Let me tell you this paint is top tier very good for them busy traffic areas ....just wipe the marks away.... most other brands say wipeable and washable but are not ....would highly recommend Lick 👌

Lick paint surpasses all other brands. I have used it in many rooms in my home and it never disappoints. The colour you choose is exactly the colour you get where in other brands i have found the colour can vary slightly. I dont use any other paint now. coverage is fantastic durability brilliant … i can’t recommend it enough

Original eggshell- awful to use!
Bought a can of standard pink 01 eggshell from B&Q and quite honestly the worst paint I’ve ever used as an experienced non professional. Sticky, dries faster than you can even lay off the cutting in so the finish is poor. Thinning makes zero difference just adds to the mess. And with 2 coats it looks nothing like the colour swatch (no discernible pink pigment in it - may as well have chosen a pure white).
Have used the max + trade version from screwfix in pink 13 which was stronger smelling but a better product to use.
I had high hopes as the brand and staff in their northcote road store are lovely and helpful but I’d be very wary to use again.

I have yet to try the paint but I was very disappointed by the advertising and feel as though I was conned. They have a 3 for 2 promotion but, in my opinion, the terms are unclear. I purchased 4 cans of paint and was expecting to get one of them for ‘free’. But when I came to checkout there were suggestions for additional items. I added some ‘dust sheets’ and ended up with a £9 discount because, you get the cheapest item free. This was not clear and when I raised the issue I received a terse reply. I then sent two follow up emails and received no response. Hopefully the paint will be good but I feel as though I have been misled.

This is the best paint I have ever used. I would highly recommend the lick paints. They are so easy to work with. A great colour range. My paint white 04 looks absolutely stunning- particularly at night with up lighters. It’s just so worth paying an extra few pounds - to get this fantastic and vibrant finish. SO disappointed! The sample sticker is NOTHING like the paint colour and it damaged my wall, it pulled the plaster off :( caused my more work and as sample isn't correct may have to repaint.

I bought 3 tins of lick paint
I bought 3 tins of lick paint . I will start with 02 white . I bought this for my ceiling when I started it was not white at all more cream . So not sure if I will finish it off with this colour . The second tin I bought was 06 blue . It came out a lot darker than expected and coverage not good have to give another coat . The third tin 015 blue is lighter than expected but it is OK. I bought this paint , because of the reveiws it gave . The thing I dislike most is the smell . It's very strong , I can smell it upstairs in my bedroom , I was painting my kitchen. On the positive side I bought the set of brush roller and tray . The tray is cardboard which is fine for one colour cant wash . The roller and brush are brilliant very pleased with them . That set was £12 . so that's why I only gave 3 stars for this paint was a little disappointed with the paint. Not true to colour and the smell for me is bad .

Impossible to get an accurate sample. £2 for a piece of card instead of a samply pot.
Card doesn't show accurately the colour. Went with different brand. Very poor and cheap.

Really disappointed and wasted a lot of money and time
So disappointed! I’ve bought matt emulsion Lick in the past, loved the colour and was happy with the finish so decided to try them again - an eggshell for a bathroom re-paint this time. We weren’t sure what type of paint thr previous home owners had used so sanded down and did 2 coats of primer. Well, the coverage is totally dreadful. We’ve done a small patch and we’re now on 3 coats and you can still see the white through (a lot). Also we ordered via B&Q and the first time Lick sent Matt emulsion instead of eggshell so it had to be refunded and I had to order again. The paint is also in an emulsion tin with emulsion instructions. Should’ve stuck with Dulux. Really disappointed and wasted a lot of money and time.
Also I did get in touch with Lick who asked me to show them, I did, they said they’d replace the paint. I emailed twice with my address and nothing happened. I bought a different brand of paint to sort it out.

Inconsistency in colour
Bought 3 tins of the same paint, same colour, same finish, however once on the walls there is a vast difference in colour. The first two tins a lovely warm finish, the second tin much lighter in colour and colder. They offered to send me new tins but means painting my whole wall again. Never had this issue with other brands before. Seems Lick paint cannot get their consistency in colour right! They will tell you to box paint all together but then that changes the colour altogether and is different to the sample sticker provided by lick.

A Great Matt Finish Paint
Really easy to order and the paint is excellent providing an ultra flat matt. Goes on well with brush or roller and dries to touch dry with great coverage. If you over order returns are handled really well too. Highly recommended.
