We are really pleased with our staff Adult Awareness training delivered by Hafsa Dar. We are preparing for a hike and want to be prepared for any first aid or emergency situations that might arise. The training was thorough, well paced and taught very well. The practical activities helped us solidify the information we had been taught. We will definitely return for a refresher session with more of our colleagues. Highly recommended.

This is a brilliant course for anyone who has not undertaken baby/adult first aid before. I came away feeling empowered and confident about what to do in an emergency. The tutors were lovely and gave me some good tools and tips.

Very informative and helpful as first time parents

Attend this course in Hitchin. As new grandparents this was a great refresher for us to feel confident when dealing with an emergency. Isabelle was a fantastic tutor and incorporated many personal examples. Her knowledge was superb. Invaluable and I would strongly recommend.

Fantastic, so easy to book and organise and benefitted so many including our parents. We shall be booking again for staff training too!

Excellent training - informative, interesting and engaging.

Emily gave so much information in a short space of time. She covered many topics of baby/child first aid which has given me more confidence to look after my young grandchildren with more confidence.

This has potential, and could be so easily improved with a few tweaks, but unfortunately a lack of attention to detail lets this down.
The booklets had out of date information - extra pages were provided that corrected the information, but I don't know why they didn't just give us up to date booklets - it felt like they were just cheaping out.
The booklet was missing the DRABC acronym content, this was printed separately to show us but should be in the booklet. There was also some slightly different instructions/info in the booklet to what we were taught, which is confusing.
Pens were handed out as an afterthought, there weren't enough for everyone (they were also dirty).
There were no refreshments, I expected tea and coffee and maybe some biscuits, but not even water was provided.
We weren't allowed to practice rescue breaths on the mannequins, and our practice wasn't overseen/corrected.
It would have been nice to go round the group and do intros, to get a sense of why people were there so content could be slightly tailored, and also would have been nice to break the ice. People were shy and quiet which meant the session lacked energy. Perhaps breaking out into groups would have made the session a bit more interesting, interactive and better structured.
A little freebie such as a pen or wallet card with cpr instructions for example would be a nice touch.

Liz is so engaging and informative. A really impressive mini first aid course - a must for parents to be, parents and grandparents.

We had such a fantastic experience with Mini First Aid last night! My partner and I attended a baby and child first aid course as we’re expecting our first baby, and we honestly couldn’t recommend it enough.

Before the session, we both felt quite unsure about what we would actually need to do if something happened to our baby or a child. The thought of being faced with an emergency is something that can feel really daunting, especially as first-time parents.

The course was incredibly informative, practical and easy to understand. We were shown what to do in a range of situations and, most importantly, had the opportunity to practise the techniques ourselves. Everything was explained clearly and in a really relaxed, supportive way, which made such a difference.

We both came away feeling so much more confident and prepared. Of course, we hope we never have to use what we learnt, but knowing that we now have the knowledge and practical skills to respond should something happen gives us a huge amount of reassurance.

It was also lovely to attend together and feel like we’re already taking steps towards feeling more prepared for our little one’s arrival. We would genuinely recommend Mini First Aid to any new or expectant parents — it’s definitely a few hours well spent! 💗👶

I attended the Mini First Aid Paediatric First Aid course 12 hours (6 hours online and 6 hours in person) on Saturday and found it incredibly informative and worthwhile.

The course was delivered by Claire in a really engaging and practical way, which made it much easier to understand and remember what to do in different first aid situations. I particularly found the practical aspect valuable, as being able to practise the skills myself has given me much more confidence in knowing what to do if I ever need to provide first aid.

I came away feeling much more prepared and confident, especially when it comes to caring for babies and children. I would definitely recommend Mini First Aid to anyone who works with or cares for children! I also think that the course is priced extremely well ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
