Amazing experience, well organised, fantastic city, great stadium and nice accommodation.

Would definitely book again!

We had a brilliant time in Krakow, accommodation was 10 mins walk from the square and 20 mins walk away from the stadium so an ideal location, topped by a brilliant game and amazing atmosphere from the Cracovia ultras Letting of pyros and flares all game.

Everything about this experience was AMAZING! From the communication (with great support) to the quality of the hotel and match choices, Mystery Away Days delivered in spades.

I'd highly recommend taking the leap and booking an away day - you won't be disappointed!

Absolutely fantastic from start to finish, we got sent to Milan to watch Inter. It was amazing. Great flights, great seats in the stadium in the block next to the ultras so the atmosphere was quality. Accommodation was clean and in close proximity to the San siro, tram and tube stops. Would definitely recommend to anyone thinking of doing this. Thank you to the MAD team. We will be booking again.

An excellent weekend away, well organised and communicated. Who knew that Eindhoven was a great location for a lively weekend away! Hotel was of a very good quality and location, which was a pleasant surprise! Cant wait to go and do another trip next season

Our trip was fantastic from start to finish. We were sent to a great European city to watch a team we had never heard of, and would never have dreamed of booking for ourselves - and it was absolutely brilliant. Great atmosphere, cool stadium, cheap beer, and plenty of goals!

Would recommend this unique experience to anyone, and I have been doing!

Terrible from start to finish. The envelope we received had a game for the wrong date and city. Once that was eventually sorted we were told THE DAY BEFORE the trip that we didn't actually have tickets for the game. We had to sort tickets for a different game ourselves meaning we had to travel an hour on the train.
For the price we payed we could have sorted it ourselves for half the price.
Complained several times but they don't care. They had our money and that was all that mattered.
Even the destination they sent us to was terrible for an 18 person stag do. Completely ruined my cousin's stag do.
Will never use this company again, and if you're looking at using them I'd think again, they only care about your money, once they have that they don't care about anything else.

Fantastic stag weekend. We'd never have chosen Poznan, Poland but it ended up being the perfect venue. The hotel was clean and comfortable, the city had plenty of bars and nightlife, the football ended up being an historic 8-1 win. Adam at MAD was super-helpful and ensured that everything from last-minute change of names to plenty of emails from me clarifying things were all covered clearly and in a timely manner. Would defo use again.

Weekend away - wasn’t sure but excellent in the end. Any questions had answered quickly via chat portal.
Great experience and would recommend doing it. I would suggest that take the hotel inc package as then you have everything covered for the destination given as that is easier than working out accommodation yourself.

We were so excited when we got told we were going to Milan to watch Inter vs Cagliari at the San Siro with Mystery Away Days.

We made our way to the stadium before the match to soak up the atmosphere but as soon as we got to the gates, it all started to fall apart. One of the tickets wouldn’t buzz us in through the security gates. We were told to go to one of the booths to speak with a member of staff, which we did. However they quickly confirmed that we had a fake ticket! Apparently it happens a lot when tickets are booked through a third party…This broke our hearts as we were so excited and also trusted that MAD would make sure that all tickets were legit and not through an untrusted site.

I couldn’t quite believe what was happening. I instantly sent an email to MAD explaining the situation which was responded to once they were back to work on the Monday. The team have been apologetic and after a bit of back and forth, they’ve compensated us £150 with a 20% off code, however it is not a full refund for the experience which is what was requested. Or to be offered another experience at no cost seeing as the main reason we used this company was to witness a European football match and we weren’t able to do that! Using a 20% off code doesn’t quite cover getting another experience for no cost.

Book with caution if you’re going to. I don’t think I saw anything about fake tickets with this company before I booked but it happened to me so it is possible to happen to you too.

