From my first visit to the showroom to delivery and installation the service from everyone at MCD was brilliant. Huge thanks to Joanne and to Steven who installed the shed (it wasn’t easy) and his teammate.
The new shed is great quality and would highly recommended MCD if you need a new garden building.

I recently had a shed installed, and I'm quite happy with the service I received. Completed the installation in the expected timeframe. The shed itself is of good quality and seems sturdy enough to withstand the elements. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is that there were a few minor issues with the installation, such as a small scratch on one of the panels and a miscommunication regarding the location of the shed.

The staff in showroom were extremely helpful. Advising us of things we might have forgotten.
Fitters arrived on time and were pleasant, polite, efficient and tidy.
I love my summerhouse and would not hesitate to recommend the company.

Initially spoke to Joanne on the phone who was very knowledgeable about the shed we wanted. The delivery was bang on time on the day specified. The fitters were very polite and professional. Great service, great product. The steel sheet roof sold if for me but the quality of the product itself is second to none.I would definately recommend MCD.

Very happy with our 8x6 Garden Shed which we've had for six months now - far better quality than anything else we'd seen. All the people we dealt with both at the office and over the phone were very helpful and efficient and the fitters did a great job. I have no hesitation in recommending them.

This company scams you out of your money. Once this company has your money, you are left with no recourse to get you money back for faulty goods.

If this company tells you that you have bought a ‘bespoke item’ this basically means you can not return it under any circumstances even if the item is faulty, this they do not explain to customers. You will be left with that faulty item, as this company will not acknowledge that there is a problem and refuse to fix it (minor or major problems) with what you have purchased.

You have 30 days to return a none bespoke item, the problems with this is that, this company assures you that they will fix the faults and assure you that you can return it after the 30 days. Once you have gone past 30 days you find out you have been misled by this company. Even though they record all calls, the conversation that they stated you could return a faulty item seems to be recorded over, then this company denies the conversation ever took place.

This company’s fitters do no report major faults with the item, that they have noticed when erecting the item you purchased. This company puts the faults inspection on the customer, this where the problems start, as some faults are Not noticed until sometime later after the fitters have gone even weeks later.
The faults should have been detected and dealt with before the item was delivered to the customer.

The items you buy from this company are manufactured in Ireland and flat packed then shipped out. There seems to be no quality control before your purchase has left the factory and no quality control before delivery to customers either.

I purchased a shed and the roof is blatantly not manufactured properly as it is at an angle that makes the shed look lop sided. To fitters this is obvious and they did not report this to the company.
I brought this to the company’s attention, with photographs and when their top fitter came out to replace the warped door and various minor faults, He refused to acknowledge that there was a problem with roof and stated ‘“It’s just a shed”’. This statement is the attitude of this company.

Customers are purchasing beautiful looking, high end, perfect shed, summerhouse, etc. If they just wanted a shed, they wood have purchased a cheap one.
When your dream shed, summerhouse etc, is crushed, it courses you a lot of stress and you know you have been scammed out of you money.

This is a small update,

This company has not been in contact to fix or replace my roof, neither have they replaced the damaged piece of wood that the fitters made initially and no compensation offered.

If you buy anything from this company you are gambling with your money. Ask yourself, do I want the stress if I receive faulty goods?

99% of the time if you have faulty goods, that’s what this company leaves you with.

This company keeps your money and you are left with faulty goods it’s a scam.

I have noticed a lot of negative reviews have gone missing on here, that was on from last year. No idea why.

I can not understand why my review has been put under review. As I have only told the truth and why have my previous review been removed.

I still have no offer from you to fix my shed or replace it or a refund with all the stress you have caused.

All you do is ignore your customers with complains.

Why have the reviews that I printed out last year have been removed?

Why have you not bothered to fix my shed?

I paid a lot of Money in good faith, Why have I not received what I paid for?

You have scammed me out of money and why have I not received what I ordered in the first place?

