Wish I had read the reviews before I purchased anything from these guys. Definitely would advise people to not use this company, and they have nothing to do with Melbourne.

Needed new shoes and thought I would try Mills-Melbourne.
As soon as I realised the shoes were coming from China I felt angry.

They are awful- needed new shoes and got cheap plastic stinky shoes. Shoes stink of cheap plastic and not what I thought I had bought- come from China

Product is nothing like the photo. No labels. Different colour and texture. Took 6 weeks to arrive- I was surprised it arrived at all as there was no communication from the company.

Sizing was terrible I ordered large and what came wouldn't even fit my granddaughter who is small. On request of an exchange I was informed they don't do exchanges but gave me a credit for $20 less than the price.

Scam working from China. Doubt they are paying proper import taxes. Have reported them to the ATO. They send items not fit for purpose and then require you to return the items back to China with a postage fee of 45 to 75 dollars. They import the items to Sydney first then send them to customers, avoiding paying correct import taxes.
I asked for a refund of a $62 dollar item that was broken on arrival. They offered me $19. I escalated the claim through pay pal and they privately messaged me and offered me a refund if I canceled my pay pal claim.
I copied the message to pay pal who within 24 hours returned my money.
Mills of Melbourne should loose their right to trade with pay pal.
Pay pal was at least honest and returned my money, if I had paid another way I would have lost $62 dollars and had a pair of broken shoes delivered.
Do not buy from this company.

Ordered from them 5 weeks ago and still yet to receive the products yet I live in the same city as they claim to be based . Customer service sucks and they have not updated me on anything . Do not buy from them .

Small was a large. I’m swimming in the dress. Quality is NOT what described. It’s thin. $80 shoes that look and feel like cheap craft! So disappointing. Do NOT purchase.

The company is a scam. Advertises as Mills Melbourne then you find out your goods are being shipped from China. The delivery took almost 3 weeks and then I was away on the day of delivery. When I came home the next day I could not see my parcel so checked the letterbox assuming it would have been taken to the post office. After numerous emails to somebody named Mia, I was told I could not get a refund as the Courier confirmed item was delivered. The worst customer service in history. Totally unhelpful and very unwilling to give a refund.

Do not buy from this company! They make fake products while featuring authentic images on their site that look nothing like what is delivered while charging premium prices. They imply they are a Melbourne-based company but when you ask for a refund they tell you you need to return the item to Asia at your own expense. They try to deter you from doing this by offering you partial refunds and get you to keep the item. The items also take weeks to arrive which is not clearly communicated.

They also ignore questions about their substandard practices when asked.

Absolutely appalling experience!

As others have stated this is a front for cheap, knock off pieces from China that look and feel nothing like the described items on the website. The lovely”Mia” as someone else described her provides nothing in the way of good customer experience when you raise a complaint. Do NOT purchase anything from these RIP OFF merchants. Be warned!

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. They have nothing to do with Melbourne, they are based in China. The order took 4 weeks to arrive and the product quality is abysmal. The shoes I bought are already in the bin. I have reported them to the ACCC as they should be shut down.

I purchased what was advertised as a leather handbag but turns out to be vinyl and it smells terrible. Delivery was very slow taking 3 weeks. They are a deceitful company based in China, not Melbourne AU.

Claim parcel was delivered when it wasn’t. Chinese based company who pretend to be Melbourne based. Do not waste your money!

This has to be the worst online shopping experience ever! Absolutely terrrible quality and when trying to return they are not interested - in the end after multiple emails back and forth got 50% of my money back and kept the goods which were promptly thrown in the bin the quality was so bad. Purport to be in Melbourne, this is just a front and goods are made and shipped from China.

Love my two jumpers! Nice quality and just as described.
I assumed, by the name, that Mills Melbourne is an Australian company, when I realised my goods were coming from China I felt that they were misleading, However when my goods arrived I was very happy with them.
I do need to exchange one garment as it is bigger than I anticipated. Will update this review after exchange process.
UPDATE Dec 26 I received a lovely personal response from Mia in customer care offering me an exchange voucher for full amount of the Danique jumper. I'm still favourably impressed. Will keep you posted.
DEC 27 As promised, I received a voucher for the full amount of the jumper and have now ordered the correct size. I feel relieved that customer care followed through, and so quickly in spite of Christmas.
I can't vouch for their other products but I ordered the following two knitted jumpers and they are soft and nice quality. Can't wait for winter! Can recommend them.

Cheap products direct from factory in China, not as advertised. Fit is terrible, go 3 sizes bigger if you want to waste your time with them. Material is horrible.

I ordered 2 tops in size XXL which the guide indicated was an Australian size 18. The tops l received were barely size 14 and the fabric was thin and cheap-looking. Very disappointed in the purchase.

Mills-Melbourne - thought i’d order as shouldn't take long to arrive, uses DHL and Aus Post -they are not in Melbourne, actually in China and took 2 weeks to arrive via courier not DHL or Aus Post as stated on website.
Ordered Aria orthopedic sandals, cheaply made material and product. I can’t feel any difference with them supposedly being orthopedic v normal slider.
If i’d have seen lower down the page saying “order larger size than normal” it would’ve sent the alarm bells ringing but I didn't. They fit but only just.
It would probably cost me more to return item, so haven’t. Lesson learnt - read reviews before buying online. Not worth the price of $70

Thought I would buy one of these rather affordable outfits for a Chrissy party. Ordered the linen something XL. What turned up fit my wife (size S) and there were no fabric composition attached to the product.

It felt like one of those 10 dollar Kmart costume outfits.

Do not buy from these Chinese scammers. This is not related to anything remotely close to Melbourne.

I also didnt do due diligence when checking up on them, look at the number of reviews given by the people giving this company 5 stars. Mostly they have 1 review (I know it is ironic as this is my first ever TP review too, but they have really pi%%ed med off) and the wording feels like some sort of poorly written Google Translate copy paste.

Please pay attention the number of words used by people giving 5 and 4 stars to this company, vs 'actual' people that are complaining too... Dont waste your money.

If you have wasted your money, I hope you used your credit card. If you are in Australia you can utilize the Chargeback facility from The Australian Financial Complaints Authority through your Aussie bank normally. Search for AFCA and factsheet-chargebacks

The products ship from China so they take forever to arrive.
Sizing is tiny, even the shoes.
I got the elf sized shoes and then had to pay a restocking fee to get another pair, they were poorly made so opted to go with a credit and purchase a tshirt. The t-shirt was even tinier and made of really awful nylon type fabric. Straight in the bin, not even donation quality. Avoid avoid avoid.