Just returned from a fantastic weekend in Annecy and can't thank the team enough for sorting it all out. Great town, incredible football experience and lovely accomodation. The team also were able to schedule flights from 2 different airports with arrivals/departure within half an hour of each other and an additional match ticket. Fantastic.
Annecy is such a beautiful place. My only advice to anyone headed here for the match would be to stay in town for food/drinks before hand as we only found a couple of places open for food/drinks at that end of town, or head to the ground early. Great local club with great facilities and plenty of food and drink to be had there. The views are incredible also.

We had a very smooth experience being looked after by Mystery Away Days. Our flights were at very reasonable hours, and meant that we had a solid couple of days in Germany to explore and enjoy. The apartment we stayed in was in a great location, and was a good size and well looked after. We had a bit of a shock when we got to the football ground and realised we were in the away team section - which was fine but we'd already bought home team merchandise! So a heads up on that would've been appreciated. We actually couldn't even get to our seats because the away fans had all crammed in and weren't taking any notice of seat rows or numbers, so we had to get help from a security steward to seat us elsewhere in the stadium. Didn't take away from a fantastic atmosphere and cracking match though!

Poland is great place to watch football, with passionate fans and a great atmosphere. Wrocław is a town that is well connected and visiting the stadium and wider area is easy using public transport. Eating out is good value for money and it has a beautiful town square at Rynek and Cathedral Island is also worth exploring.

You need to take care where your hotel is located. Ours was opposite a tram interchange and the railway station, which meant it was very noisy and resulted in little sleep the whole weekend.

Chose this as my stag do, but would not recommend this in the slightest.

We asked for an early flight Friday but received a 6:25pm flight (we landed at 9:20pm meaning we missed the first day). We asked for not too late a flight back as someone had a holiday booked on the Monday, we arrived back after 11pm and the person didn’t end up coming as a result - I know this was only a request, but they didn’t even bother.

From the reveal it was all really poor, it said we were going to Milan to watch a game that was a week earlier in Bergamo (Atalanta). Took a couple of days to clear it up, and we were told it was Atalanta on the Sunday (even though we asked for a Saturday game, again not even bothered to listen to our request).

After realising we were going to the Sunday game we booked tickets to Inter Milan on the Saturday. The company 2 days before we flew out sent an EMAIL - didn’t even have the decency to call - about the change in circumstances. Luckily Google reminders put the email to the top, otherwise we’d have not known. The worst customer service followed. The day before we flew out, they offered Inter Milan tickets, which most of us had already bought. So we ended up being in a completely different city to the game we went to see, and flew back out from a different airport on the other side of Milan, resulting in a huge 2 hour transfer on the Sunday. The person dealing with it didn’t want to deal with the queries, so ‘went on his lunch’ leaving 17 people without any idea what was going on. The T&Cs stated that this was a major change within 7 days, entitling us to compensation; but they argued it wasn’t the case and Inter Milan was the ‘backup’ option. We could have booked any manner of different activity for the Saturday, and would have missed out. The company knew we had booked the Inter tickets, due to the issues with the reveal, and argued that it wasn’t a major change.

I wouldn’t bother using this company again, their ‘service’ was nothing more than booking flights and accommodation at the cheapest possible price (hence the different airports). Really poor way of handling the issues, and the fact they didn’t call is inexcusable.

Luckily I have fantastic mates and family who were able to make the most of the situation and it ended up being great, thanks to them.

If you are considering a mystery away day, you may as well just book a city yourself and find the tickets yourself as these aren’t worth the money you pay for their service. Their customer service leaves a lot to be desired, we all probably would’ve made it an annual trip, but now we will just do it ourselves each year.

A really original gift with everything taken care of: the thought process is not required as everything is done for you! Decent value for money too. Would highly recommend for lovers of the beautiful game!

We got sent to Wroclaw in Poland, a place you’d probably never go to by choice, but it was class!

Game was very interesting, beer was cheap and the square / nightlife in the town went down very well.

