A Truly Career Changing Experience — Intentional Job Search!
Intentional Job Search is so much more than a career program — it is a place where you feel seen, supported, and believed in at a level that genuinely transforms you. I entered the program hoping to simply improve my job search. I’m left with a renewed sense of confidence, clarity of purpose, and a deeper belief in my own potential.
What moved me most was the unwavering encouragement from the entire team. From Shobhit’s heartfelt, visionary leadership, to the incredible coaches who mentor with compassion and real industry insight, to the support staff who cheer you on in every milestone - you truly feel like an entire community is lifting you up and rooting for your success.
And it’s not just support — the program material itself is industry-leading.Every module is meticulously crafted, intentional, and deeply aligned with the product management career path. The frameworks, templates, and exercises mirror real-world PM expectations, helping you think, communicate, and operate like a strong product leader.
The interview prep sessions are outstanding — practical, confidence-building, and tailored to the types of questions, scenarios, and expectations top companies actually use. You don’t just practice; you grow. You don’t just memorize; you internalize. You walk into interviews feeling steady, prepared, and authentic.
But the most beautiful part is the human experience behind it all. Every coaching session feels like someone is helping you rediscover your strength. Every assignment reminds you that your voice and story matter. Every encouraging word from the team whispers, "You can do this. We’re with you!"
This program doesn’t just teach you how to land a job.
It teaches you how to believe in yourself again.
How to align your work with your intention. How to step into your next chapter with purpose.
Because when an entire team — from Shobhit to the coaches to the support staff — is standing behind you, championing your aspirations and pushing you to rise, something inside you shifts. You grow. You rise. You begin to dream bigger.
If you’re searching for direction, clarity, or simply a community that believes in you until you can believe in yourself again — look no further.
A deeply inspiring, profoundly supportive journey. One of the best decisions I’ve ever made.
I joined the IJS hoping to land my next role — and I ended up experiencing one of the most meaningful periods of career growth. This isn’t just a course. It’s a structured, high-touch coaching program that transforms how you think, how you interview, and how you lead as a product professional.
What stood out most to me was the clarity and structure. There’s no guessing. Every step — from narrative building to product sense, behavioral frameworks, and mindset coaching — has a clear process. And it works.
The coaching quality is exceptional. Each coach brings deep expertise and personalized insight. The feedback I received was specific, actionable, and honest — the kind that helps you level up quickly. I learned how to tell my story with confidence, break down product problems like a leader, and approach interviews with a calm, strategic mindset.
Shobhit is a great coach and provides personalized attention, whether it is drafting and trying out a different version of your resume or coaching for product sense interviews or guiding/helping through networking.
Another huge differentiator is the community. You’re surrounded by motivated peers and coaches who care about your progress. The feedback loops, mock interviews, weekly exercises, and consistent check-ins helped me grow in ways I didn’t anticipate.
I would also highlight that this isn't a magic job search program on it's own. If you follow their roadmap and do the work, this program will change the trajectory of your product career.
If you’re serious about elevating your product career — whether that's landing a new role or becoming a more intentional product leader — this program is absolutely worth it.
Here's a very honest review. I'll start with the good, and it's mostly good.
It's one of the best things I did both to find a job and to help my career. I went from no job for 7+ months to working at Amazon. I was laid off and feeling unmotivated after having a few rejections. This course gave me structure and motivation to keep going. It also gave me access to reliably getting practice interviews, which is really helpful. I tried to use other sites to practice but it's hard getting the timing right as you're get interviews. I really appreciate the focus on mental health and fixing your mindset. That's why I joined the cource tbh, it's honestly all about your mindset and confidence when you're starting your interview. So yeah, they will ask you to do meditation and i found it very helpful. It's not the main thing but a big part of the course.
The coaches were high quality and from big tech companies. They were tough as well, sometimes i did loose motivation because they were so tough but it what I needed to hear.
