They charged me twice by saying I…

They charged me twice by saying I clicked a box asking for an extra order (I was sure I didn’t) when trying to communicate to get a refund they tried to short hand me and it was hard to even talk to someone. I even had to reach out to them to get a confirmation they even received the return over 2 weeks after I sent it. I worked with Veronica the entire time and it was a horrible experience. I couldn’t imagine trying to get a hold of someone if there was an actual issue with the device.

Time for a Wearable Safety Device

I knew that it was time to invest in a safety device as I live alone. But, I wanted a nice looking "piece of jewelry" device and needed it to work away from home when I am out and about. The Invisawear has been the answer. I pay to have it connected to ADT, which feels much safer. I now have one in silver and one in gold. When I don't want to wear it as a necklace, I will either wear it as a bracelet or attach it to my purse. I know it works because twice I have accidentally touched it, and both times, ADT immediately contacted me. The battery of both necklaces have lasted well over a year, so far. Customer Service has been helpful (even though there is no phone number to call) and the price point is excellent for a safety device.

I dislike that after 1 year I need to purchase a new necklace I understand that the battery needs to be replaced, however having to purchase a new necklace charm at the same cost or more than the original is not acceptable.

When you no longer need their service it's
impossible to get verification that they are no longer charging you a monthly fee.
Also, they have NO public telephone listed anywhere online. Save your money and go elsewhere. Crappy company!

I am a returning customer to…

I am a returning customer to Invisawear. I’ve just purchased my second device after somehow misplacing my first one. I have always believed in doing what I can to stay safe. I am a small middle age woman and although I live in a safe community, bad things happen everywhere!!! I feel like this device offers a bit of security for me and helps my family know that if anything were to happen that they’d know where I am and that ADT would contact the police. I would highly recommend Invisawear!!

I do not like the fact that the battery…

I do not like the fact that the battery is not rechargeable, which means that a new has to be brought every year. I wish I would have known that in the beginning. When I received my replacement it was not connecting. It took me three time sending emails for someone to finally call me to try an resolve the issue. In the end another one had to me mailed to me as the one I brought must have been defective. Other than that I do like the sense of security I feel when wearing it. The second replacement I got connected fine.

Thank you so much for the feedback. When we were designing the product, most people said that the most important thing to them was the size. Unfortunately if we had made the battery replaceable, then the charm would have been double the size (close to the size of a half dollar). The feedback we got is that people wouldn't wear it if it was that big and bulky so we had to design it to be a very compact design that is sweat and weather resistant. This unfortunately prevents us from allowing people to safely replace the battery without damaging the product. Many people do love that they don't have to worry about replacing the battery and that they can get a brand new design after the 1-2 years. We are also looking into designing larger ones in the future that have a replaceable battery so that we can cater to everyone.

Jewelry only works when phone near!

The jewelry only works if your phone is near. What? That doesn't help. Any bad person gets rid of your phone first. Now your jewelry doesn't work.

Thanks for reaching out to us. Invisawear jewelry allows for you to request help in an emergency situation with just 2 clicks of your charm and is very discreet. The invisaWear charm uses a Bluetooth connection with a paired smartphone that can be up-to 30 feet away. Depending on the phone, the range can be much farther. It uses your phone's location so unfortunately it would not track the location of the charm, however it would still send out an alert as long as it is double pressed while still within range of the phone. At the very least this would give someone a starting point to start a search if necessary instead of waiting several hours for something to be reported.

I received my first InvisaWear necklace in 2020 …

I received my first InvisaWear necklace from my daughter as a Christmas present. That was four years ago. Overtime I have returned them or replace them for not working properly. First one went off in the middle of the night police were at my door. Informing me that my sister had got a message that I was in trouble. That one was returned. They replaced it. However, within a year it stopped working sent it to be looked at was told it had water damage. Even though I did not get it wet. Purchased another one again, returned it because it stopped working. Also was told it had water damage. Starting to believe they come with water damage. Lol . And I’ve been paying the service fee of $11.99 a month for the last four years. Needless to say I am now done with this. I did like the idea that I felt safe. I tested it each month to make sure it worked and it stopped working, that’s when I sent it in for repairs.

I think the back of the necklace looks…

I think the back of the necklace looks a bit fake and I thought it would also be silver at the back. I also don't like how I have to pay a monthly subscription for the app after already paying 144€ for the necklace. I think the necklace should be able to contact irish police also as you can ship to ireland and why should the necklace inly be suitable for America consumers ?.

Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. We promise to keep it in mind as we continue to innovate! Unfortunately, the back side needs to remain plastic so that the Bluetooth signal can alert the phone during an emergency. Metal interferes with Bluetooth, so if a jeweler were to plate it or if we had a metal back, the signal wouldn't be able to reach the phone.

A subscription is required to use the product. The subscription covers the cost we have to incur to have a live agent available 24/7 to alert your emergency contacts if an emergency does arise.

The InvisaWear device does work internationally. If you are outside of the United States or Canada, the InvisaWear would be able to send text message alerts to your emergency contacts informing them that you are in an emergency situation.

We are planning to expand the emergency service feature in other countries as well. However, we currently do not have a release date on when this feature will be available!
