Just back from Geneva to watch yeverdon v grasshoppers with my pal

Unreal from start to finish,everything very central aswell with lots of good bars around and the weather was brilliant aswell

Booked a surprise trip to celebrate my brother's 30th birthday and had a fantastic time. We ended up going to Budapest which is a great city and the game we watched was extremely entertaining and a good standard. We assumed our tickets were to watch the home team so I bought a couple of MTK Budapest shirts from the club shop before the match. It turned out we were in the away end, so the security didn't let us go in with our home team shirts (unsurprisingly) but we were allowed to sit with the home fans - so I would suggest double checking before buying any merch...

I had a few questions which I emailed to the support team and they were quick to respond and extremely helpful. I had a slight issue with getting the wrong booking reference for my return flight, but again the support team were incredibly helpful to resolve the situation.

If you like football and don't mind improvising with your holidays, then I would absolutely recommend this.

This is the second year I have done a mystery away day! This time we ended up in Tenerife,Santa Cruz, watching Tenerife vs Burgos! The atmosphere was boss, the city was gorgeous to walk around and sightsee! Transport links was easy around the city! Hotel was lovely!

Great trip to Budapest to see MTK Budapest v Paksi. My fourth experience with Mystery Away Days and like the other three very well organised, excellent communication and amazing value for money. Great hotel, flights smooth and on time. Superb match day experience and plenty time to take in all the sights of this beautiful city.

Thoroughly enjoyed it. The match was fantastic. Santa Cruz was a little hard work as not much to do in the area. The weather did not help but that cannot be helped. Good flight times as it gives you nearly 3 full days
Meet 4 scoucers at the hotel and airport and most of the 3 days they were really good and talked to them a lot.
Only downside from our point of view with us been from Newcastle as it was hard work getting to the airport and awake 36 hours to get the plane due to having to get the train. Again not your issue. Will ups defo do it again hopefully a little more obscure like Switzerland or something

What a fantastic trip. Managed to be in 3 countries in a day! Left Edinburgh to fly to Copenhagen then the train to malmo. We stayed in malmo then got the train to Helsingborg for the match. When we arrived we went to the club shop and bought bits and bobs. We then went to the unlimited buffet in the sports barn. Unfortunately we were told there is no bags allowed within 150meters of the stadium. At this point we were thinking it’s back to the train station to find a locker but no. To of the ultras took us to there store and allowed us to put or stuff in there till after the match. We then went to the buffet for som food and drinks. As for the match we were invited to sit in the ultra section of the stand and the hospitality of these fans were second to none. They even bought my son and me drinks and and at half time. Helsingborg are now officially our second team

Second time we’ve travelled with them - Santander and now Karlsruhe!

So easy to book, great communication, fabulous price. We even managed a second game on the Saturday this time which made the trip all the better!

Flight hotel and match tickets all booked. There was not one thing wrong at all brilliant experience will definitely be doing this again.

Portimao, Portugal.
This was booked as a lads weekend, 12 in total.
We opened the envelope at the airport to discover our location and to be honest we were disappointed with the team we were going to see. It was a Liga 2 bottom of the table clash on a Sunday afternoon (flew out Friday).
Hotel was an hour taxi from Faro airport (taxi not included), but although the hotel was VERY cheap and cheerful (€60 p/n) it was situated on bar/club street. Not great for a relaxing stay, but perfect for a messy lads weekend. The bars were open all hours and were pretty lively.
The awful time of our return flight meant we had to pay for late check out so we could freshen up before travelling home.
The venue and quality of the football was awful. The was literally nobody there. Only alcohol free beer was sold and the face value of the tickets was €5! Zero atmosphere.
Even the locals were laughing at the suggestion of attending the match.

We paid £405 per person, so pretty sure they made a tidy profit from us all.
It's a good idea in theory, but would recommend getting your wife/partner to organise a mystery trip instead.

2nd time on board with mystery away days, ended up in krackow this time around, great flight times allowing us nearly 3 days of enjoying the place, digs were a ten minute walk to the main square in krackow, the ground was only a further 20min walk which was a bonus, watched cracovia play from the top polish division, great little stadium, fantastic atmosphere especially from their ultras. Great weekend all round imagine and it will be hard to beat next time round, but we're gonna book again to give them that chance 👍

Second time we've been away and, as with the last trip, everything went to plan. Love the whole idea of not knowing where you're going until the week before.

Having just returned from krakow as my mystery away day was Cracovia v Puszcza Niepołomice, what a city krakow is having never been there before. The football atmosphere was something you don’t get in England and was throroughly enjoyed. From start of the paying process right up until the game day mysteryawaydays were spot on with sending all the flight and accommodation information out. Already recommended to friends and family and will 100% do it again. Thank you guys you absolutely smashed it

Had a proper good time. Great city, great stadium, great game of football. Pretty decent value as well.

Only down side was our flight home. It was in the middle of the night. That would make me think twice about using this company again instead of trying to organise a similar trip myself. Perhaps more airport options would be good too. Picking London meant one of 5 and they are a long way apart.

Was sent to Prague, which is a brilliant city, to see Dukla vs Slavia. Enjoyed the whole trip, only let down is that it feels too short, even just another day would’ve been brilliant.

We got a local Geneva derby for our mystery away day! The atmosphere in the ground was incredible, a once in a lifetime experience for sure. Such a smooth booking process and was sent the details prior to travelling. Would highly recommend :)

Very well organised, great location and our boys loved it.

They are already looking forward to the next one.

Fantastic experience the hotel was in an amazing location , match ticket was class on the 3rd row and flight times was excellent , very happy with our time in Turin

We had the experience of flying into Amsterdam to catch the match between Utrecht FC and NEC Nijmegen. The atmosphere at the game was electrifying, with passionate fans filling the stands and creating an unforgettable atmosphere. It was also a fantastic opportunity for a city break, as we explored the streets of Amsterdam. While it's certainly possible to plan such a trip on your own, I would highly recommend choosing a specialized service for a hassle-free and mysterious adventure. They make the process so much easier and more enjoyable!

This is my 2nd trip with Mystery Away days.
First trip was Basel in 2023. Grenoble this time.
The whole idea and process is just fantastic. The unknown of where you'll be going. The team upload the regular teams they goto, but it's always a complete surprise.

The flight times were ace - early morning meaning more time in the city and coming home you're not hanging around waiting.

Accomodation is all you need for a weekend, clean, comfortable, decent location.

Team are always on hand if you need to contact them.

In short, if you like seeing new places and like football, then this is the best idea going.
