Great location near tube, M&S, bakery and common. Apartment is large and airy and well supplied with crockery, cutlery, glassware and kitchen equipment. Check in was super easy. High standard of cleanliness.
We had a relaxing and hassle-free week.

Fantastic accommodation, great location, spotlessly clean and very homely

We had such a lovely stay! The weather was incredible, so we used the veranda every evening. The location of the apartment is ideal - close to the tube and buying food on the way home is very simple, as there are a few shops to choose between. The apartment is nicely decorated and has everything you need. It’s our second time staying here and we will be back again!

We had a fantastic stay at Madison Hill. Julie and the team were extremely helpful, and responsive. The location is perfect for getting around in central London, with a tube station less than five minutes (walking) away from the apartment. Near the apartment, you have access to local restaurants and supermarkets, which is very convenient.

We were provided with adapters in the apartment and appreciated this touch given that part of our group was visiting from the US.

‘Tout était parfait dans le logement : propreté, équipements et accueil. Seul petit point à noter : l’insonorisation. On entend assez facilement les bruits de l’extérieur. Pour les lève-tôt, cela ne pose pas vraiment de souci, et l’hôte met gentiment à disposition des bouchons d’oreille. Je recommande de prévoir éventuellement un masque de nuit si vous êtes sensible à la lumière du matin. Sinon, l’appartement est très bien situé pas très loin du centre de Londres et bien sûr pas très loin une station de métro. Si je dois revenir à Londres, je pense que je ferai appel de Nouveau à vous!!’

The accomodation was in line was what we expected, and we were prepared for the noise of a busy London. What made the stay great was the help we received from the host on some questions we had.

Fantastic location, loads of great restaurants, coffee shops and pubs within walking distance. Super easy access to the tube and beautiful parks nearby. Julie was so helpful and incredibly responsive. Highly recommend!

The location is terrific - close to a tube station and places to grab a snack or coffee (the M&S is currently being renovated but will be fantastic when open as it’s across the street). The space was as described and there were no surprises. Having a balcony was really lovely. Everything was very clean and the basics are supplied incl soap, dishwasher tabs, tea and biscuits. There are very clear instructions in the flat outlining everything you’d need to know. There are also local recommendations and information about the area - restaurants and farmers markets, etc. The owners have clearly thought through what is helpful and welcoming when staying at an Airbnb. Communication was easy and efficient, and I had the pleasure of meeting the owners at check-in as well. Would stay at one of their properties again in the future!

Great, location and excellently modern furnished flat.

I just recently moved to London from the US and needed temporary accommodations while waiting for my permanent address to become available. I stayed at Byrne Garden with my dog. The flat was wonderful - it’s bright and airy yet still cozy! The finishes are all well done (lovely bathroom, cozy bedroom, upgrade fully stocked kitchen, washer/dryer combo unit) and the flat was super clean. It was nice to have the garden with the dog. The location can’t be beat. Balham is a very nice area with many young professionals and families. The flat is so convenient - it’s close to the Balham station (northern line tube/southern line national rail), 2 full size grocery stores less than 5 minutes walk (Sainsbury’s & Waitrose), and plenty of restaurants close by. WiFi worked great and had no issues on my WFH days. Overall, it was a great stay and had me second guessing if I should have moved into the Balham area!!

We loved our 2 week stay at this flat in Balham. The neighborhood was a highlight, with lots of bars and restaurants to walk to in the area. It was also very close to the Balham tube station and a Sainsbury's for grocery shopping. The place itself was clean and simple. The bed was comfortable to sleep in. I felt safe with the gate surrounding the complex and secure access to the building. Of note, the host was very flexible with check-in, but you do have to meet her in person to get the keys and this option might not suit everybody's travel plans. This flat is nearby a railroad track and the trains running by can be noisy at night. We didn't have any issues with the windows closed but light sleepers should be made aware. The water temperature in the shower and sinks can be tough to control, but I imagine this has less to do with this specific flat and may be a regional issue.

The location is phenomenal!! close to countless restaurants and grocery stores. lots of small shops and within walking distance. The property itself was very nice and properly equiped with cooking essential. We did lots of cooking and found everything we needed to cook a full pre Christmas dinner. The living room was spacious and had a nice pull out couch. It can get a bit loud as the property is on a high street, but never had any issues falling asleep. The host also provides ear plugs. The place also has a washer and dryer which was helpful as we under packed. Overall great value and beautiful flat. I would stay again.

Very clean, very well equipped bed, very comfortable, close to the subway less than 10min walk, heated accommodation on our arrival. Top recommend.

This is a pretty good apartments. As a family we had a good experience at staying. Nice kitchen with all stuff you need. You will find there even the coffee machine.

I wish I had known about this rental before but this will be my permanent spot when staying in London. The distance between central London and south London is awesome it’s right in the middle. Tube station is down the block and can get you to Piccadilly Circus in 25 minutes or less. Incredible food options on the same block ( Brazilian, Mexican, halal, brunch spot next door, etc) . Very clean and spacious apartment. To top it off very helpful hosts- we left an item and it was shipped transcontinental the next day. Extremely responsive host. We are really appreciative of our experience at this incredible rental. You really feel at home. I recommend it to everyone

I stayed in apartment Clapham South 1. I loved every moment of my stay. It was super clean when I arrived with everything I could have needed for every day living from bedding, towels, kitchen appliances, crockery and utensils. I was there for over a month due to renovation in my own flat. The level of service was exceptional. I felt that I was in very good hands at all times. The apartment was spacious and extremely quiet with no noise from neighbours. The beautiful little balcony looked over the interior court yard which was lovely. I felt so relaxed and safe there. The location was perfect with the walk to the tube station being almost less than a minute and M&S right next door, Sainsbury’s across the road and a Tesco superstore not much further. I want to thank everyone at Madison Hill for my great experience.
