I want to start by saying that I spent months researching ethical jewelers before choosing MiaDonna. The mission resonated with me, the reviews were strong, and I felt confident enough to spend nearly $5,000 across two purchases. That trust made this experience all the more disappointing.
The ring arrived, and it was perfect, but it did not fit my partner. No issue there -- sizing is hard to get right online, and MiaDonna advertises free resizing up to one size above or below. I reached out to begin that process.
What I was not prepared for was learning that the ring I purchased is a "new style" for MiaDonna, and that due to its thickness and channel-set stones, they are not certain it can be resized at all. None of this is disclosed anywhere in the product listing or description. There is no note that the ring is a new design, no caveat on the free resizing policy for certain styles, nothing.
To find out whether a resize is even possible, I am expected to pay hundreds of dollars out of pocket to ship the ring back for evaluation. Best case, the resize works and I absorb the shipping cost. Worst case, I pay to ship a $2,400 ring back and forth and receive it in the same condition it arrived, still not fitting.
The customer service representative I worked with was kind and clearly doing her best within the constraints she was given. This is not about her. This is about a policy that was not disclosed at purchase and a situation that puts the entire financial risk on the customer.
I will be taking the ring to a local jeweler for an independent evaluation. I will not be purchasing from MiaDonna again. If you value transparency in your jewelry buying experience, I'd encourage you to ask pointed questions about resizing policies before purchasing -- especially for newer styles.

I ordered a yellow gold ring in my size and got a white gold ring that’s way too big. Has to be ATLEAST a whole size bigger than what it’s supposed to be. I waited three weeks for my wedding ring and I was really disappointed. The picture in the advertisement also looks like the band is much thicker and the ring I got has a super thin band. Ultimately I wish I would’ve shopped local. I have to go get my ring fixed, I can’t wear it and it’s the wrong metal color and that can’t be fixed.

Beautiful ring, goes great with my round solitaire. Once completed, shipping was fast. Packaging was lovely, they included a jewelry cleaner in the box as well.

The staff listened and provided direct support with what I wanted. Didn’t try to upsell me or make me second guess my choices. Greatly appreciate them listening and providing me with exactly what I was looking for!

Been a month and I have not yet received my order due to an error on their end. Customer service has been decent to respond to my queries within 24-48 hours.

I never received anything. I’m glad I ordered a ring sizer first, because now I don’t trust them to deliver something expensive like a ring. I emailed them two weeks after I ordered, and they just said usps is slow. I have usps informed delivery, and nothing has ever shown up as even being mailed by them. The email didn’t give a tracking number either, which I thought was strange. I already inquired about my order, and didn’t get a real answer, so I guess they can keep my $5, lol.

Nightmare of a company to work with and wish we had gone with a different jeweler. It's sad to feel regret looking at something that is supposed to make me feel love and happiness. Its been 5 years since I had my original engagement ring, upgraded it with their program since my husband couldn't choose the diamond he wanted originally (that's a whole different problem), had it remade TWICE because quality was awful, and I had my wedding band for less than 1.5 years until I had to replace it with a similar band from a different jeweler because TWO diamonds fell out and the band cracked TWICE. A diamond in the newest engagement ring on the band SHATTERED. How does a diamond, shatter?? When I took it into the jeweler I had my new wedding band made I asked them to look at that specific diamond because to me it looked off... they were hopeful that is was just dirt, but they came back and notified me that it was indeed shattered and they replaced it with a new diamond.

Long term - quality is absolute crap. Customer service is cold. If we could go back in time, we would save ourselves the money, the time, and the heartache.

Loved the selection and story and my sales person was a true expert. We had a lot of fun trying on and selecting my diamond hoop earrings. Love them!

Always top notch service, great products and fast shipping.

The ring came out absolutely beautiful. And the process was super easy. The one thing I wish they did a better job about, is the communication throughout building the ring. It took about 20 days for the the build and ship it but there was very little communication which left me feeling uneasy.
