This clinic is like Gaster, all kinds of tricks, abusers.I ordered medication on my prescription for £69 and when I went to pay I noticed that each package was £79. This happens when you least expect it, you have to be careful. This is one of many examples of the poor practices of this pharmacy and clinic.

Been a patient a good few months here now and I had a prescription written on Tuesday expected payment link on Friday morning as usual nothing there so I rang up multiple times through the day to be told yeah your script is due today call back after 12 ish when the post has been so I did multiple times to be told it’s not arrived only for me to ring again and try and raise the issues I’m having to then have my payment link for my prescription to be sent out at 4:57 meaning I’ve missed the window for delivery and am stuck waiting till next week for medication even though my script was clearly there

Very helpful staff , could do with more non iradiated options and a little frustrating when you find the strain that suits your needs and then it is constantly out of stock fix these problems it would be a five star

I've been with these guys since June 2025 and and have never had a problem with product quality (non irradiated) and the patient care in top notch.Now I can consume my medication legally and not have to worry about the police.

absolute garbage fine at first until a parcel goes missing WHILST out on delivery all they say is we’re waiting for royal mail to investigate it one week later nothing i mean cmon waiting for RM to investigate themselves is hilarious as it is but then waiting a week and still tumbleweeds!!….management doing nothing apart from bouncing emails back and forth it’s basically your problem if it happens they don’t bother chasing it up properly just we’ve escalated it again to no ends AVOID THIS LOT LIKE THE PLAGUE!!!!! and then released my refund after not even getting confirmation that royal mail had lost the parcel so i got two weeks of oh we can’t release the refund only to find out they could AVOID MONTU !!!!

Onboarding Issues:
I signed up on 24 March 2025, and my first prescription was not ready for payment until 28 April 2025. I later discharged myself from the clinic in December 2025. The onboarding process was significantly slower than at my current clinic.
I was not allowed to choose my initial products and was limited to 20g. I was assigned two products from Upstate and Grow Pharma that were not suitable for me, as my preferred flavour profiles and desired effects were not fully discussed.
During a follow-up appointment with a pharmacist, I asked for guidance on which strains might best manage my symptoms. I was told “you’re not making it easy for me” and that I should have researched and selected my order in advance of the appointment. Since then, I have independently discovered that I must avoid limonene-heavy strains, but this only came after extensive trial and error over the year. This experimentation was costly, particularly with Montu’s £9 delivery fee on each order. In my opinion, Montu’s pricing is excessively high and not competitive within the current market.
Limited Choice and Repeat Prescription Problems:
Eventually, I was granted full choice of products within an increased 60g limit, and repeat prescription approval times did improve. However, they remained slow compared to other CBPM providers.
I repeatedly experienced issues with the system preventing me from requesting repeat prescriptions at the correct time (three weeks after the previous prescription). This required frequent calls to Montu to resolve. While the issue was addressed each time, it was frustrating to have to deal with this so often.
Stock Issues and Refund Delays:
On one occasion, I fully paid for an order and was later informed that the product was out of stock. I was only notified by email late on a Friday, leaving me without medication or access to my money over the weekend. It took over a week for the refund to be processed.
Throughout the year, I also encountered repeated issues with products being out of stock after submitting repeat requests, causing ongoing inconvenience and uncertainty.
Customer Service and Postage Refund:
I was initially refused a refund for postage after a delivery arrived late during the Christmas period. There was no clear indication from Montu that the guaranteed by 1pm service was not actually guaranteed during this time.
The first customer service representative I dealt with, Emily, relied heavily on copy-and-paste responses and came across as dismissive and snarky. I had to request escalation to another colleague or a manager on two occasions before I felt properly heard. Despite this, I still have not received the promised postage refund.
Montu’s system requires all strains to be requested upfront for the month, despite frequent stock fluctuations. If you change your mind on a strain after its approved, they won’t allow you to change the prescription.
By comparison, my current clinic uses a far more functional and patient-centred system. I am able to request whatever products I need when I need them, without an artificial monthly limit or having to predict stock/what I will need weeks in advance. Requests are typically approved within around 10 minutes, and once an order is paid for and delivered, I am immediately free to request again for the following week if required.
Overall Experience:
Overall, I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Montu and Alternaleaf. It was only after switching to my current clinic that I realised how much unnecessary stress and anxiety this experience had caused

