I am a mid-career Product Management professional with an MBA, and a previous Faang experience, so the interview process is not new for me.

I used to do it all by myself and I now realize it’s not necessary and not even sensible.

Intentional Job Search helped me land my first Product Management role. Before joining, I wore many different hats in the nonprofit sector where I did work in advocacy, research, program & project management, and sometimes wearing a PM hat.

I had tried breaking into product before the program, but I would never make it past the final rounds of interviews and had trouble communicating a cohesive narrative and story. I had considered PM bootcamps but had heard mixed reviews, and thought there was a substantial risk involved. I also knew there would be a job search after a bootcamp anyways - so why delay the inevitable? The mock interview feedback helped me fine tune my preparation and spend my energy in the right direction (for me). There is so much information on the internet for Product Management interviews that it is easy to get lost in the noise.The IJS program helped me challenge my potential and then also helped me reach it. Before the Intentional Job Search program, I was a product manager and leader at Citibank. I had not changed jobs in ten years! My biggest challenge was I had no idea how to conduct a successful search for the next tech PM role.

I’m not one for reviews, positive or negative.. however, given the monumental shifts I’ve noticed in myself after attending IPM’s product leader blueprint program, I felt it was my duty to inform my fellow PMs to sign up for this program.

If I’m honest, I came to the program pretty broken, I lost so much confidence over the years, and was considering pivoting to a different career all together. After early success at the start of my PM career, I felt tired, unseen, not valued, not heard… I felt completely lost.. This investment in my product management career was my last hurrah, and boy am I glad I did it. I 1000% have my confidence back, AND was able to highlight my worth through TWO career moves during the course of the program.

You’ll learn how to tap into yourself, and shine as a product leader. The team at IPM has put together a very thoughtful program, one that just doesn’t focus on purely academic product content.. I mean let’s face it, You can 100% find similar content online, possibly even for free. But it’s how it all comes together, especially the mindfulness aspects of the program; that make a huge difference. It’s also amazing to be learning side by side countless other PMs, from a wide range of backgrounds, most of not all from highly respect companies.

If you’re on the fence, I get it.. it’s hard to shell out money like this.. but I implore you, to look beyond the he typical PM content that’s out there, and realize that to truly become a leader in this field; you will need to totally shift your mindset… THIS is that IPM will do for you..

Word of caution.. you WILL need to do work, what you put into this program is what you get from it. There is no magic pill.

Thanks to IPM, my self framing has changed dramatically. If I was unsure how to position myself on the job market before, now I'm in a job that I love and I feel like I have the key for future success. Thanks to the Intentional Job Search program, I landed my first product management role.

My roadblock was that I had worked in fields related to product management but never as a product manager.

Sam and Shobhit helped me tell the story to land this role. They guided me through the interview process, enabled me to improve my communication skills, and practiced my interviews until I was good to go! When I joined Product Leader Blueprint, I was seeking confidence in my skills as a product manager, primarily how I communicated and came across every day.

I used to take personal responsibility for every fire I was fighting.

I felt stuck in my career.

I thought I needed to get an MBA - that seemed to be the “well-lit path” but because of various personal commitments it was not an option.

Before I joined the program, I felt that I lacked the discipline to land this role. I wanted to find something that would give me a step-by-step approach to transition into product management.

I did some certifications, and they helped convince me that the product management role was the right choice as the next step in my career. I also looked through videos and blogs. Before I joined IJS, I was an accomplished product manager. I followed the latest trends in product management; connected to all the most outstanding product leaders in the community. However, I had struggled in interviews and failed many times to land my dream roles at companies like Google. These reasons prompted me to join this program.

I got structured feedback about my mock interviews week over week in the program. As a result, I was able to get input on structural problems in my thinking.

Previously, I had done packages of interviews from other sites, and it seemed that every time I was getting the same high-level feedback based on the first impression of me.

When I joined the Intentional Job Search program, I sought to transition into my first Tech Product Manager role.

After self-introspection, I was 100% clear about what I wanted; I sought out mentors. I was heavily influenced by Shobhit’s posts and felt he knew what he was talking about.

I recently graduated from Intentional Job Search program having landed a PM role at my target company, which specializes in consumer electronics. I arrived at IPM seeking answers on how I might be seen as a business leader vs. an individual contributor. I felt that I had made the strides necessary to master core PM skills in my role, however, my team members and managers still saw me as too junior. As a PM with more than 5 years of PM and 4 years of engineering experience, I was frustrated at not being able to get to the next level despite having the skills and knowledge of my domain.

With this specific problem in mind, I approached Shobhit who helped me dissect the issue over 10 weeks in the IPM program. There are SO many programs and courses about product management, that it becomes difficult to make a decision: "Is this the right one for me?" "Is the investment worth it?" "Will it help achieve my goals?".

When I joined IPM, I was skeptical like many others. I had no idea who Shobhit and Sam were, and I did not know others who were part of the program.