More on the negative side: 1) it's very cheesey sales-y at the beginning. I wish they were just real, it really gave me a lot of doubt at the beginning but if you get past that, the course and its coaches are very much real. 2) It takes awhile to get to the point where you're apply to jobs. They focus a long time on getting your "tell me about yourself" right and some other pre-apply prep work. 3) They completely failed me in negotiations, they gave me a number to ask for that was WAY out of the range so the company was just like "no". We should have been more conservative. NBD at the end because I got a way better paying job than I expected, thanks to the interview prep.
All in all, if you're feeling hopeless, not sure what to fix in your interviews, and want better structure and guidance, this is for you.

I completed the Product Sense and Vibe Coding workshop because I wanted to learn new skills around vibe coding and how to approach product sense interviews that include a prototyping component.
The pacing was quick, but in a good way — a lot of impactful information was packed into a short amount of time. The sessions were clear, interactive, and well-structured, with the hands-on prototyping work done outside of instructor-led time. Shobhit and Will did a great job of balancing frameworks with practical application.
My biggest takeaways were:
- Feeling confident in meta-prompting and building a solid first prototype I can iterate on.
- Learning frameworks that will help me use interview time more efficiently.
- Gaining a prompt library and structured ways to check prototype-to-product plan alignment.
As part of the workshop, I built two prototypes: one from the pre-work prompts that pushed me to create something cohesive across multiple stages, and another that brought to life a data labeling feature I want to add to my current project. Both exercises were challenging and rewarding.
In terms of value, I think the price was fair (though I wouldn’t pay more). I’d recommend this workshop to PMs at all career stages — AI is rapidly shaping both interviews and day-to-day work, and those who don’t upskill risk being left behind.
If I had one piece of constructive feedback, it would be to include more one-on-one time to review prototypes and ideas. Some people seemed shy about speaking up, and more individualized feedback could help unlock even more value.
Overall, this was a well-run, practical, and forward-looking workshop that gave me tools I can immediately apply in interviews and in my current role.
I had a great experience working with the Intentional Product Management (IPM) coaches to tackle a few key challenges in my job search.
As a seasoned product manager with 20+ years of experience, I’ve successfully changed jobs multiple times. So when I started looking again, I thought I knew what to do. But this time felt different. There were fewer opportunities for senior product managers, and a lot more strong candidates in the market due to post-pandemic corrections in tech hiring.
I began my job search on my own, but soon realized it was taking longer than expected to find the right opportunities. With fewer roles available, I needed to make the most of each one. That’s when I decided to join the IPM program.
Looking back, the program helped me a lot—especially with mindset, crafting my career story, interview coaching, and peer support. I was able to address three big challenges:
1. Measuring Progress: Practicing alone made it hard to know if I was improving. IPM gave me a clear structure to track progress and see how I stacked up against expert interviewers.
2. Telling My Story: I needed a compelling narrative that connected my past experience with the role I wanted next. IPM helped me shape stories that not only convinced others—but also reminded me that I was ready for the next step.
3. Staying Accountable: It's easy to fall back into comfortable habits, especially when the work includes outreach and networking. The IPM community helped me stay on track and do the consistent work required.
If you're looking for a new product management role in today’s tough job market, I highly recommend checking out IPM.
Great resource for structured job search and interview prep
IJS has been a fantastic resource for my job search. The structured roadmap kept me focused and helped ensure I was spending time on the things that actually moved the needle, instead of getting lost in non-value-add activities. The behavioral interview prep has been especially valuable — clear guidance and mock interviews gave me the practice and feedback I needed to improve. I highly recommend IJS if you're looking for a focused, practical approach to job hunting.
Great program - provides structure and support for PM job searching. Expensive but you will get the money back (and possibly more) when you are hired.
After spending 12 years in B2B Product Management, I thought I had my career figured out, until a sudden layoff left me stunned and unsure of what to do next. I stumbled through a few interviews, only to be told I had the skills but couldn’t showcase them. That’s when I found Intentional Job Search.
Joining IJS was a tough decision, especially financially, but within weeks, it became clear that it was the best investment I could’ve made. This isn’t just a job search program. It’s a makeover for product managers.
