own. I am taking further action as not good enough!

Thanks Nick Scali Wednesbury especially Kay!

Great Customer Service from Kay and the wider team at the Wednesbury Store (UK)! Sofa ordered end of November 2025 and sofa delivered early February 2026.
Kay was helpful and friendly, knowledgeable about the products and payment options and not pushy which I appreciated!
Delivery was conducted by an external company who kept in touch with regular updates.
I have had the sofa for 2 weeks now and I am really pleased with the product so far!
Would recommend Kay from a customer service perspective, the Wednesbury store staff were generally friendly and helpful.

AVOID NICK SCALI

Bought a brand new leather lounge suite from Nick Scali West Gosford. Within 7weeks the leather stretched and ‘pooling’ of the leather made the lounge look years old. After contacting NS they sent out an “independent contractor” to assess. From the moment he entered it was clear his job was to isolate NS from any warranty claim. He measured the stretch in one of the seats and it had stretched 60mm in seven weeks, which according to him was normal. He then showed us the trade tricks to tuck in the stretch to make the lounge ‘look new’, IT WAS NEW.
True to form NS denied warranty responsibility.
Learned my lesson, hopefully others will learn.
DO BUY FROM NICK SCALI.

I regret purchasing a couch from this…

I regret purchasing a couch from this store. Despite the high price, the quality was disappointing, with noticeable wear appearing far sooner than expected. When I raised my concerns, I was informed that refunds were not offered, which felt unreasonable given the condition of the product. The lack of support after purchase left me frustrated and dissatisfied. I would not purchase from here again.

One star is far too generous

One star is far too generous. We ordered armchairs on 22nd of November and were promised delivery by the end of February. Instead, we’ve now received four different delay messages in just the past couple of weeks.
These chairs were not custom-made — they’re the exact same design, fabric, and colour as the ones on display in-store. So what’s the excuse?
Nick Scali had no issue taking good amount of prepayment upfront (40% of total amount) but delivery dates clearly mean nothing to them. The lack of honesty, accountability, and basic customer service is appalling.
This feels misleading at best and downright dodgy at worst. Completely unacceptable for a supposedly “reputable furniture retailer”. Avoid if you value your time or money.

Unprofessional putrid service.

Unprofessional, unapologetic, rude, rip off. Couch was brought, had defaults, had upholstery person out who tried to fix it. NS will give us refund $1000 less than we paid and store credit (which would be a waste, as i won't step foot in there again. Its brand new!! I will never!! Ever!!! Shop there again. Absolutely appalling, disgusting customer service 😑. The old saying you get what you paid for is out the window! Rather shop at a cheap and nasty place knowing I'll get better quality and service! Shame on Nick Scali and their team! Putrid behaviour. Will be going to consumer affairs on this one and escalating it as far as it can go. I have many highly populated media platforms, and the 1000's of followers will also be warned ⚠️. Do better!

Product looks fine

Product looks fine. The delivery was awful, might sound like a small issue but they dumped all the empty boxes on the front lawn. Surely it is more practical for the delivery specialists remove these huge boxes? Made the whole experience second rate!! Would look to purchase elsewhere next time.

This is also reminded via SMS prior to the delivery and assistance with Enviroman for package disposal was also offered through the SMS, at your own expense.

Exchange policy - no good

I wish I read online reviews before we purchased our bed frame and beside tables. Sales staff were excellent and it appeared that they will help us to exchange bedside tables for the two smaller versions at a charge, but sadly they would not agree to sell the smaller tables at the same sale price that they were on in January, not even a week from the time we bought our furniture items.
As a result I will now try to sell all three items online and will definitely not buy any other furniture at Nick Scali. A friend did ask me why am I buying furniture from them as they are known as a cheap brand. But I already got our items delivered.

Absolute Disaster of a Company

Nick Scali has been nothing short of a nightmare.

Their sales reps explicitly told us the furniture was in stock, so we paid over $8,500 in good faith, only to find out after taking our money that the order was delayed. This delay completely derailed a live project where all furniture was required last week.

As a direct result of Nick Scali’s incompetence and misleading information, our project has been set back and financially damaged. This is not a “delivery hiccup” this is real-world impact caused by false assurances.

What’s worse? This is the second time we’ve had this exact issue with Nick Scali. At this point, it’s clearly not an accident it’s how they operate.

Trying to resolve this through their customer service has been even more infuriating. Their call centres are overseas, and not a single representative seems to give a flying shit about the situation. No accountability, no urgency, no ownership—just scripted apologies and zero solutions.

They are quick to take your money and completely absent when things go wrong.

This has been a horrible experience every single time we’ve dealt with Nick Scali. Never again. I strongly advise anyone considering buying from them to think twice unless you’re happy being misled, delayed, and ignored.

Could not recommend Nick Scali enough

Could not recommend Nick Scali enough, we were hesitant ordering as we had read about issues with delivery and delays. However, our couches arrived prior to the date that we were initially promised. The delivery team did an incredible job installing and we love our couches. Cannot recommend them enough.

Went into swindon showroom in october, Wife perfect sofa and reclining chair for me.
Had a 16wk wait, booked delivery date and it arrived that day, Delivery men had no problems getting it in, they assembled it quickly and professionaly,
Wow well worth the wait it is perfect.
