I did not sign up for membership. This was unclear. Unhappy to be charged £8.99 without my knowledge. I shop online all of the time and I do not understand why brands needs to trick people into becoming members.

As all of the other people - they scammed me into a membership and let me pay for it for 3 months without indicating that this is a membership i bought?? No confirmation/nothing. Will never buy here again lesson learned!

Charges for membership without making it clear that very month they’ll charge you, whether you make purchases or not.
As with lots of other reviews, mine is the same. They automatically sign you up to membership without you really knowing about it until you realise that they’ve just charged you £8.99 each and every month until you finally twig and cancel. On their order form there is no specific box to tick to say you want to be a member or not, so they are making money from unsuspecting buyers. As for the person below who praised them with 5 stars saying she saved £500, well good for her, my purchase was £18 and now an additional £8.99 for doing so. I’ve bought lots of beauty products online and never once have I been automatically enrolled in a membership scheme without specifically receiving notice that they are going to do so. Very dodgy website making a quick buck. Stay away from them.

Also been paying £8.99 monthly membership with no knowledge
Like many others have just discovered I have been paying £8.99 a month for a membership I didn't take out.
I bought one eyeshadow in December 2023.
When I saw Luxplus on my statement I thought maybe it was somewhere I had bought a snack.
Devious & dreadful company.
I didn't even receive an email to tell me I had (somehow) taken out membership.
I have no contract with them & expect a refund from them.
You should sign up for a membership & receive confirmation that you have.

Purchased an item in January 2025,and then got charged an additional 8.99 for a membership I did not sign up for, I read my order confirmation and there was nothing indicating this fee, I have tried contacting them to request a refund, but you can only talk to a robot, avoid this company at all costs as if you have a problem you will not get any help.

Unfair charging
I bought something from this website and after a month they changed me for 8.99 pounds for membership fee. There was nothing clear about membership fees in registration form or emails. It’s not fair and is not good way to make money from people’s pockets.

Do not buy anything from this site
I bought something for my daughter at Xmas from them through Klarna and kept paying £8.99 for 3 month then it dawned on me I’d already paid outright so after speaking to Klarna and going through Luxplus website it turns out they’d signed me up to a membership for £8.99 a month that I’d never agreed to or wanted I’m fuming that there allowed to do this.

THERE ARE NO MESSAGES FROM YOUR COMPANY IN MY SPAM FOLDER. PLEASE E-MAIL ME A COPY OF YOUR PURPORTED E-MAIL DETAILING THE COSTS ETC. OF YOUR MEMBERSHIP.
THERE IS NO MENTION OF A MONTHLY FEE ON THE ORDER CONFIRMATIONS. THE ORDER ITSELF IS 100% CLEAR, BUT THE MEMBERSHIP IS NOT. THIS IS CLEARLY POINTED OUT IN THE MANY NEGATIVE REVIEWS.
Once again, this company is not clear about the membership payments in its reply. They are NOT clearly shown on the order.
In addition, the process to cancel a membership on their www is more than clunky and reminiscent of certain airlines' practices.
This is inertia selling at its worst.
I recommend avoiding this company and I will be sending gthe details to Trading Standards.

I don't usually write reviews but after reading them on here I thought I should. I have just made a purchase of £170 on this site , if I wasn't a member it would have cost nearly £500!!!! People on here complaining cuz they can't read the fine print... When you do your first purchase the website gives you an option to get the product at a discounted members only price and that's an option you as a buyer choose. It then says again when you go to purchase the items that it is a membership only price and you will be charged after 7 days a monthly fee of £8.99 (I think lol). They then send 3 emails over the following week with a discount code , and the others about the benefits of being a luxplus MEMBER. It is not a scam when the discounts and products are real and they have stated so many times about being a member. This is completely down to the costumer to not select the membership discount price or to cancel the membership within the week after making the purchase. I'm very happy with the site , as a member I get brilliant discounts which are even less then with my Sally's discount card and cheaper then lookfantastic! I'll admit £8.99 is a lot but if you're regularly buying a lot it works out in the end :)

I ordered a few things from this website,
It was saying "delivery 4-7 days" ,
The parcel arrived after more than 2 weeks!!!!
I would not recommend this site at all.

Unfortunately, delays sometimes occur, this can happen at any time to anyone and is not something that can be prevented.
Please also note that there have been many red days around Christmas and New Year which has meant that there have been longer delivery times.
However, we regret that you have had to wait and we understand that it is not fun for anyone. But we are glad that you finally received your package and we of course hope that you are happy with what you have ordered!