The structure, coaching, and content are world-class. I went in expecting pre recorded videos; what I got was a team who held my hand through every step. From refining my narrative to preparing for interviews and salary negotiation, they were always there. I was shocked by how much prompt personal attention we got, especially from Shobhit and the coaches.
The mindset work completely changed how I approached my career. I used to be scared to talk about my layoff. Now, I own my story and more importantly, I show up with confidence.
I landed three offers and ended up with a $100K+ salary increase at a unicorn legal tech company, doing AI-powered product work I’d only dreamed about before.
IJS didn’t just help me land a role, it was like a makeover for my career. I feel unstoppable.
To anyone considering this program: stop thinking of it as a cost. It’s an investment in your next 10 years.
Before I joined the Intentional Product Manager program, I was in one of the hardest chapters of my life. The job market was relentless. Within an hour, every listing had hundreds of applicants, and even when I made it to interviews, I kept hitting a wall at the hiring manager stage. Rejection after rejection started to wear me down.
And underneath all of that? Imposter syndrome, thick and heavy. After years of being a woman in product, I felt like I was constantly bracing for impact. I was tired. Discouraged. Alone.
Then I came across a post by Shobhit on LinkedIn. It said, “If you’ve been laid off, pause and validate your feelings.” Something about those words stopped me. It wasn’t the usual hustle-talk. It felt real. Honest. Human. That moment pulled me in, and that’s when everything started to shift.
Intentional Product Manager wasn’t just another coaching program. It taught me how to tell my story in a way that felt like me, not a polished version of what I thought people wanted to hear. And more than that, it gave me something I didn’t even know I needed: a real community. Coaches who didn’t just challenge me, they saw me. They didn’t let me quit on myself when I wanted to. They helped me find my confidence again.
I learned how to reframe the rejections. A “no” became part of the path, not a dead end. The frameworks helped me speak about my work with clarity and authenticity. The support helped me walk into interviews grounded in who I am.
The result? I landed a role I genuinely love at a leading AI company. It feels aligned, energizing, and like home.
But here’s the truth: the job was just one part of the win. What I gained ran much deeper. I started to heal, rebuild my sense of self, and reconnect with what makes me powerful as a product leader.
So, if you’re feeling lost, doubting yourself, or tired of doing this alone, this is the place for you. If you are willing to do the work, it’s a community, a mindset, and a transformation.
And honestly? The investment was worth every penny—probably more.

They are bunch of people out of job skimming others. Sales gimmick and nothing real behind them. Most of these 'coaches' don't know basics and are stuck in past. If they can help you land a Product Manager job, believe me they could get one for themselves.
Avoid these unsolicited queries from LinkedIn and save money.

I was honestly quite excited to write this review, because I have so many positive things to say about this program and it deserves all the credit in the world! This is the single best investment in my career I’ve made thus far, arguably a better investment than my degree. With this program and the expertise coaching, I’ve identified strengths I didn’t know I had, grown every product skills from strategy to product sense to communication and more, improved my mindset, grown my network across PMs in every industry, and gained significant confidence. I’ve included specific details across each realm of growth below:
Interviews/Offers: I’m in the final stages of my job search and have already seen incredible traction—far more interviews than I expected, even in this tough market. The program shows your unique strengths as a PM, how to build a compelling narrative around your “unique angle of mastery”, and how to effectively communicate your experience so you’re the right person for that dream job rather than a conglomeration of your previous experiences.
World Class Coaches: Each coach is excellent at what they do and cares deeply about your individual success. There are a wide variety of coaches with varying types of expertise and background and if you’re serious about product management, there is more than enough expertise to get all the learnings, resources, and help you’ll ever need.
Product Learnings: This program isn’t just about landing a dream job—it’s about becoming the kind of PM who excels in any role. Before signing up, I thought this program would be mainly focused on networking, interview preparation, and landing an offer. This program is that and much more. If you do it right, you’ll grow in leadership, communication, product sense, metrics, strategy, growth mindset and much more. It’s truly the whole package for an ambitious PM! I think it’ll be beneficial regardless of your seniority level because the program is so uniquely tailored to each student.
