I have not had the occasion to actually…
I have not had the occasion to actually call on the service, however I have full confidence that I would receive the response and action that I require. Each time I check the equipment by pressing the call button I receive a call back almost immediately. This gives me confidence in MePacs.

The team are always responsive and receive calls readily, though at times with a delay which confuses my mother who is 96 and has some signs of dementia.

I can never thank the MEPACS team enough. Twice their immediate response by calling an ambulance has saved my life. Everyone should belong and have this instant help - young and old, sick or well. You never know what is around the corner and knowing the reliable MEPACS team is there 24/7 gives one great peace of mind every minute of every day. A huge THANK YOU MEPACS.

Backup always available
Just knowing they are there is very comforting.
We had a need to call at midnight. The response was excellent. Paramedics arrived promply.

Never, fortunately have had an emergency call, but every monthly check has been answered promptly and courteously, which gives me a great deal of the feeling of security.

No worries.
I am fortunate that I have never needed Mepacs help in an emergency. I have occasionally pressed my Mepacs button by mistake and my apology is always treated very politely and told "no worries". My monthly test of the alarm is always promptly and warmly responded to and I am always told to "have a good day". I have every confidence that any emergency would be treated in a similar manner.

Professional medical assistance by Mepacs.
I have used Mepacs on 3 occasions calling for an ambulance.
The response was excellent with professional ambulance personnel treating me in a caring professional manner.
If I inadvertently forget to ring Mepacs with my monthly call to let them know I am ok & the equipment is working, they remind me with a call to test the equipment & to make sure I am also okay.
Outstanding service.

I have been with MePacs for a few years, and find everyone very obliging, especially when I forget to press my button. Love the Christmas card as it shows how many people are working for us old dears, and that they have all signed the card. Happy and safe Easter now. Cheers

I have not yet had occasion to call them for help. But on the plan I am on I check in every month. Even if I only think to do this quite late at night there is always someone there.
I'm impressed by the fact that if I do forget to check in they contact me to make sure I am OK.

Great as I have a physical disability…
Great as I have a physical disability and can only use my mouth.. so when the carer goes at night & I need hello, the only way that I can contact some one is by “blowing” in my tube which triggers of the Mepacs speaker behind my bed. Then I can say what I need or who to ring😉

MEPACS operates the personal alarm system in our village. While I have never suffered an emergency yet when I do press the alarm for testing there is always quite a quick response & this is reassuring.

Grateful forMePACS Follow-up Phone Call
I'm fortunate that I haven't had an emergency myself yet, though who knows what is in the future. It is reasuring to know that Help is Only a press of a button. Recently where I live in Euroa, Vic. emergency electrical maintenance was carried out and we were advised power wouldn't be available from 8.30am till 2.00pm on Sunday, later revised to 3.30pm. Next morning MePACS rang and left a message, as Low Battery was flashing and alerted MePACS Office Staff. When I returned home later in day, I rang to let MePACS know that everything was working alright, no longer a flashing Low Battery on my phone. I thank you for this wonderful follow-up.

I'm thankful for the MEPACS service as it gives me more confidence when I'm out and about with my Mobile Mepacs, as well as at home in my garden, etc, and especially at night.
I've always found the consultants respectful and friendly whilst being professional (when I check in for testing) This enhances my confidence as I'm quite an independent person and asking for help can be a challenge. I've been a Carer all my life as a nurse.
