What is ‘fibre’ vs ‘full fibre’?
Unlike a ‘fibre’ network, which may include slow, old copper wire, we have a ‘full fibre’ broadband network. This means our FTTP/FTTH (fibre to the premises / fibre to the home) network connects our street cabinets directly to your home modem using fibre optic cables all the way. This is why our network is both "hyper reliable and hyperfast".

Very pleased with my experience with lightning fibre- the initial installation went very well and recently when the cable outside was vandalised, it was fixed quickly.

Excellent service when dealing with my problem
I got a very quick response when I called with a problem. Everyone I spoke to was really helpful and took time to explain what would happen next. I was offered an appointment earlier than expected and the problem was solved really quickly and professionally by a very polite engineer who took his boots off without being asked. Excellent service. Thank you.

Easy and quick to switch
Easy and quick to switch. The installers had to replace the old unit on the wall with their own and had to drill a new hole. They had to dig another small trench from their connection on the pavement to my property.
I wasn't expecting anything like this as the infrastructure is already in place but lightning Fibre cannot use BT equipment.
Despite this it only took about an hour and the installers were professional and friendly and took their boots off when they came inside.

Excellent service from the Lightning Fibre team when my internet went down due to a power cut. From the initial phone call through to the service engineer who called the next day and the office follow up , the customer service was first class .

We switched to Lightening Fibre today, Conor was our installation engineer. He arrived on time and was professional in everything he did. He clearly explained what he was doing; gave tips and advice, set everything up and made sure he left everything clean and tidy. He is a credit to the company.

Very Pleasant Experience
When I first contacted the company, I was immediately impressed with the great customer service. I had a very pleasant conversation with Ben who was very helpful in answering my questions. He set up the account for me and the office staff kept me informed with progress. The installation went very smoothly, and the cable was installed exactly as I had discussed with Finlay and Jacob who did a very neat job. I am very impressed with Lightning Fibre who seem to put good customer service as it's prime objective.
