I've been working on tracking down a strange smell in my well water and, with the help of Tap Score, we identified not only the smell but also other major problems with heavy metals.

My city water was irritating my skin and tasted awful. Before buying a house filtration system (I went with Springwell), I wanted to test my water to see what kind of filtration I needed. After reading Amazon reviews, I concluded that the cheap tests were inaccurate to the level of useless so I went with TapScore. While I find their site tricky to use, Kelly at customer service has been wonderful at helping me navigate the site, collecting the water samples and interpreting the customer friendly report. And the information was invaluable when talking to the Springwell people about what I needed for the house. I'm springing for another test to see what's left after the Springwell Whole House Filtration system was installed. Highly recommend TapScore!

The process was easy and very efficient. The website is user friendly and I was able to share my report with people. The customer service(Kelly, specifically) was very helpful with my water retrieval questions and after figuring out the next step with my results.I appreciated the different ratings on my results(federal guidelines, EPA, etc). I have installed and whole house water filter and will repeat another test with Tapscore in a few weeks.

Tap Score team in particular was so helpful. we tested our well for the first time in a decade and found some uranium and iron and bacteria. Kelly helped us pick out a great filtration provider to help solve the problem. Ill be back!

Tap Score was consistently finding arsenic in my water (6 times over 18 months) but when I ordered a specification test it came negative. After several emails i was offered to redo the test if I pay for shipping. I ordered the same test from a different company and it came positive with a break to arsenate and arsenite. I understand errors are inevitable but not admitting them and not correcting is unacceptable.

We have well water and had concerns about black gunk in our toilet tanks and orange ring in toilet bowl water. We did not know which way to proceed whether chlorine shock for iron bacteria, water softener, whole house filtration system, etc.
Your lab test with instructions helped us make an informed decision as well as saving us money by identifying which system would suit our circumstances based on the water test results. After reviewing our results Kelly patiently and systematically answered all of my questions in detail. Now I can proceed with improving the quality of our water as well as prolonging the life of plumbing and appliances.
The only addition I would make is to add to cardstock instructions (for iron bacteria testing ) reminding the user to put a piece of white paper behind sample before taking photo. This was in the online instructions, but not on the card stock instruction. Our photos turned out ok but definitely easier to evaluate with the white backdrop.

This is a upper echelon company. My test was lost by the postal service (no shock there USPS...), and I reached out to simple labs to tell them what had happened. Wouldn't you know they stepped in and called the post office too!! And when things didn't seem to be getting resolved they immediately mailed me a new kit at no additional cost. Truly a standup company that is there for their customers. Thank you for all the support!!! :)

The report was clear and comprehensive.
They even provide remedies.
We were hoping for better test results, but at least now we know what we are drinking. We now know there is something to be addressed. The customer service was exceptional.

Tap Score provides the best method to test your water for a comprehensive array of contaminants. They also have a website Simplelab to view all of your reports in one place and you can access your reports to evaluate your changes in water quality over time to see what metals or VOC may have changed. Especially with health issues it is important to check your water and also to test your filtered water not just water from the tap. I have well water and test for both to see how the filter is or is not working. I recommend tap score to everyone because water quality may make the difference in staying well and disease or cancer free.
