Fantastic two nights in Poznan, great hotel situated in the Old Town. Great stadium and friendly locals. Cheap beer and food as well, really couldn’t have been better.

Amazing, our second trip with mystery away days and they always do a great job. We went to see lech Poznan this time and young boys last time, both amazing games and amazing atmosphere but the main thing to say is their service is fantastic too. Quick and easy really happy to help and even moved my dad’s dates when he couldn’t make it anymore.

Will definitely book again for next year!

We initially was given a Union St Gilliose home game in Brussels. This was changed last minute to Gent vs Club Brugge as the tickets for the original game weren't issued in time. Our half hour trip to the game now become over an hour.... Well thank god it got changed, the best atmosphere i have ever heard and see at a footy match, shame the UK games aren't as good. We flew from Heathrow early Friday and returned Sunday evening. The hotel was good but we were hardly there. I couldn't fault anything about this weekend ...... loved it and for the price will be doing another. The boys have done 4 they have had, Ath Madrid, Juventus, Gothenburg and Greuther Furth, what a mixture of games and they haven't had any bad experiances yet.

We got Charleroi in Belgium. The flight times were perfect for a weekend get away. The football game was great however our seats were massively obstructed with railing. The hotel was a 15min bus ride from the hotel, 20min walk from the stadium, next to a shopping centre and the bus station/metro station was directly opposite meaning the day after we had the whole day to explore the city so easily. It was a perfect gift for my partners birthday. I do think it’s maybe a little over priced considering how cheap the football tickets were and I believe the hotel could’ve been nicer however for a weekend it was great. Maybe in future it would make it more worth it if more was included like plane seats together or a travel guide for the chosen city. Overall I’m very satisfied with the experience and will definitely be planning another one maybe in a warmer month!

Enjoyed a really good experience with Mystery Away Days and trip to Düsseldorf in Germany to see Fortuna Düsseldorf match (Bundesliga 2) in their impressive big stadium surrounded by lots of passionate (and loud) home fans. My son loved it. And really good communications and customer service from the Mystery Away Days team around the edges. Would recommend. And looking forward to our next time!

From the minute we stepped on the plane the experience was amazing. Arrived in Dusseldorf and the hotel was pretty much in the center of everything. Travel to the game was included in the match ticket and the train went right to the stadium doors. What a set up inside..as much food and beer as you can stomach. Germany does football properly. Hotel we stayed in was beautiful. If anyone is thinking of doing a trip get it done you won’t regret it

The Lausanne vs Servette game they chose for me was incredible, 0-1 to Servette but the atmosphere and football was excellent. Flares being set off every 5 minutes by both sets of fans and fireworks in the second half, I’d never seen anything like it. The trip itself was good as I was flown into Geneva which I found to be a great city with enough to do in the 3 days. My only concern was that Lausanne was over 40 mins away from Geneva and with the game at 8:30 at night I struggled with public transport back to the Lausanne train station to a point where I almost missed the last train for the night. I did go with the no accommodation option so I’m not sure if MAD would’ve gave me a hotel in Geneva or Lausanne but I flew into GVA so I’d of guessed there. I’d definitely do this again maybe in summer and I’d hope for a city with the game being played around the city. To others reading I’d advise to be as prepared as possible for the trip if it’s a late game like mine.

When booking the trip, we requested the most obscure destination possible while also ensuring a short commute to the airport. Instead, we ended up in Paris one of the most visited cities in the world, watching Paris FC. Knowing little about them, we did some research and found that they average 4-5k fans in a stadium with a 20k capacity. When we arrived, tickets were being handed out for free outside the ground. The game and the atmosphere was poor, with most of our group leaving at halftime.

The hotel was decent but required metros or taxis to reach any attractions. The airport, we flew in and out of Beauvais Airport, which was two hours from our hotel. MAD posted about the destinations they sent fans to that same weekend this was very frustrating, as those options were exactly what we had asked for.

Despite the disappointment, we made the most of it and had a good weekend as a group, but we could have planned a much better trip ourselves.

Everything was great and went smoothly! We were given our flight booking 2 weeks before the getaway, and received the football tickets a few days prior. We arrived in Geneva nice and early on Friday morning, giving us the whole day to explore. Saturday, the football game was in Lausanne in the evening, so we had the opportunity to spend a whole day in Lausanne as well - a short train ride from Geneva. Overall, the experience was wonderful and we would highly recommend Mystery Away Days to other couples, groups of friends, or family members who enjoy weekend city escapes and love football!

Brilliant weekend in Prague! The service from Mystery Away Days was excellent, they were always on hand with any questions and support needed. Will definitely do again and have recommended to friends.

Polish fun. A wonderful weekend watching Lechia Gdansk. We never expected Poland but really enjoyed it & the beers & transport were cheap. The Stadium was only 3 miles from our accommodation & quarter mile to the station / tram stop. We walked to the game & tram back.

The idea of a MAD seemed great. I cannot fault the company for the travel, hotel or match tickets. As all of these were fine and the atmosphere at the football match was excellent. We enjoyed a good game and the atmosphete was impressive.

The downside to the weekend was a poor venue. It was difficult and expensive to get to and the city just had little to it. I love a city break but this has massively underwhelmed me. I don’t often just get time me and my oldest son due to other family commitments and what should have been an amazing trip for beer, football and laughs was spoilt by a poor location.
This has put me off booking again, when before coming out i was hoping it would become a yearly mini break. If i was guaranteed a decent city with lots to do and better transfer connections with a good atmosphere within the ground that would have been better. From reading other reviews i feel a little bit robbed from my experience.

I have now used Mystery away days for a few trips now and have yet to be let down. I went to Berlin with my brother and dad. My dad has never been on a European city break so I asked mystery away days for a good city to visit and also a stadium with a good atmosphere. An early morning flight on the Friday was perfect as we had all day Friday to do some sightseeing in Berlin. Hertha V Kaiserslautern was fantastic, it's hard to believe these teams play in the 2nd division as the atmosphere was tremendous with both sets of fans making plenty of noise! We even made some new friends with the Hertha support. The accommodation was absolutely perfect too. A spotless AirBnb located about 100m away from the train station which had easy access to all areas of the city. An all round great trip and I'm already planning my next one!

This was an great experience for me and my dad and brother, the Malaga game had an amazing atmosphere and it was a great game, the general experience of Malaga was fantastic and I would definitely recommend it.

Adam from customer services is so helpful as my flight is in 2 weeks and he is constantly reassuring and letting me know all the updates when they arrive! So far it’s brilliant.

What a trip! My friend and myself just returned from our trip to Dusseldorf with MAD and it did not disappoint. Everything was fantastic from the flights, hotel quality & location as well as view for our match, and a great game for the neutral (3-2).
A brilliant city to explore and enjoy, made easier by the organisation & planning from mystery away days. Couldn't recommend enough and will definitely be booking again soon.
