These agents are extremely rude and unprofessional. They invade tenants' privacy, impose strict rules on having guests and charge you for bringing guest. If you're looking for a peaceful living experience in a place where you spend your hard-earned money on rent, it's best to avoid this agency altogether.

Since our flat has been managed by Joseph Scott, Lincoln Leech and Daniel Farran have both been nothing but professional and very driven to provide nothing but the best service.
They have always been prepared to go the extra mile ensure excellent customer service.

Both have been very sensitive, attentive and extremely thorough about ensuring any enquiries, issues are followed up immediately with a positive and outstanding results.

They deserve a lot of praise and commendation. I feel very confident in recommending Joseph Scott as a managing agent on the basis of their excellent service and attention to detail both these members of staff have shown.

Adam will do everything he can never to refund any deposit paid to him and his houses are always in awful state. He doesn’t deposit the money with Tenancy Deposit Scheme.
Dirty water from other flats come into my flat (which is downstairs) and he claimed he doesn’t know the pipes connection in the house. He scheduled for an inspection which he never attended. He always claims he’s busy and wouldn’t want to talk to you on phone. He sent workmen to access the drainage through my kitchen, scattered the kitchen floor and left demanding I pay them before they fix it. And when you eventually move out, he’ll cook up all sorts of issues just to withhold the deposit.

I would like to express my deep gratitude to the employee Eva for her help in renting an apartment and preparing all the necessary documents. We had our house valuated by Joseph's and had an exceptional service. Adam and his colleague were very professional, polite and made you feel at ease. His knowledge of properties and the area is exceptional. He went out of his way to provide the best advice for our individual circumstance. And we were provided with some great advice. My wife and I have used Joseph's estate agents twice so far and both times their service has been faultless. First time was when we were selling our old house, which sold very quickly indeed and everything went really smoothly. We used them again after we were left a house by an elderly relative which we decided to rent out. Again Joseph's came through for us and in no time at all we were landlords (and ladies!) I have had some bad experiences with estate agents in the past but I just can't fault Joseph's for their professionalism and great advice, we will definitely be using them if we ever need an estate agent again. My husband and I, highly recommend that you do NOT USE josephs estate agents. We have found that communication is non existent, no communication or updates, my husband had to do all the chasing(note, we sold our house with them and was buying untill the buy sale fell through)!! Regarding the accepted offer on a bungalow, we received a phone call months down the line, after paying out money, that the guy had pulled out of the sale of his house, due to a change in financial circumstances. (fair enough right? No!!! A few weeks later we got another call, saying they needed some details to commence the process of us buying the house(that we had been told had fell through) we thought nothing of it and carried on house hunting. Then Friday just gone(Fri 23rd Jan) we my husband got another call of Joseph's, to ask how we where settling into our new home, a bit strange seeing as we where only selling with them now, but then she went on to say, I'm also calling to let you know that we forgot to hand you the spare Key for @@@@ close!!!! My husband said, we are not there, that house fell through months ago! So they lied about the guy telling them to eff off, he's not giving them a listing fee and allowed us to be gazumped 😡 so the bottom line is don't trust this firm

I wish I could rate them zero but unfortunately I cant. They market a good property for less. In the right move advert they did not mention remaining lease year. Before even viewing we query over the phone and someone responded "Lease 900+ years" left. We made an offer and our offer got accepted with a suspicious condition of paying 5k upfront. State agent charge seller 1k. It is not fair to charge buyer 5k upfront. In fact that 5k must be paid before solicitor process begins. We agreed to pay 2.5k upfront and started querying more about the property. Once we wanted to know about remaining lease year, The guy Adam stop responding. We called and he was very rude to us. End of the day he responded we don't know remaining lease year. Seller does not even know. Is this believable? No simply not. Their target was taking money from us and start solicitor process. If we pull out after knowing remaining lease year, we already lose 2.5K.

It is legal requirement for estate agent to provide full lease information. Property with shorter lease get devalued quickly.

This process is simply not acceptable. Be aware of them.

Having used Josephs to purchase, I can recommend their agency. The staff are very polite and nothing is too much trouble. It is great to use a local business that treats its customers well. Keep up the good work

This has been a very positive experience for me the service has been excellent from valuation to sale of the property. I can whole heartedly recommend Joseph Estate Agents to any one. The low cost and excellent service is a must . try you will not be disappointed

We had the manager out a month ago to do a valuation he was very professional and knowledgeable, he explained their policies and prices clearly and without any pressure at all. The way he explained his marketing strategy to get us the best price was excellent and made great sense, we have since decided not to put our house up for sale given the current situation but will be happy to use Joseph's in the future.

I WAS INTERESTED IN BUYING A PROPERTY AS A CASH BUYER. I BOOKED TO VIEW THE PROPERTY IN BOLTON. AFTER VIEWING , I CALLED JOSEPH ESTATE TO MAKE AN OFFER. I WAS TOLD TO SEND MY BANK STATEMENTS IN AS PROOF OF FUND AND ID. I SENT THEM THROUGH EMAIL I HAD AN EMMAIL RESPONSE FROM THE COMPANY TO SAY ALL PROOF WAS ACCEPTED. I RANG THE NEXT DAY AND THE DIRECTOR ADAM ANSWERED THE PHONE , I EXPLAINED I HAVE PUT AN OFFER IN AND I WILL LIKE AN UPDATE. ADAM THEN ASKED ME IF THE MONEY WAS MINE AND WHERE DID I GET THE MONEY FROM AND BECAME VERY DEFENSIVE, I EXPLAINED THAT IS MY MONEY AND IT IS IN MY BANK ACCOUNT AND SOME IN MY BUSINESS ACCOUNT, HE THEN SAID TO ME COME DOWN TO THE OFFICE AND I WILL SHOW YOU HOW I GET DEFENSIVE, I WAS VERY SHOCKED AND CONFUSED AS WHY I WAS SPOKEN TO LIKE THIS. I THEN SAID IF THEY COULD DESTROY MY DOCUMENTS AS I DO NOT WANT TO GO AHEAD ANYMORE. ADAM THEN SAID THAT THE BANK STATEMENT AND MONEY WAS NOT MINE AND SAID IF I PUT A REVIEW ONLINE HE WILL NOT DESTROY MY DOCUMENTS AND HE WILL COME AND FIND ME .
I HAVE REPORTED THIS TO THE POLICE AND TO TRADING STANDARD SO PEOPLE STAY AWAY
JUST FOR CLARIFICATION THE DIRECTOR SO CALLED ADAM ON COMPANY HOUSE THERE ISN'T NO ADAM ON THERE SO THEY EVEN LIE ABOUT THERE NAMES HOW COULD YOU TRUST SUCH A COMPANY!!!

Mohamed was very helpful and friendly. We were looking to put our house on the market and were in the process of choosing a local estate agency. He gave us sound advice and definitely contemplating having Josephs because of the excellent customer service provided by them during the valuation of our property. Would highly recommend them for anyone looking to buy or sell their property and are new to the housing market.

I am in the process of buying a property that was advertised with Josephs. Information they provided was accurate and factual.

My offer was accepted and Josephs were professional throughout. They replied to all my queries quickly and the only reason I did not put 5 stars is that I would have liked a floor plan and measurements for the property but I think this was down to the vendor not asking Josephs to offer this.