Community/Network: I’ve grown my network of PMs significantly across all industries and the community here is incredibly supportive, genuine, and talented.
If you’re serious about accelerating your PM career, this program is a no-brainer. Come in with an open mind, put in the work, and you’ll see firsthand how the benefits far outweigh the cost.

I joined IJS after not being able to land a job after multiple final round interviews. Through IJS I learned how to better position myself for Sr./Staff Product roles, how to better navigate the job search process, as well getting lots of practice with interview coaches building my communication skills and confidence for real interviews. I was able to leverage these skills into landing a role and compensation package I am very happy with.

I was looking for my next opportunity in the summer of 2024 when IJS reached out to me. What stood out to me when working with them is that in addition to the frameworks that they already have (and continue to update, in true Product Management customer feedback style), they are interested in helping you become the best version of you out there (not just for a PM career). What I mean by that is for me, they not only listened to what my background was and where I thought I needed to head next, but they helped me punch above my expectation to nail a VP of Product role at a startup, with different other job strategies in the works if I hadn't gotten the VP of Product role. In addition to that, I think their approach to Product Management in terms of all the frameworks they have is very helpful when we are executing on our roles (especially since the framework IJS has is a combination of the best of the PM frameworks used at all the successful companies out there that are customer/market driven). In that way, the value goes beyond just nailing the interview and signing on the offer! They also have a leadership program that acts as a sounding board as well as helps coach you in approaches to leadership in Product, which they recently added. I learned a lot about what to expect in my future career in Product based on real-world experiences of the coaches, each of whom has been through this grind of being a Product Leader, which I appreciate and think of as network of professionals I could tap into.
As the layoff impacted me, I was anxious and rushed to find a job. I blindly applied to hundreds of jobs on LinkedIn, crossing my fingers and hoping something—anything—would stick. But let’s be real: it wasn’t working.
I quickly realized the market had changed a lot, requirements had evolved, and I needed help. I wasn’t getting interviews, and on the rare occasion that I did, I failed to communicate my value. The whole process was exhausting and, honestly, pretty demoralizing.
Then I found an old message from Shobhit and landed at the Intentional Job Search Program—it completely flipped the script.
This isn’t just another generic career coaching or job search program.
The program focuses on finding your dream job. Personalized for what the candidate needs and tailored to cover each company’s requirements. It’s a proven structure focused on strategizing to improve mentality, explicitly designed for Product Managers to land high-impact roles. Here’s what made the biggest difference for me:
✅ A Smarter, More Strategic Job Search – Instead of applying to everything under the sun, I learned how to focus on the right opportunities—ones that aligned with my strengths and career goals. That made me take the opportunity to look for vertical growth in my next role.
✅ Crafting a Signature Narrative – Hands down, the biggest game-changer. I finally figured out how to not just answer the questions asked but clearly articulate my unique value so hiring managers immediately saw why I was the right fit.
✅ Flawless Interview Execution – The mock interviews and coaching? Next level. I went from stumbling through responses to owning the room, telling compelling stories, and nailing even the toughest product and behavioral questions.
✅ Networking That Actually Works – I stopped wasting time on cold outreach that leads nowhere. I used the program’s frameworks to build real connections—ones that opened doors. Also the community support made a lot of difference.
✅ Hit the Goal – The IPM team had told me it takes an average of 3 months to find a job. I felt that the data didn’t matter, but once I started focusing at the end of 3 months, I had 3 offers.
The result? I went from feeling lost and frustrated to landing multiple offers, including a Senior Product Manager role at Amazon. But the best part? I finally felt in control of my career instead of just hoping for the best.
If you’re a Product Manager struggling to get a breakthrough or want your next role at your dream company, stop wasting time in unstructured career growth. Intentional Product Manager is the best investment I’ve ever made in my career, and I can’t recommend it enough.
Intentional Job Search transformed my approach to job hunting. I entered the program feeling uncertain about the recruitment process and its timeline, but their comprehensive methodology proved invaluable. The program offered a structured approach that included personalized role assessment, interview strategy training, and both group and one-on-one practice sessions. The results speak for themselves: within just 2.5 months, I secured my dream position, successfully advancing in 7 out of 8 interview processes I participated in.
