My journey back home!
I've been living in China for the past two and a half years. My first year in China, I was based in Beijing the capital city of China. During the pandemic I got stuck in Jiangsu Province. my journey was long and lonely. 2021 my best friend recommended Ignite Recruitment to me.I immediately got in contact with them and they helped me within the first week. I signed at BIBS/BIK two weeks after my first interview and they waited six months for me to finish my contract. During that time, the school applied for my visa and work permit. I'm now happily back in Beijing with my friends and at a great school. Thanks to Ignite Recruitmens. 10/10 for me!

The company handled the application smoothly.

There were problems - it dragged on at times but Kieran was able to apply just the right about of pressure at the right time to secure the temporary job. After I had been in the position a week Keiran took the trouble to chat about how it was going which was a nice touch.

Kieran helped our online English company in hiring 3 English teachers from the UK in 2019. He was easy to deal with, very direct, and vert transparent. The teachers themselves were very happy with how smooth it was going through the whole process.

For me personally, I contacted ignite and within 5 days I was signing a contract with a school in Beijing. The schools are typically a high standard and won’t recommend schools that have a bad reputation for poor treatment of teachers.

Many English teachers within China try their best not to use agents but sometimes we have to so I would recommend ignite instead of using dodgy local ‘agents’ who have no idea what to do!!

The first job I was recommended was actually the one I ended up going with. Other than the referral from the recruiter I pretty much dealt with the school directly which is a good thing I suppose. The recruiter checked up on me quiet often and even when I thought I wouldn’t get the job he spoke to them and cleared some things up and they sent me the contract within a few days (maybe he made them an offer they couldn’t refuse? hehe).
