Absolutely horrible service

Absolutely horrible service - paid $25 extra for an add-on I didn’t receive, then one bag wasn’t unloaded upon arrival. When I realized I tried to call Luxy only to be hung up on three times because “dispatchers were busy.” Finally got the driver on the phone and he wouldn’t come back to drop off the bag, I would have to go an hour out of my way to pick up. Never using again

DO NOT USE LUXY RIDE I REPEAT DO NOT USE LUXY RIDE! On 7/6 my husband and i were to be picked up at 4:30 am to be taken to JFK for a flight to Aruba. - at 4:40 am the driver still didn’t show. I called the dispatcher and he said he would find out where the driver was. He calls back at 4:45 am to say the driver had a flat tire and it could 30-40 minutes or longer to get to us - i told the dispatcher this was unacceptable and we needed to get to the airport. I also asked why the driver never called me and the dispatcher also told me he wasn’t notified either. The dispatcher said they would try to get an Uber or Lyft but that I could also call for my own Lyft. Not acceptable that I have to call for my own Lyft. Dispatcher called back at 4:50 and stated they could get us an Uber but would not be there for at least 30-40 minutes or longer. Again i said not acceptable and i needed to get there and could not wait that long . I stated that now I would have to drive which I did not want to do and I would have to pay for parking in the dispatch said that they would be willing to pay for parking and offer us other incentives. I told him I wanted to speak to someone today and if I missed my flight there would be hell to pay and he said someone would call me. I get to JFK and we missed our baggage check in so we could not get on our flight. They told us we would have to come back tomorrow because they had to reschedule us. We would have had to have another Covid test done and complete another ED card to be accepted into Aruba. we were extremely upset. We ended up being able to get a flight with another airline. No one from Luxt ride called me that day and when I called when I got to Aruba I left a message and asked to be called no one called me. I called Lexi ride on my return on 7/13. I spoke with the Craig and he said that he would send this to the review board and I would receive a call back within the next 24 to 48 hours no one called me back after 48 hours and I had to call the company I spoke with Nicole who was the customer service manager and she stated the best that they could do was offer me $50 I told her this was abominable and a slap in the face for all the aggravation that this company put us through that day and that the dispatcher said they would pay for a parking which was $252.00 And she stated he should’ve never said that but he did say that. she did say well we did refund your money as if that was a gift. they had no choice but to refund my money for a service not taken she said she would take the claim to the operations manager and they would call me back that day or the next day needless to say I never got a callback and had to call again and the best they were able to offer me was $100 credit. Because of LUXY ride it cost me over $1000 more because of their negligence. I will never use this company again and I’m putting this out there for you to be aware. Their negligence and lack of response and communication is abysmal.  I also paid $381 for this trip so for them to offer only $100 was ridiculous.

Terrible service

Terrible service, made a reservation they didn’t hold it cancelled it just said sorry. Stranded my kids at their location. I would use somebody else.

Terrible service on my wedding day

I contracted this company 2 weeks prior to my wedding for 2 cars. One to pick myself and my wife up a long with another car for our parents. This was to ensure we had a safe ride and could enjoy ourselves since we would need a pick up late and depending on calling a cab or ubering isn't the safe option for your big day. I put in the comments that it was for the wedding when booking.

We got multiple confirmations for both cars, charged for both cars and even received multiple text messages the night before letting us know we were all set. I THOUGHT this was a professional company that was really on it.

The day of pickup I received an email not even a text or a call letting me know both rides had been cancelled because of lack of availability. I am not sure how that is possible since they confirmed both cars the night before. So I assumed it was a mistake and maybe one of them cancelled but when I called they unapologetically told me no it was both of them. I said that I was paying them $300 for both rides that's 15 minutes combined. They need to figure it out, which again they said wasn't their problem and that they usually book weddings differently and I shouldn't have done it online. So no it was my fault. Terrible customer service from a terrible company.

I am incredibly lucky I checked my email and will continue to share my experience as much as I possibly can to warn other people not to depend on the undependable. FYI I already emailed them and got zero response.

Left me without a ride BOTH ways ....terrible service

Left me without a ride BOTH ways even after confirming multiple times. I received a cancellation less than 24 hrs prior and was stuck without any options. Luckily I was able to get a friend of friend to go out of their way to take me to the airport. The service is unacceptable - and at this price point, they should be ashamed. If they can't actually service their App, they should narrow their service area. As a rider, I would suggest going with a local service that actually has pride in their business and follows through with their commitments. The customer service is abysmal.

They left us without a ride

We booked a ride with Luxy two weeks in advance of our arrival in Charleston SC. 12 hours before we were scheduled to depart, I received an email advising that our booked ride was being cancelled due to no available drivers. I was happy I checked my email or I would have been left standing around wondering. A car service that is supposedly so highly rated should at least have called us in case we didn't check our email. Also, why wait until the last minute to advise us we would be without a ride? Not professional at all.

Avoid this comany

This company cannot be relied upon to provide the service that you have reserved - it seems they are only a broker and do not own or control the limos.
We had a firm reservation for two weeks and then five days from the day we needed the transfer they cancelled it due to "lack of availability".
Book directly with the limo companies to avoid this problem.

great service

Had to fly in during a snow storm. Luxy customer service went out of their way too make sure I had a 4 wheel drive vehicle too keep my family safe...very pleased thank you.

horrible service

horrible service. driver was not there when i came out. i had to stop and go to the bathroom for a quick few minutes due to traffic on the freeway, and luxy charged me.

i will never use this service again. i am an executive who travels every week for business....you just lost a lot of business due to your poor service.

i will certainly never recommend your service.

Secure the car seats!

The only thing keeping me from giving my recent experience a perfect score are car seats. You take a two star hit because you charge extra for the seats, but did not arrive with the seats attached. This was rather frustrating. Our drivers were not really equipped for helping us secure the seats and it caused a bit of a delay at both pickups.
Our driver on the return trip told us it was an insurance issue, that the parents had to secure the seats. I can understand the parents making sure the kids are strapped in correctly, but please secure the seats themselves in the car prior to pickup. It would reduce the stress of the trip considerably. Otherwise the experience was great.

Driver impatient because of our luggage…

Driver impatient because of our luggage delays, texted a number of times. Car clean, didn’t use the service on the return.
But overall ok

good experience

driver was very courteous, drove carefully, very helpful with luggage. he needed more experience with LAX pickup and meet&greet procedures - we had our luggage already before he found us in the baggage area.
