Highly recommended - I recently updated my adult and child first aid qualifications with Mini First Aid, and I must say, they are very professional and keep up with the latest information. You do not need to take a qualification; e.g. courses begin at £30 for parents, grandparents and carers. You can also opt for public classes at local venues or arrange a private class - you and others can only benefit. Katy and Claire were excellent trainers willing and able to help and answer all our questions - thank you.
PS: Since the course, a friend collapsed at home and was saved by CPR...!

Baby first aid 16 August 2026 Mulbarton village Hall - trainer Laura. As a new grandparent I was keen to learn first aid skills. Well structured 2hr course, relaxed environment and Laura was very knowledgeable with ad hoc questions being asked. Everything explained in plain language and opportunities to have hands on practice with dummies. Lots of topics covered. Very informative and fun couple of hours, small group of 12. Even once the class had finished Laura was still happy to take further questions. Small shop at the end available to browse, no pressure to buy. Highly recommend, great value for money. Well spent couple of hours and many thanks to Laura, amazing teacher! Sarah TB

Informative, well explained and up to date. Hopefully never need to use it but better to have the knowledge and not need it than need it and not have it.

Katy and her team mate (forgot the name 🙈) were both amazing!!! It’s was a very relaxing atmosphere and extremely informative, she patiently answered each and every question clearly and explained every single detail of the course. The equipment was really well maintained, ready and neatly arranged. The 6 hour course flew by as she made everything so clear and concise. Best course I’ve been on.

Really enjoyed the Mini First Aid course. Liz Watt was very knowledgeable and taught lots of very practical things. We also got a chance to try them out on life-size baby dolls, which was very helpful. We covered a great deal including CPR, burns, bleeding, choking, seizures, menigitis and more. It was a very worthwhile 2 hours.

We attended the 2-hour Mini First Aid course with Lynsay (Fife & Forth Valley) and couldn't recommend it more highly. As parents-to-be we found the session incredibly informative and reassuring.

Lynsay was knowledgeable and engaging throughout. She explained everything clearly, answered all of our questions with confidence, and made us feel much more prepared to enter parenthood.

The course was well structured, hands-on (how I learn best!) and full of useful advice that every new parent should know. We left feeling more confident and equipped with the skills to respond in an emergency. Thank you, Lynsay and Mini First Aid Fife & Forth Valley, for such a valuable and enjoyable course!

Thank you Sarah for running an informative first aid session . It was done in a fun practical way but there was plenty to learn too . I would definitely recommend this course to new parents & grandparents

We attended the baby and child first aid course led by Andrea in Cotton End as expecting parents. Andrea was so clear and had a wealth of knowledge to share with us, we felt the course was delivered really well and gave us a lot of information. Before moving onto each stage Andrea asked if there were any questions and if we wanted her to go over anything to clarify. All questions were answered and Andrea was very helpful with her responses. The content of this course is absolutely fantastic, and having a go practically is very useful. It was a bonus that first aid kits and other bits were able to be purchased at the end as it was something I needed to buy and I knew everything I would need would be in these kits! I have recommended this class to my NCT group and also friends with young children or who are pregnant.

Did the mini first aid day in East Kilbride which was taken by Elaine who was really good at explaining things thoroughly and calmly which made me feel a lot more confident about a potential situation with my own baby that might require first aid.

Emily delivered a first aid course for my sons football team and she was great from
the point of booking to delivery of the session. Pitched at ever right level for all the kids aged 7-11 and a good mix of discussion and activity. All the kids loved it. My son came home and told his dad all about it and even demonstrated how to get him into the recovery position and what to do if he was burned

Katy was a great teacher, informative and approachable, and her passion in this area really came across!

My partner and I attended the training with our 3 month old.
We had both attended first aid training before, but felt we needed a refresher and definitely more indepth knowledge for babies and children.

We learnt everything we needed to, and the course tutor was amazing at making this accessible for me as an ambulant wheelchair user. I was still able to access the resus practice with the mannequins, with them placed on the table where I couldn't get down to the floor level.

Really recommend this training for everyone.

We attended the class today as parents to be. Our instructor Gemma at Manchester south was really informative.
We have learnt some really valuable things that we hope to never have to use but now feel we can handle these situations calmly and appropriately.

This was a great class - Richard was very passionate about what he teaches and was really helpful! We were able to practice techniques (AKA CPR and positions to deal with choking) on the provided dolls and Richard was there to help and answer any questions. I really feel like I learnt a lot and it has put me at ease as we start our weaning journey soon. Thank you Richard!

We used mini first aid for some family.members after someone in the family having a seizure. They spent an afternoon at our home and giving us useful first aid that was catered for us as a family. Would deffo use them again. We used them last year. I can't remember the actual date but was last year.