What sets this program apart isn't just the immediate results—it's the lasting impact. The skills I developed and the supportive community I joined will benefit my career for years to come. I wholeheartedly recommend Intentional Job Search to any product manager looking to make their next strategic career move.
A terrific program for anyone serious about professional and personal growth!
If you are prepared to put in the work and trust the process, through great leadership and an amazing community of coaches and professionals, this full package program will equip you with the mindset, intentionality, structure and rigor to have the product management career you have always desired.
Joining the Intentional Job Search program was a pivotal decision that I made in my job search journey. Before discovering IJS, I felt very stuck. Despite a solid background as a product manager with over six years of experience, I was struggling to get interviews, let alone progress beyond the recruiter rounds. It was frustrating and demoralizing.
What really stood out about IJS was the data-driven approach. During my discovery call, I was shown compelling statistics about the program's success rates, and that gave me confidence. I quickly realized that my current job search strategies—mass applying and hoping for the best—weren’t working. I needed a transformation, and IJS provided exactly that.
From day one, I saw how structured and intentional the program was. The coaching team helped me refine every aspect of my job search—from rewriting my resume with a laser focus on specific roles to shifting my mindset from “pick me” to “I’m the buyer here.” This was a game-changer. I learned how to strategically target roles aligned with my expertise in e-commerce and delivery domains, which ultimately led to two job offers in just two months of joining the program.
The interview prep modules were really valuable. I used to go into interviews unprepared, thinking I could "wing it." IJS taught me how to craft compelling stories, communicate with confidence, and show up as the leader I aspired to be. The difference in how I presented myself was night and day.
If you’re ambitious, tired of spinning your wheels, and ready to take control of your job search, IJS is the program for you. It’s not just about landing a job—it’s about landing the right job that aligns with your goals, expertise, and aspirations. For me, this was more than just a career step—it helped boost my morale and foster a positive, growth-oriented mindset. Highly recommend.
Thank you, IJS team, for helping me unlock my potential and achieve what once felt impossible.
After my company was sold in March 2024, I thought finding my next role would be easy. Despite my experience and decent network, I struggled for five months, applying to 75 roles without landing a single interview. It was frustrating and demoralizing to see many capable colleagues facing the same issue.
With funds running low, I decided to invest in IPM to see if they could help fix what wasn't working before my financial situation became untenable.
The program begins with an assessment and mindset session. Initially, I was eager to skip the mindset work due to my urgency to find a job, but I quickly realized its importance. You can't do much if you're not mentally at your best. Although I considered myself mindful, starting with mindset work was insightful and set a solid foundation for the strategy sessions.
With over 20 years in my career, I thought I had a clear strategy, but IPM showed me I was spreading myself too thin by trying to grab every opportunity. Once I set a clear strategy, the narrative work was fantastic. With IPM's help, I crafted a career narrative that positioned me well for my target roles. It was surprising how quickly my conversations changed. It wasn't that I lacked experience or skills; I just hadn't nailed the art of job interviewing and sharing a compelling narrative. This program highlighted the need to dramatically improve my interview performance.
Moving into mock interviews, I was stunned to receive multiple 'no hire' ratings from coaches at my target companies. They pinpointed flaws in my performance that likely cost me opportunities in recent years. With the program's support and peer feedback, I improved to multiple 'hire' ratings. My only regret is not doing this work 10 years ago!
After a few months in the program, I feel confident in landing interviews and performing well. I haven't tried other product coaching services, but IPM has been invaluable. After five months of nothing, I was securing director-level product interviews, often thanks to IPM making introductions to people on the product teams at my target companies.
I've made friends, developed strategic clarity, and adopted positive habits that will guide me in the next phase of my career. I just wish IPM offered a program for my friends in non-product roles.
TL;DR:
My experience with IPM was incredibly valuable. Their program helped me gain the clarity, confidence, and skills needed to succeed in my job search and evolve for the next stage of my career. If you're a product professional looking to advance your career, I highly recommend IPM.