You have not replied to my last question on my last review.

When are you going to fix the roof, fix the door that lets rain in and fix the floor that is water damaged?
All of which I have photos and so do you.

Fitters came to build our wonderful high quantity shed 8x6 wife said they were good characters and got the job done no fuss just supplied the coffee and bikkies and off they went like a couple of duracell bunnies once again thank you

Purchased my 12 x 8 pent shed in 2020. Joanne and the sales team were really helpful. I was able to request the windows and doors to fit my requirements with no problems. There was an issue with the installation that was rectified without any trouble. I have been using the shed for over 2 years and it's as good as the day it was installed. Very happy with the service and product provided. Highly recommended.

We were recommended to use MCD by friend.

I wanted a shed for my rabbits. I have had several sheds before from other companies that just were not up to the job, so I had a clear idea of what I wanted. This consisted of a shed and walk in mesh run with first fit electrics. I chose to paint it myself and added the cage mesh after it was built.

They followed my instructions right down to how wide the open section needed to be to fit the mesh I had purchased. I must be honest; I was an annoying customer and changed my mind a couple of times as to exactly what I wanted. They were patient and made sure that they clarified my requirements.

I have had the shed 6 months now and I love it. It’s gone through the worst of the winter weather and has provided a warm safe home for my rabbits (it’s also made it more pleasant for me to spend time with them in bad weather).

If I could give it more than 5 stars I would.

Hi i recently purchased a 16 x 8 summerhouse combi and i must say how happy i am with the quality of workmanship undertaken to the spec i desired, sale team excellent and the fitters were marvellous, i would highly recommend MCD to anyone

I recently purchased a 30 x 10 shed and am very happy with the quality and service from MCD. A shed of this size is obviously quite a large financial investment so I didn’t make this purchase without a lot of thought and research and I have not been disappointed. I would definitely recommend MCD if your considering a better quality shed than the typical B+Q rubbish.

From taking my order and guiding me through to the delivery of my shed everything was superb. I honestly could not fault a thing. They were able to make my shed bespoke and nothing was too much trouble. 5 stars all the way!!!

After having bought a cottage style shed a couple of years ago I decided to order a 3 bin surround in a similar style to match the shed. The surround is well made and looks smart at the end of my patio. I decided to collect and assemble the surround myself and Martin was very helpful in accommodating this and providing instructions on assembly. I would definitely recommend MCD.

We started a large garden project during lockdown building new patios, greenhouse and shed bases as well as planting half a dozen new trees. When looking for new sheds we were determined to avoid the cheap 10mm shiplap sheds that seem to be the norm these days and came across MCD. The quality is just superb and the 20mm shiplap boarding, 2”x3” framing and a steel roof was just what we were looking for and I highly doubt I could have built this myself for the price. Instead of one large shed we went for a pair of 8ft deep x 6ft wide apex sheds side-by-side as it gave us more hanging space on the walls and was easier to organise inside. The whole MCD experience was second to none from discussing our plans, through to ordering, through to delivery and assembly by the MCD team. We stained the sheds black which has worked really well and even a year or so on they still look fantastic. Very happy!

Absolutely love our new garden chalet. Very well made and looks so lovely in our garden. Whole process was smooth and installation was really quick and professional. Would highly recommend.

After looking at different companies, we settled on MCD for a number of reasons. We liked that you could choose your own size and make up of the summerhouse and shed, the box steel galvanised roof is better than felt, the dimensions of the wood used makes for a solid construction and the overall price offered the best value for your money compared to others.

The customer service has been excellent from start to finish. We dealt with Joanne who always replied quickly to any questions we had and kept us informed of the progress of our order. The 2 fitters who built the summerhouse were great, really friendly guys and didn't waste time. And like other reviewers have said, cleared up after themselves, with no mess left.

I'd definitely use MCD again and happily suggest to friends to check them out if they are looking for a summerhouse.
