Mechanic failed to complete one task that I specifically asked to be done, even supplied the part myself. Had to return the following day at great inconvenience to myself.

Fantastic service,accommodating and fast service

I had my car serviced at the Bundaberg MyCar centre. I had been in last week to have a new battery installed. Simon, (the new manager) was telling me that he had been there only 3 days. We got chatting and I told him that I was on the road quite a lot and I needed to to book the car in for a service.
I have used this service centre for quite a few years. Yesterday when I dropped my car off, I noticed that they had an old contact phone number down, so I mentioned this. The young woman said to cross out the old number and write the new number, which I did. This was at 11:30am
So move forward to 3:30pm, I rang the service centre and asked if my car was ready, only to be informed that it had been ready at 1pm and they had sent me a message... Umm, no you didn't! Turns out they had not changed my contact details as asked, so some random person got message saying their car was ready. Lol
Although, Simon stated that he didn't remember sending any message.
I asked if there were any things that needed addressing, he said the front brakes needed replacing within 5000km, then said "Oh, you do a lot of driving we should have contacted you about this shouldn't we?" Yes, you should have, but you didn't update my contact details or apparently look at the consent to service form, so you couldn't contact me!
Then he stated that he would send an email with a quote to get this done... So far no email....

Simon helped me find some tyres for my trailer. Tyres were changed in no time. Highly recommend.
