The communication is horrible they don’t give a estimated time on one is your Oder to be ready and there is no contact number you could contact them and if you contact them via email I’ll take them about four or five days to get back to you and whoever types that email doesn’t make no sense

I still have not received shipping information for my order that was placed on 1/06. I follow up daily, and either don’t receive feedback or get a vague answer. Last response I was told by Ada that I would have tracking by Friday 1/28. I did not receive anything, and still have not received any further follow up. Today’s date is 1/31.

Per their website items ship 3-5 business days after the design has been confirmed. I would be fine with a delay, but communication has been horrible.

Wanted a custom crest ring made for my boyfriends Christmas present.Had no clue where to start, the MD Team was extremely responsive and their custom service was great throughout our entire experience. Answered all of my questions quickly. After we approved the design, his ring took a few weeks to get here( roughly 4-5, but i has expected this since it was custom and we had to approve the design and christmas is usually insane for deliveries) . Delivery was pretty fast considering the distance( originally thought it was coming from TX but it was coming from Turkey) —once i received the tracking info i was able to track our package. We were both blown away at the quality and detail in the ring. The box it came in was very nice, could have been an engagement ring box. it was just what he wanted, Thank you! I will definitely be back for more custom pieces.

Ordered ring. Received confirmation...since then ZERO communication.
Same exact ring was half the price in 2020. After inquiry I was offered a 10% discount. Still no response from company on HOW to apply that.
Communication prior to ordering ring, email responses: A day (or so) later. Not good at all! You cannot get any kind of timely response.
2020 turnaround time surprisingly fast. This time (2021-22), I still have no idea what the turnaround will be, and the ring I ordered is supposed to be a birthday present. Again, no communication, no updates, no apologies, no explanations...nothing! The first ring order I placed I was thoroughly impressed. This time I am nothing short of frustrated.

FINALLY received the ring. A week later than my son's 21st birthday. Literally ordered the same ring as my first son's ring which I ordered in 2020. The rings are NOWHERE near the same quality!!!!! Not the same metal, not the same emboss. AND I paid nearly twice as much for the second ring (of lesser quality).

You wan to waste money?

Still waiting on my final delivery - but design looked great. Team was able to help change/edit their proposed design to meet my desires. Only downside was that the communication via email was a bit slow and they did not have phone support.

There was no answers to multiple inquiries about ETA of my ring . Not sure if it is actually being made or not, but I’ve already paid.

Just recieved my second ring. This time in 14k solid gold. The ring both feel and look solid. Has a nice weight to it. The engraving is crisp.

The wait was rather long. Just about 2 months. It's easy to forget that most of their sales are custom. And craftmanship takes time. But they answered all my questions and followed the order to my doorstep.

All in all top marks.

You will be disappointed if you buy a ring from Minimalist Designs. It took over a month for them to send the ring. I contacted them several times, and they never replied. At some point, they sent me an email to notify me that the ring will arrive in two or three days, But I never received it. When I emailed them about the ring they never answered. Also, there is no phone number to call them. I find that suspicious.

The Good: the ring is quite nice, I ordered a silver pinkie ring with my crest. The detail for a small surface area is very fine.

The bad: as stated on other reviews it is produced/shipped from Turkey and takes much longer to produce than initially promised. Shipment promised in 1-2 weeks; more like 5-6 weeks. As long as you are aware of this then you will not be disappointed.

The mediocre: it is a basic ring, the edges are not rounded on band so it feels sharp (but isn't). Again, the detail of the actual engraving is why this ring gets high marks.

I do not recommend buying from this company. 1) It says it is based in America, but its customer service and production are in Turkey. This is not disclosed. 2) Customer service is terrible. They clearly state production is about 1 1/2 weeks. It took a month and half from ordering for me to receive my rings. Email representatives strung me along the whole way. 3) I ordered a 10 k gold ring that arrived in March. The band just snapped underneath. I do not use it roughly - no sports or manual labor or anything like that.

The only site I could find that did gold-plated family crest rings - and they were terrific! Very responsive, collaborative, and though there was some initial confusion regarding the design they were very cooperative and patient and the final product was better than expected. Highly recommend.

My gold ring quickly faded within days of reviving it. I had worn it for probably a total of 3 hours. I contacted customer service months ago, and nothing has happened. After checking in multiple times, they respond with “we’ll get back to you” but this has been going on for weeks. Finally they have not responded to anything that I have sent. I feel absolutely scammed.

Ordered two signet rings on June 3rd, design approved June 4th. Website states "8-12 business days" to ship. We are on day 19 and counting. Little to no communication, no phone number (my fault for not seeing this red flag pre-order), only contact is through email and it takes days for a response. Was told a week ago my items were set to ship this last Tuesday. It didn't, and they've gone completely silent even after several additional emails asking for updates. I'm very surprised they are actually still in business based on how they interact with their customers. Stay far far away from this business.

Update: Finally received items 31 days after order and they are not very good quality

Excellent service. You have the opportunity to confirm the design you sent and with that process I received my ring sized and designed as I wanted.