Overall experience with Mystery Away Days was good, contact and the way everything was explained 10/10

Just came back from Szczecin poland. The entire experience was excellent. Took me to a city I’d never even considered. Atmosphere at the match was spectacular. Good flight times and hotel was serviceable. Will absolutely do again and happy to recommend to anyone. Thanks all the team for a cracking holiday

My experience, I don’t understand what we paid for. From start to finish, what an absolute shambles. 18 person booking and what we got was just laughable, and in all honesty a company not providing the service they were very well paid to do.

Firstly, flight preferences, we picked AM outbound flight… keep this in mind.

First the reveal, 18 blokes who have paid in total around £5.5k, meet up a week before flight day, to see where we’re going on the weekend beginning 11th April… congratulations you’re flying to Milan at 6PM… (not taking into account our preferences we had somebody drop out, down to 17) to watch Atalanta vs Lazio in Bergamo… on the 5th April. Great start. So we get in touch, ‘sorry our error, you’re going to the Atalanta vs Bologna game 12pm on the following Sunday’. The day we fly home at 6pm, so that’s not ideal also.

Realising we’re there on the Saturday with nothing to do, and in Bergamo, not Milan. We then go out of our way create member accounts and 11 of the 17 decide to get tickets to the San Siro on the Saturday, Inter vs Cagliari 6pm kick off. Very easy to get, sorted. Not ideal because it’s splitting the group up for a few hours but everyone understood it would be an experience to go to Italy and watch a game at the San Siro. Then we can go to the Atalanta game Sunday before we fly home. Why they wouldn’t think to just get us in a hotel in Milan and to that game? You’d have to ask them because they said in emails that they had to compromise on a later outbound flight due to the better quality game we were getting… keep this in mind also.

Fast forward a week, Thursday afternoon before we fly on the Friday, we get an email from the company telling us they CANNOT arrange tickets for the Atalanta game, which is in 2 days time, now because of how big the game is. Which is absolutely ridiculous and just one of many lies this company sent to us, as we could access the tickets available and you could buy them just maybe not in a block of 17 which would’ve been fine, not ideal. So without going out on our own back and booking the Inter game the whole trip would’ve been pointless and their service not needed one bit.

So they then say our best alternative is to send you to the Inter - Cagliari game… which we have already gone out of our way to buy tickets for ourselves and sorted travel to/from the game. Which was a hour & thirty minute train away from our hotel in Bergamo into Milan, they said it was 55 minutes which is why they couldn’t offer any refunds. They could reimburse the people that had already bought Inter tickets and attempt to get us another 6 while telling us atleast we’ll be going to a superior game, so why they would book the Bergamo hotel and that Atalanta game in the first place is mind boggling considering they lied about making us take later flights for a better game experience. All the tickets to Inter separated of course because why would a stag group want to be together? Just a very confusing and pathetic attempt at handling the whole trip.

Thankfully our group saved the trip through our own plans, but the planning from start to finish with the company was shambolic. The communication from their team to our booker was even worse with one example of ignoring 5 calls, to receive a message back letting us know he’s having lunch while 17 of us are going to Italy in 24 hours with absolutely no idea of the plans was astonishing. I’d personally recommend booking a weekend away and seeing if you can get into a game that weekend because the business they run I don’t understand what service they provide that you couldn’t do yourself for a fraction of the price. Embarrassing experience all round from the company with no real justification on what they were trying to achieve or compromise other than a few public travel expenses.

Fantastic weekend in Bergamo. Flight times gave us a lot of time to explore, hotel clean, comfortable and well situated, match was an amazing experience. All organised really well. Would definitely book again.

Been speaking about booking a mystery trip with my mate for ages and we finally decided to book. We asked for somewhere different and not any elite clubs. Mystery away days sent us to Geneva to watch yverdon v grasshoppers. Whole weekend was brilliant and we was in the standing section behind the goal next to the ultras, was a good game with a brilliant atmosphere.

I had been messaging and also emailing asking questions etc and the team always replied and gave us recommendations on where to go etc.

Highly recommend for anyone to book a mystery trip as we will 100% be doing it again next season 👍
