I have always had a most helpful…
I have always had a most helpful service from MEPACS - even when I've inadvertently activated the alarm. I do not regularly report in monthly as from the outset this did not seem to be the expectation when I did it initially. However I am contacted from time to time to check that everything is working. I have had the chain replaced without question when it broke. It is a reassurance to know that I have this back-up.

Instant help.
I am very grateful to the staff at Mepacs who are there in an instant when I press my alarm. I sleep easy knowing I can get help quickly if needed. All elderly should have a Mecaps personal alarm.

While working in backyard shed
While working in backyard shed, I not knowing, accidentally activated alarm. I hear phone ringing 3 times in app 2 minutes. Thought I better check it may be urgent. The 3 calls were from a private number. No message left with a contact number. Thinking telemarketers, I went back to the job in shed. It rang again. Thinking probably same telemarketer. Next thing my son arrives & tells me my medic alert has been set off. First I knew of it. What would've been handy was a message left on answering machine at first phone call. With a contact number. I would've then been able to cancel the emergency.

Alarm not working takes to long to get technician out unable to get it going again no call backs and follow up could be dead no health checks like they say they do better to get mobile with 🆘 button can take anywhere when out and about and cheaper

Had issues with the home base dropping…
Had issues with the home base dropping out due to Telstra tower problems It’s a shame this couldn’t be sorted out but MEPACS replaced the unit and thankfully there haven’t been issues with the unit dropping out ever since. Fingers crossed it stays that way.

ACCIDENTAL ACTIVATION.
I would like to praise MePACS for their patience and understanding. Between me and the cat we've managed to accidentally activate the alarm around three-four times! In response to my deepest apologies the operators have been amused and understanding about these unintended incidents. I've now got in place safety guards to stop it happening. One thing was abundantly clear - the system works!
