The heating oil club Bewertungen 

Placed an order with The Heating Oil club and was told their delivery company (Certas) wanted to know if I'd had my tank replaced. They've refused to delivery before and then tried to sell me a new tank!
My tank has not been replaced but and it hasn't got any splitting. I have spoken to them about this but they seem to insist that it is faulty.

I've have had may deliveries since they refused delivery a couple of years ago and no one else has refused delivery or highlighted any concerns with our tank.

Informed THOC of this and they simply cancelled the order!

don't bother - utterly useless and no help

When you complain they just delete your account.

The heating oil club uses Certas unfortunately for deliveries these nearly alway mess up. Take your money then when not delivered you chase up and they come back with stupid excuses why it will be 2 weeks late.
VERY POOR

Used 3 times now .. by far the best price around for oil and all deliveries went well.

When we have ordered through this company, they have in the main ,been the best on price & reasonably good service. As I understand it (correct me if I am wrong)They just collect the orders, then get the best price from an oil company.The last order that we had via them ,was delivered by Certas Energy/Butler Fuels..Any company which deals with weights/measures. Is supposed to issue a slip with a meter reading on ie; a start reading ,then the end reading, so one can check the volume that was indeed delivered. Though this is not the first time, that Certas have not given one of these meter reading slips.It most definitely is the first time, that we noticed SUCH a short measure in the tank!! Although we had our suspicions beforehand. So I called Certas this time round & explained the situation,They said that they would send a copy of the slip,To date we have not had any communication from them. They also in the past, have not communicated about when they will come/not phoned up as requested etc.This is not the fault of The Club?.But, if they do not rectify who they give most of their work to.They will lose customers.My husband ,worked in farming for the last 50 years ,So he knows all about weights/measures.To double check though,he spoke to the farmer who he worked for & who also has some of his deliveries from same oil company, Certas/Butler.When described of how much space was left in the tank,He too ,said that was not a correct amount, that was put in.Also, he is always given a meter reading slip?

Dreadful dreadful dreadful I’ll never use them again. They did not turn up with my delivery when they said they would and although they said they would let me know if they couldn’t make it, they didn’t. I had to contact them. When I did they were unapologetic and blamed everything on the pandemic. They couldn’t tell me a day or an approximate time for my delivery and then told me to stop complaining. I asked them to phone me but again it was too difficult due to the pandemic. Eventually the oil turned up and I have now made an arrangement directly with the supplier and bypassed them. I work for the NHS and am well aware of the pandemic and how it affects everything. I ordered this oil ten days before and was very close to running out but the person I was communicating with didn’t care less. I have no idea if it was a man or woman as they just signed from THOC. Very impersonal, inept and an inefficient service. Do not join their club.

No need to go anywhere else-cheapest I could find online.

Delivery by Certas a few days late, but no issues with this due to what's happening in the world today.

Quick delivery. We placed our order online and it was delivered a week later, it was not an urgent order so this was fine. The delivery company let us know approximate delivery time and when the delivery arrived, driver was pleasant and professional. We will use again.

Always the cheapest of the quotes I get for my heating oil.
When placing my latest order, I put in the comments section that my oil was about to run out.
I don't know how much influence The Heating Oil Club has with it's oil suppliers, except to say that they have received an urgent order when they pass the order to the supplier - they don't make any promises - but I have to say that I am extremely impressed that I received my order in 2 days....
