Excellent company to deal with overnight delivery arrived at 8.30 am and scaffold was easy to assemble with very clear instructions a particular thanks to Carly who handled my telephone enquiry with knowledge and was very helpful, very impressed

Item (scaffolding) was never delivered, waited a week. No reason was given why. Refund given.

Be cautious as we placed an order for a ladder with their next day delivery only to be emailed 2 days later to say they are out of stock and it will take 8 weeks for a new delivery. Mind you on their website they still continue to mislead customers by saying the product is in stock and available for next day delivery. We tried to contact them multiple times for a refund via phone and via WhatsApp with no answer.

Edit: in response to the below reply, we can gladly have a chat if you responded to my queries on WhatsApp, email and/or answered the phone instead of spending your time replying to reviews.

Edit2: BPS canceled my order after a few days. They also reached out today (a couple of weeks after the incident) to apologise and offer discounts to any other products I would like. I appreciated them reaching out, but I would still be cautious when ordering from them

Ordered 5m scaffold tower. Came next day delivery but had couple of problems. Two emails and some pitures sent to customer services and told that two new parts would be sent out.
The new parts arrived early the next day so what else to say but thanks guys excellent service and will recommend to any one looking for DIY tower which is well made and great for around the home.
Kept eye on the tracking email sent to me and that gave regular updates as to where the delivery was.

Ordered the BPS Deluxe 4m x 3m full aluminium anthracite grey pergola and it didn’t disappoint. Since putting it in place on my decking my family have spent all our time out there - with the rotating slats I can keep the sun out of the house, but enjoy it outside at the same time. Striking addition to the garden, ideal for eating and entertaining.

*Updated * Initially slow communication after placing the order, I had no idea that a delivery was about to be made, (but I had missed an email from BPS sent at 8pm!, the night before), the poor DX driver said "it happens all the time"..
However, they promised overnight delivery and it was indeed delivered overnight. They need to tweak their aftersales updates and communicate more efficiently, initially I thought I might have been scammed!

However. the product (a scaffold tower), turned out to be utterly useless, flimsy, unsafe and with fake Trademarks - if you are looking to buy a tower, put your safety & life first - undertake a PASMA 1 day tower course and refer to the PASMA website for buying advice.. I returned my tower with the help of Citizens Advice and luckily received a full refund.. Sadly the local councils (Bromley) Trading Standards took no interest whatsoever...

As you must be aware the product supplied is not only 'not fit for purpose', it does not match the description on your website, namely all the certificates you claim to hold are not valid or fake:

Your EN sticker on the components, under ID 111224480 with EN1004-1:2020 ‘Certificate No: S50469729 0002’ – which you claim to be certified by TUVRheinland .tuv.com

This certificate is not valid and would appear fake.. The TUVRheinland website states:

BPS Access Solutions Ltd.
Currently no valid certificates are attached to this Certipedia ID.

Additionally, the UK Patent you claim to hold, stating that your product is "manufactured to your own UK patented design (No. 2476305)". I have checked this patent and it is simply concerned with a ‘greenhouse having a system for absorbing sunlight’! Filed as IP on 18/01/2012 and its status is “Not in Force”. Again this is fake!

It appears from a simple Google search that the company who registered the above IP (Bode Project- en Ingenieursbureau B.V., Leehove 33, 2678 MA De Lier, NL), was closed in 2019.

How long before a serious injury occurs?

Ordered garden three adjustable legged tripod ladder and used for the first time today.
Excellent product and fantastic for accessing awkward areas when working around bushes etc.
Had to speak with Carly at BPS customer services due to a slight delay with the courier but it was dealt with in a prompt and professional manner.
Would certainly deal with BPS again and highly recommend the tripod ladders.

Delivery was delayed due to fault of courier but was quickly dealt with by the staff at bps . I purchased the large set of extendable step ladders for my gardening business. Fantastic ladders. Very sturdy and well put together. Safest I've felt cutting tall hedges in years. Happy customer all round. If I need ladders again I certainly know where to come👍👍👍

We purchased the scaffold tower from BPS and this was delivered when we asked for a date and time. Our engineers has broken off the interlocking clips and i have just purchased some new ones and Brian has taken my order and is sending them ASAP. Great service every time.

