We recently had our new kitchen designed and fitted by Howdens.

They were nothing short of excellent from beginning to end.

From the practical, patient, friendly and professional advice we received from Matt (yet never pushy or 'salespersony') in helping us make the design, colour and style choices we needed to make.

The prompt delivery in time for Christmas followed by the excellent fitting by Darren, one of their approved fitters.

We've now got a superb quality kitchen at a good price. Far better than we ever imagined or hoped for before we approached them.

Thanks to Matt and the Howdens (Garforth) team. You were a pleasure and a privilige to do business with.

Still no response from complaints department. VAT exemption of £1.606.08...

Nine working days ... how long does it take Howden Joinery PLC
to respond to a customer who received VAT exemption from all other businesses involved in the project... Why did they insist on full payment the day before delivery ...even though we had ordered the kitchen 6 months before...

Poor, poor and poor way to treat vulnerable members of our community.

How long will it take to respond to my numerous emails?

Fantastic all round from Howdens Swinton, Rotherham. Keiron arranged the initial measurements and Graham worked his magic. Went in to view the plans etc and nothing was too much trouble to change or add/remove things. Graham told us his appliance recommendations to suit our needs. They recommended a fitter called Phil who's done a superb job. Had a few obstacles that he overcame and was very clean and tidied up after himself. All in all a top job all round. A big thank you to everyone involved. A Credit to Howdens Joinery and I won't hesitate in recommending this depot to anyone on the look out for a kitchen.

The whole team at Howdens Wandsworth could not have been more helpful and accommodating.
The designer Jayne was friendly and efficient and endlessly patient with all the changes and tweaks, resulting in an excellent layout and design.
We were very impressed with the quick delivery and the quality of the cabinets we chose equals or surpasses those found at many of the more expensive kitchen companies at a very competitive price.
The appliances ordered through Howdens are all well known brands at reasonable prices and the built-in units give the kitchen an uncluttered and modern feel.

A really great and friendly team, nothing too much trouble. Indi was our designer who came round one evening and the design was sent to me by email the next day! It was excellent and only had a few tweaks to do. When we went in he was very patient with the different worktops, splashbacks etc, explaining the different types & colours we could have. Very thorough, knowledgeable and pleasant young man. Thoroughly recommend Howdens Grimsby.

We have recently purchased a new kitchen plus appliances from Howdens having already purchased internal doors. I would just like to say that everyone we dealt was fantastic, friendly, professional, helpful and nothing was too much trouble for them. I would like to mention Janet, Karen, Mark the manager and especially Lisa for all their assistance and expertise. I would recommend Howdens in Chester to anyone.

Great design and work by Carl Martindale. Nothing was a problem when changing design etc even last minute. Matt Garland worked so hard clearing and fitting. Lamona Cookers dishwasher etc are great units super.thank you Carl. Graham and Christine

The service we have received so far from Howdens Harlow has been superb, Megan has designed us a lovely new kitchen and took the time to listen to our needs and requirements and she fitted them into our design and went through every part of the design to make sure we was happy.

Well what Can I say apart from the service was horrendous. The new designer Sophie didn't have a clue on what she was doing all we heard was complete load of ........

Wish we had used someone else now !!!

Ended up buying kitchen else where as we had lost so much confidence in her .And we wonder why she never called us to see how we was getting on.

Small kitchen and no idea what to do with it. Carol in Barnsley branch designed the perfect solution. Too quality units and appliances. Would highly recommend Howdens. Now got kitchen of my dreams.

The staff in the Chalfont St Peter branch of Howden, especially Paul and Harriet, are so helpful. They go out of their way to make your experience with them a positive one. They listen to your views as a customer and make helpful suggestions that enhance your building projects. They obviously care about you as people and are not just interested in selling the most expensive product. It has been a real pleasure to do business with them.

Howden Worthing. We have purchased a new worktops flooring and doors from Howdens in Worthing and recieved excellent service from them. Emma was very helpful and made it so easy. The delivery was on time and we are very happy with our new products.

The front of house team Lee And Karen really know there stuff and are always on the ball when needed nothing is to much trouble.

My partner and I went to Howdens in Bangor to order a kitchen as they were recommended to us by a friend. From start to finish Mike, Della and the rest of the team were nothing but polite, informative and helped us with every aspect of the kitchen from design to fitting. Since then and with every visit they’ve made us feel welcome and nothing has been too much trouble for them.

Howdens St.Albans I have a few kitchens off of the at.albans branch and always ask for Bernie , she is brilliant at design and always comes within budget. Joe the manager keeps a well organised team 100% recommend

I recently purchased a Kitchen from Howdens Joinery in Maldon.

The staff were helpful & knowledgeable. We had a small problem with the cupboard handles coming , this was resolved with no quibbles.

They pointed me in the direction of a builder Anthony. He was a nice guy and tidy worker and along with John who came to knock down a wall and plaster have done a lovely job which we are really pleased with.

Unfortunately I did not have a good experience with Howdens...

I had a lady out last year to measure and give me a design idea, but she didn't listen to what I wanted at all and just sent her own (awful) designs. I gave up with her in the end as she was incredibly rude and not very helpful, and went to a different Howdens who supplied all of the units no problem.

Except - the measurements were wrong, so we have a 25mm gap that we have no idea what to do with. One of the doors had slight damage but they expected us to go and pick up the replacement door rather than deliver it, which we couldn't so we never get a replacement.

Now... We have contacted painters about painting our 'paintable' kitchen from Howdens, who have advised that they would still need sanding back, primed, and painted. Just like any other kitchen really. So I have lived with this plain white kitchen for a year when all this time I could have had any colour and painted it. It's an even bigger kick in the teeth that they do the colour I wanted at the time in store now!

The cherry on the cake is that there isn't much I can do about it now because the builders I got the kitchen through were terrible and I had to get a second company in to fix their mistakes.

I wish I went to Ikea!

We've had an excellent experience with the Howdens in Hook, designing and delivering our new kitchen. We worked with Lucy Spice from this branch, who came up with creative ways to make the most of the limited space that we had to work in. She was super helpful and patient with us as we had no experience in this area. We are thrilled with the final results and quality of the kitchen and would highly recommend.

John Waite at Stevenage branch of Howdens was recommended to us. He looked after us brilliantly right from the planning stage offering advice and altering various bits as we progressed through, nothing seemed too much trouble for him, even when we changed our minds about the worktops and added a new oven at a very late stage.
All the kitchen and appliances supplied are of high quality.
After the kitchen was finished unused pieces were refunded.
We did have a problem with the fridge door seal but when I phoned Howdens Maddie on reception was onto it immediately and the problem was rectified in a timely and most satisfactory manner. I would Highly recommend Howdens in Stevenage as a very efficient and helpful team.
