I paid for next day delivery and the plants were despatched to me on 9th of April. 10th they were out for delivery but never arrived. Noone was in the office to ask about this at Jacksons until Monday. I emailed and got a sorry it was the Bank holiday response, except it wasn't. They were sent the Thursday after the bank holiday weekend and I paid £9.99 for next day delivery, not for them to arrive 4 days later after rolling around in the back of a van after failing to deliver. They get 3 stars cos by some miracle the plants are not dead. Never again tho.

I bought 2 potted acers. One was right for the price point the other one was rather small for the same price. I didn’t think the second one was the right value for money.
The issue was rectified and resolved with a refund.

I live hundreds of miles away from the nursey, and they were one of the few suppliers who had the specific plants I wanted. Ordering was easy(order number 154662) and communication good. The very decent sized and very healthy plants arrived when I was told they would. They were extremely well packed (took me ages to get the plants out of the packing box!). Very very happy with my purchase and wish I could have awarded more than 5*. I've already ordered some more plants from them.

Carol, Sharon and the team provided excellent service and the most beautiful bamboo plants arrived today.
Despite being over run with orders over Easter and the couriers not delivering on time, the staff at Jacksons were cheerful, patient professional and rearranged the order for me.
The plants are healthy, strong and packed carefully to protect them in transit.
I would definitely recommend Jacksons Nurseries and I will be using them again.

Another purchase of plants from Jacksons Nurseries arrived today. Very good quality plants, well packed and a very good delivery service. A great find for plants for my garden which is slowly coming together with replanted borders for year round interest.

I was very pleased to source a Mahonia Aquifolium from Jacksons. This particular variety seems to be quite rare to purchase. The plant arrived as estimated and very well packaged so received in perfect condition. I would definitely use this company again, well done!

What a revelation Jackson's nurseries is! We had a frustrating car journey there, so went straight to the café for a coffee and scone. Truly DELICIOUS; the freshly-made scones were still warm from the oven and (I'd say) the best I'd ever tasted. 10/10 to Tim, the café/restaurant manager for both his friendly staff and the lovely food.
Then to the actual garden centre. Even though it was February (2026, I was able to source the hardy Phlox paniculata plants I was looking for and also the 10 x bags of compost (Jacksons still sell the wonderful peat-based mixtures which plants LOVE) I needed.
Brilliant staff, superb plants and an unrivalled selection. No wonder the café/restaurant opens 7 days a week from 08.30!

Jackson's after sales service was second to none. Luke Jackson and his team certainly went the "extra mile" We shall definitely be using them again and highly recommend Jackson Nurseries

I was extremely pleased with my order for two types of hedging roses which arrived in less that 48 hours. The plants were packaged well and in good condition. They were of a good size with healthy roots. I planted them today and look forward to seeing great roses in the summer.

I visited Jacksons for a wreath making experience. It was fantastic, Jodie had loads of things to choose from to add to the wreaths.
We also had a cup of tea included and a delicious home made mince 😋.
It was a lot cheaper than similar classes but just as good.

Went looking for a Christmas tree and was very disappointed by the lack of selection. There were very few trees available, and the ones that were there didn’t look great. For a place that should be well stocked during the Christmas season, this was frustrating. Ended up leaving without buying anything. Staffed look tired and cold during this weather!
No Christmas feeling or spirt in the garden centre!
