We are two-time customers of Medley (previously Stem). We found them through our research for green furniture makers and two years ago ordered our first sofa, chair, and ottoman, which we have been very pleased with. More recently we were looking around for a sectional and ended up purchasing from Medley on clearance a sectional that had been returned by another customer because they didn't end up liking the color (no other issues). Again, we are very pleased. We worked with Laura through both order processes, and she was very responsive and helpful. We live on the East coast, and it's a bit nerve wracking to order "big ticket" items like this sight unseen. But we have been very happy with the results and would recommend Medley to others.

I got the Mota sleeper sectional, and I am in love with it. It’s SO comfortable—and beautiful! I can’t remember the name of the fabric, but it’s the perfect bluish green. It was really important to me to get furniture with no flame retardant, and this couch fit that necessity, for my space perfectly and looks amazing. The delivery guys were also excellent (Angel and his team). I live in an unconventional place, and they walked down 200-plus steps, on a hillside, multiple times to deliver it. The fabric is pulling a little bit in just one place, and I haven’t slept on the pullout bed yet to assess how comfortable. Other than that, this couch is everything I dreamed it would be — and more. And the customer service was excellent. I showed pictures of my living situation to Justin, from their operations team, and he guaranteed they could help me out. And they did! I would recommend Medly to anyone!

We were impressed with Medley from start to finish. They provided us with excellent guidance about what fabric types and couch styles would fit our lifestyle. We were regularly updated about the construction of the couch. When the couch arrived, it met/exceeded our expectations with respect to comfort and style. The one downside with ordering custom product made to order in USA is that it takes a while to receive the completed project. It is worth the wait!

I absolutely love my Mota XL sofa with latex/wool and the wolf fabric. It is beautiful and most importantly, comfortable. Laura and Shawn were incredibly helpful and went above and beyond every step of the way. This is definitely a quality piece of furniture that will last. At first, I was nervous about making a big furniture purchase online, but between the detailed customer service and exceptional craftsmanship, I couldn’t be happier. I look forward to buying more from them in the future.

I ordered a sofa through Medley, and they worked with me throughout the process. I had an issue with the firmness of my sofa, and they went above and beyond to try to make it right. I would recommend them highly. The quality and service that they offer is top-notch, and their non-toxic offerings really differentiate them. It's worth supporting companies like this, as you can feel good knowing they are an ethical and sustainable choice.

We love our Medleyl sectional! Comfortable beautiful, and healthy. The service was also above and beyond. All in all we had a very good experience and would highly recommend Medley to anyone seeking a high quality, clean, and environmentally friendly couch!

I looked at Medley when it was called Stem, I ordered under the Medley name. I dealt with Laura from start to finish; so helpful, patient, and fun. She made the process so much easier, as my head swirled she guided me. My family loves our Rio Sofa XL and Mento Ottoman. My Son & I are sensitive to smells & chemicals. I cannot get over the lack of smell(there is a tiny & I mean tiny sweet smell). I have a eco latex bed; had to put essential oil, baking soda & water on it for 24 hours - was told about 1% of people smell it - yeah that's me. So for me to be able to sit on this sofa immediately after delivery; is amazing!
We got the foam, it is firm which we like.
Delivery was 5 star, they took all the wrappings, cardboard with them; thought that was a nice touch.
I think the price is reasonable! I looked for years at eco furniture and I know the prices are coming down because of demand; but I think I would have paid about 2/3 more from another eco furniture company.
We are very happy and will purchase from Medley in the future.

I ordered the Zavis sofa and chair in the Bennet Indigo fabric and the Mento Storage Bench in the Bennet Dove and they look fantastic! The whole Medley team was very patient and helpful when I was trying to figure out what to order and on a limited budget. The delivery time was also much faster than originally estimated. I could not be more pleased with the furniture and the whole experience :-).

I was looking for a company that sold furniture without flame retardants, formaldehyde, or other toxic chemicals. Medley sells nontoxic, high quality furniture at a good price. I bought the Zavis chairs and the Rio Chaise sectional and couldn’t be happier with both. The cushions are supportive and comfortable, the fabric is holding up well to our 3 kids and dog, and they look great. It was very easy to get fabric samples to help me choose which one I wanted. I also love that the couch and chairs didn’t smell at all from the second they came out of the delivery box! Service was excellent too.

We love our new Zavis sofa and loveseat. It is well made and beautiful. We did splurge on the eco versions made with latex and wool, not only because it is free of toxins, but also for it’s durability. We have been sleeping on an organic latex mattress for eight years and it has not changed one bit! The latex sofas are comfortable and on the firm side, which is exactly what we wanted. Our last sofa was so “comfy” that we were developing back issues. We used Calvin Sea as our fabric. It is a lovely blue with a smidge of green. It has a natural look and a crazy good stain barrier. I poured red wine and coffee on the free sample swatch before ordering...both came up with simple dabbing with a clean cloth. Medley’s customer service is wonderful and responsive. Our delivery was not without issues but several people from logistics contacted me by email and got it straightened out pronto. My advice is to communicate with customer service until you get exactly what you want. They are patient, helpful and willing to customize to your preference.

We love our sofa & chair from Medley! I was able to order swatches & customize the legs I wanted.
Most importantly, no awful off-gassing from chemicals!! I have chemical sensitivities & allergies.
Customer service was very attentive and the delivery guys were overly helpful. Much better experience than dealing with in store sales staff too😬

I was hesitant to purchase a sofa online without having seen it in person but figured it was low risk due to Medley’s great satisfaction guarantee policy. I am so happy I did. The sofa is beautiful and the craftsmanship is impressive. I would not hesitate to purchase from Medley again and I have already recommended to multiple friends. No sofa I have seen in big box stores came close to comparing.

Good experience. Love that we were able to order a bunch of fabric samples and customize leg length on couch. Couch was ready more quickly than expected and is quite comfortable. I love that it's not off-gassing--new furniture and carpet tends to give me headaches, and this couch didn't, even right out of the package. Recommended!

From start to finish,purchasing to delivery was exceptional and professional. Customer care was on top of any and all issues small or large and resolved to the utmost satisfaction. Clearly we would do business with them again.

The process so far has been outstanding. With such a big purchase from afar the staff was available and willing to answer every question in a friendly, knowledgable and helpful way. I liked dealing with a small company--the same person every time I called, making the experience more personal. Couch was ready weeks before I expected, delivery went smoothly and I am pleased with the quality and color.

This was our second purchase from Medley (former Stem furniture). This time we bought Zavis chair in Texture Oyster. The fabric is beautiful and sturdy.
The chair arrived about 8 weeks after the order date, and we were timely informed about major order updates. Overall, we highly recommend Medley to everyone looking for for quality and non toxic furniture.

Stem is an awesome company. Exceptional customer service and beautiful product. I bought the Miku Bumper Sectional XL with the latex and wool fill and an organic fabric. The sofa is so comfortable and stunning. Well worth the cost and lead time for a custom, non toxic piece of furniture. I will be purchasing from Stem again.

We bought a custom bed frame and the Blumen sofa. The bed frame took longer approximately three to four months while the sofa only took about 6 to 8 weeks. Both items came undamaged so beautiful well made and will last a lifetime. Completely stylish and minimal design. We had trouble attaching our headboard to the bed frame so stem sent a local Carpenter to do it for us free of charge. Communication was easy and even though you do have to wait a bit for this furniture as it is not ready off the floor like Jordan's Furniture or something like that the wait is well worth it. Gorgeous pieces non-toxic sustainably made handcrafted and will last you a lifetime seriously stylish.
