I wanted to write a review specifically for Sophia. My 5 stars are for her and her care and consideration for my dad.
He has been fighting for repairs on his flat for a long time, and it was only when Sophia took over the account that anything got done.
She took the time to listen to myself and my dad about the issue. She has pushed and pushed for the repairs to be done. She has done more in 6 months than other people did in 18months.
She always spoke and kept my dad in the loop on what was happening, even if she had no concrete update she always took my dad calls or called him back reassuring him that it was being dealt with.
A massive thank you for myself and my dad (Clive Rose) to Sophia for being an absolute diamond! We appreciate it so much.

Consistently poor service from the get…
Consistently poor service from the get go nearly lost my purchase down to their lack of communication when i brought the property over 6 years ago. Regularly bills are sent late with no explanation. Called today to be told that their systems have been down since 28th nov 2025 today is the 19th jan 2026 when i have just received bill dated 7th nov 2025 . Bare in mind this can adversely affect the home owner when they are late paying service charges. Also previous bill was for 5p yes 5p with a chase letter after no wonder they spend to much on stationary & admin listed in their charges surely it cost more to send 2 letter chasing 5p & its pointless add it to the next bill. systems still aren't up & running & may not be until 22nd jan 2026 but we need to call to arrange a payment plan when effectively it is they who caused the delay. This has happened to everyone on my housing estate hundreds of us. Staff are abrupt & do not listen & interrupt when you are speaking referring you to the terms & conditions which are not applicable when they themselves have caused the breach. I asked to feedback to management in a civil manner on a previous call & was hung up on not what you expect from a reputable company !

DO NOT WORK NOR DO BUSINESS HERE
I worked here for less than a month and ended up walking out of the business. Whilst I was there I had 1 weeks training on how to use the systems and then after that I was left alone. When I say alone I mean no one spoke to me, no one wanted to know me and I feel like an inconvenience being there. Whilst I was there I experienced racial slurs, a complete lack of leadership and an almost child like environment where there is a group of people who talk to each other and the rest are left out. I then walked out of the workplace and sent a text message to my manager advising I left the business. It did not end there. I was then advised I failed probation due to time keeping and my ability, both were never mentioned to me before. I was advised I had a meeting and was told I had failed probation, which never happened. I have proof and documentation to back up my story and they had none, even though this was the case their HR department did not overturn the decision of a failed probation based on the information provided by managers, who lied. I would urge anyone considering a position at this company to AVOID AT ALL COSTS. I am nothing short of disgusted that even after I had left the business they still continue to make me feel the same way I felt when I was there, AWFUL.

Absolutely the worst property management service out there!!! Constant misinformation and mismanagement - SUNNY HAY does a disservice to the company. Hoping that my building take up the services of another management agent, these are real let downs!

Great service
I contacted LSH because I hadn’t received a service charge bill that I was expecting. We’ve had lots of undelivered post here. I was quickly connected to Sophie who explained that the bill had been sent at the end of November- no sign of it here though. She emailed me the bill within 5 minutes and also confirmed the amount due on the phone. Thank you Sophie!

Rude Customer Service
I rang 5th Dec and spoke to a very rude woman, didn't get chance to get her name as she was so sharp. I was disputing my latest bill as there was a charge on there for passed arrears when I've never been in arrears with my bills so came to a shock but there was no evidence of what these past arrears related to. She cut me off saying the bill was correct and the past arrears relate to 2026. Even though the invoice amount only stated charges for jan 24 to dec 24 and then included a larger amount in past arrears section. I wasn't sure how it was passed arrears when 2026 hasn't even come into place. She was so awful, I concluded the call then emailed the department on monday 8th. Just waiting on their reply and corrected invoice, hopefully I'll a response from someone a little more professional. I won't ever be calling the office again if I'm met by such appalling service. It's not what you pay your management company for. I was really happy with the company up until that day.
Leasehold flat sale
I am in the process of selling a small flat managed by LSH. Both Amelia Mcbride and Scott Campbell have been very pro-active in providing all information reqd by the buyers solicitors, well over and above the standard management info pack. They've both gone well beyond the 'extra mile' to help me, responding positvely and far quicker than the solicitors, and in fact helping to reduce the delays caused by them (the solicitors).
Word of advice to anyone in a similar situation, it appears to be 'easy' and 'standard' for solicitors to hide behind and 'blame' the management company for delays , when the root cause is down to their own slowness. Don't fall for it