We’d lost the bolts and fixings for our DIY scaffolding tower purchased from BPS about 10 yrs ago. They found our original order and sent us a box of spares, the complete kit, next day delivery, at very reasonable cost. Amazing customer service, caring and efficient.

An issue with the scaffold delivered BUT customer services worked hard to resolve.

All in I recommend this company and would buy from them again knowing they won't leave you in the lurch if there's a problem.

I just want to convey my experience with BPS Depot as of today, 8th of August 2025.

Basically, two of the integral frames were damaged and completely unusable for my scaffold tower. This was honestly a big disappointment, as I couldn't start rendering above a bay window which has been leaking due to dilapidation. With winter around the corner, it's essential I complete this work soon.

I reached out to BPS Depot via their live agent chat feature to see if I could get some help on the same day. I spoke with someone named Corinne and she was immensely helpful. Corinne spent the best part of four hours trying to rectify my issue and replaced the frames for free.

Despite the initial setback, it's impossible to have a perfect user experience every time. So given all things, I'm grateful to have purchased and communicated with a stand up company with great people working there! Thank you!

I recently misplaced the bolts that secure the stabiliser base to my triple ladder. I contacted BPS for help, and to my surprise, the service I received was outstanding. Brian, the person I spoke to, was incredibly helpful—he located the exact bolts I needed, took my address, and promptly sent them out by post.

This kind of customer service is rare and truly appreciated. Thank you, Brian, and thank you BPS. I’ll certainly be coming back to BPS if I ever need any new plant or equipment in the future.

got a BPS 1 Leg Trade Master Tripod Ladders - 3.6m to work on hedges and trees and it's good. sturdy and stable but lightweight, easy to get to where I need to get to. it said it would come with a bag that didn't come, but I am not sure how useful a small bag would have been anyways

Very disappointed in both the product quality and the service provided by BPS.
I bought a concertina loft ladder from BPS in April. I bought the length of ladder suggested on their own website for my ceiling height. It is widely advertised on their site that they offer free delivery, however it cost £82 to deliver to my address. When the ladder arrived, the instructions provided for installation were completely useless and I had to resort to YouTube videos to work out how to install it. The screws provided were not suitable for the job so I had to go and purchase different screws. Once I had installed the ladder, it was clear that it was not long enough. I contacted BPS via their online contact form and received no response. I then contacted them on their online chat - they did direct me towards the page to buy additional treads for the ladder but at another £82 delivery cost. No offer to reimburse delivery cost despite the fact that I bought the ladder length recommended on their own website.
When the additional treads did arrive, one of the packages was damaged and missing multiple bolts/nuts/washers required for installation - I had to go back to the hardware store to purchase replacements.
Total cost for a barely functional ladder is £253.97 + £164 in delivery costs + additional fixings + 2 trips to hardware store.

I needed a 7m scaffold tower to work on my house. I searched a lot of companies who wanted between 1k and 1.5k for one. Then I came across BPS Depot. They did a 7m tower (5m pack with a 2m extension pack) for just over £600 including delivery. I was slightly sceptical at first but actually the product is excellent!
Light weight, strong and easy to erect (did this single handedly). The four outriggers that came with the extension pack made it feel really solid.
One piece was missing but the customer service was equally excellent, responding right away and sending the part out immediately.
If you need a home diy tower this is definitely where to source one.

I was after some spare parts for an old scaffold tower, we didn’t get it right first of all, but Carly Stevens stuck with it, and we got the right parts on the second try. Really appreciate the patience and positive attitude.

What an amazing company to deal with and such a helpful team. My order was delivered so quickly and the carrier they used was so helpful making sure i didn't struggle with parcel. really good experience from start to finish and will be using again to build up my scaffolding system.
