Omg...PLEASE do not order from this site. You are not going to receive the products/ gift basket you ordered. I order custom birthday gift basket with 12 items and they only delivered two correct items and rest of the items they substituted with items that were not even close to what I had ordered. I sent them an email and they asked my go to their site and read their substitution policy. So the conclusion is that it really doesn't matter what you order, they have right to substitute the items and fill it with whatever they have in stock.. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS SITE>

Great gift selection and customization options
The gift selection was great and I loved the customization options. However, I wasn't a fan of the money transfer process. I almost gave up while trying to set it up, but did eventually complete the transfer successfully after not being able to find better options out there given the short delivery time I committed to. Overall, I loved the product selection and my mom really enjoyed her gift.

Looks like items were picked up at gas station
Ordered a France themed gift basket and paid for wine & chocolate upgrades. What was received was disgraceful - half of the items looked like they came from a gas station. Potato chips & pretzels. I paid extra to pick a specific rose for the basket. A cheap red wine was given. Completely unacceptable.

My first time ordering from Hazelton’s…
My first time ordering from Hazelton’s and it’s been a very poor experience so far. I purchased from them specifically because based on what the website said at checkout, the basket was supposed to be delivered within 1 business day to an address in New Jersey. 1 business day passed and the courier tracking information still shows they haven’t received the package. I contacted Hazelton’s customer support who told me to contact the courier, and when I contacted the courier, they told me to contact Hazelton’s because no one actually knows or can tell me where the gift basket is and when it’s going to be delivered. On top of this the courier added they don’t honour a specific timeframe delivery service (i.e. delivery in 1 business day). This is very disappointing. I needed this basket to be delivered within the expected timeframe.

In some cases, there is a delay in the courier's system while the item is in transit, which can prevent the tracking status from updating immediately.
Because your order is already in the hands of the courier, we are unable to cancel or refund the shipment at this stage. Additionally, based on the shipping method selected at checkout, this was a non-guaranteed delivery timeframe.

A very disappointing experience
A very disappointing experience. EVERY item I had included in the basket was substituted with downgrades - cheaper wine, non-gourmet snacks, a different fruit (hard to believe that they couldn’t find grapes in the market so had to substitute with a pineapple). And they even substituted the expensive barrel container I had ordered with a cheap cutting board. If they’re not able to find the quality items one orders on their website even in a city like New York, then why do they even have them as options on the website? In addition, the delivery promises one business day, but my order was received after two business days. I was really excited to have found this gifting option online, but I don’t think I’ll be using them again. You think you’re gifting really high-quality stuff, but in most cases I’m sure the senders don’t even realize that everything was downgraded since it’s a gift received by someone else.

Gift basket for overseas order
Sent a gift basket to my sister in Texas (I ordered from Australia). It was delivered on the day I requested and my sister was very happy with it. The only reason I gave 4 stars and not 5 is because it was quite pricey.

Substitutions of everything I ordered!
I ordered a customizable wine gift basket for my sister. Of the 4 items I ordered (3 different bottles of wine and a box of dark chocolate truffles) all 4 were substituted. Customer service said that in the gifting industry substitutions without notifying the customer are quite common. Hard to believe they were out of dark chocolate - maybe the variety of wine I ordered, but the chocolate - come on! I will never buy from them again.

While our policy allows for substitutions to ensure gifts arrive on time, replacing every single item in a custom basket—including the chocolates—is not the standard we strive for. We understand that when you take the time to customize a gift, you expect those specific choices to be honored.
We are taking your comments to heart to review how we handle stock levels and customer notifications. We clearly missed the mark here, and we are committed to improving our process to ensure this doesn't happen to future customers.
Do not order from them!
Do not order from them! They do not deliver it to the door, only for pick up with Canada post, which made problems. I ordered basket to be delivered on the birthday and the courier only left a note for pick up on the following day! This is unacceptable! Do not use them! Their customer service does not help!
Spoke to Canada Post and they said that the sender did not use door to door service, just a cheap mailing to the mail box and obviously the gift basket can't be delivered to the mail box, so Hazelton's knew upfront it would not be delivered on time. You charge for delivery, so use normal courier services like UPS or Fedex and door to door, otherwise your service has no point. If you would warn me about this upfront I would never use your services, because we order gift basket with the purpose to be delivered to the recipient and not for receiver to pick it up. Shame on you! Your apologies don't help, you've ruined the birthday gift!

Disappointed
I am quite disappointed with my experience. I paid a fairly high price, and unfortunately what my family received did not match what was shown in the photos on the website nor what was described in the caption.
In addition, I paid extra for an orchid, but a completely different flower was delivered instead. The delivery was also much later than promised — it was supposed to arrive a few days later, but it arrived weeks after the expected date. Additionally, the cheese board itself — which is a central part of the product and even mentioned in the name “Wine and Marble Cheese Board” — was missing from the delivery.
I appreciate that the order eventually arrived, but it was not what I paid for, and the overall experience did not meet my expectations, especially considering the price.