I am absolutely astounded this company has not got a better rating on here. I’ve had nothing but great experiences the staff are knowledgeable, kind and informative. Delivery is amazing, very discreet and quick too. The product (Flower in my case) is absolutely fantastic. It’s completely changed my life. I’m so pleased I got in touch, thanks ever so much Alternaleaf / Montu ! I hope this review helps someone to take control of their own happiness without using the generic pharmaceutical madness thrusted at you by the gp.

Monster pharmacy. Still waiting 2 months for a reply to return faulty cartridges. Was sent a broken device to somehow make up for the dodgy cartridges. There's no returns option. Far too little product information for products that are brand new in UK. No thought has been given to anyone with poor eyesight who needs to use these products. It's really complicated for a beginner with no help from Montu. They just try sell me more dodgy vapes. The V3 pro doesn't burn all the product and the oil cartridges have leaked everywhere. The oil hardens after each use, it's an absolute nightmare. Not user friendly at all. With new laws and new products, the responsibility to educate people on new products, rest upon the manufacturer and seller, which is Montu. They don't do it. Alternaleaf is great, until you have to deal with Montu. I hope I can use a different pharmacy soon. Montu has absolutely no clue how to deal with a person who has severe mental health disability. I would think they would be very clued up, given it's us who need the meds most. I'm very disappointed. They tried to make it better by giving me a device that doesn't work properly. Not happy at all. I hope Alternaleaf changes soon. We need a better pharmacy. A way to contact them, more product info, returns, learn about the patients needs.

I’ve had a difficult journey with this clinic, but I’m writing this review because it’s important to be fair and acknowledge real change when it happens.
Earlier in my time with Alternaleaf, I experienced repeated issues with prescription delays, slow turnaround times, and access problems through the patient portal. On more than one occasion, these delays meant I ran out of medication, which was extremely stressful and had a significant impact on my mental wellbeing. Communication was also challenging at times, and I often felt I had to chase the clinic for updates.
However, following sustained feedback and escalation of these issues, the clinic has made substantial improvements. Repeat prescriptions are now processed much more quickly, weekend processing has been introduced, and the clinic feels far more accessible and responsive overall. Most importantly, I’m no longer running out of medication.
The difference this has made to my wellbeing cannot be overstated. I now feel properly supported as a patient, far more confident in the service, and much happier with the value for money. It’s clear that concerns were listened to and acted upon, and I really appreciate the efforts made by the team to improve the patient experience.
No service is perfect, but what matters is accountability and the willingness to change. In my case, that change has been real and meaningful.

Plessse avoid this medical canna company. They have possibly the WORST service in the world. To go from initial sign up to getting medication it takes WEEKS of very disorganised unprofessional video calls.
When you finally get the prescription and order the medication they send you faulty vapes that don’t work and it takes about 6 weeks to resolve it through customer service. You pay £10 for supposed next day delivery and it never comes when it’s supposed to, again weeks waiting for customer service to get back to you. When ur meds run out you request a new prescription which doesn’t come through and you can’t order anything!!!
Overall medical cannabis is a great thing and a great business but these people are fully missing the mark and have 0/100 for customer service. Absolute disgrace, I will be changing asap

On second prescription order now with Montu and I've had no problems. My second delivery was slightly delayed but that is Royal Mail's fault and not Montu. I get very anxious especially around Christmas time making sure things arrive in time so I spoke to Thomas on the live chat today, he was really kind and reassured me they would open an investigation... Only for it to arrive whilst on the chat.
I couldn't be happier with the prompt dispatch times, speedy delivery and fantastic customer service. The product range is good although I would like to see dosing capsules for the Mighty Medic sold individually as accessories.
