Under the Christmas tree gift basket
I got the gift for my loved one and I think it was a very good surprise. The quality and the presentation was 5 star, I take 1 star because I ordered exact delivery date but it arrived earlier. Other than that the delivery was alright and no food items were damaged.

Almost nothing was as advertised.
Almost nothing in “basket” was as advertised. Cheap substitutes were delivered in a cardboard box not “a classic wicker gift basket” as shown and advertised. I do not see how this cardboard can be an equal value substitute nor can the complete absence of the advertised mug be passed of as a substitute. There was no marmalade and a sausage was I assume substituted for a Brie. Not quite sure for what the bag of crisps and popcorn were substitutes.
Outstandingly disappointed with this poor quality very high cost gift. It certainly did not impress the recipients and I felt shamed for sending it when it arrived.

If I could give less than one star, I would.
Be sure to read the fine print carefully. If you are trying to send a gift to a loved one, there is a strong possibility you will not receive what you ordered. In my experience, substitutions were made without notification, and the replacements were not comparable to the original items.
When ordering alcoholic beverages—especially higher-priced bottles—there is no guarantee the recipient will receive a product of similar quality or type. The “like-for-like” substitution policy is concerning, and customers should understand that substitutions are made at the company’s discretion, not necessarily in line with customer expectations.
I would strongly recommend reviewing all terms and conditions before placing an order so you are fully aware of how substitutions are handled.

There was a great assortment of baskets to choose from as well as being able to add extras. I am told the wine is very good and was much enjoyed. It was delivered on time, actually a day early. This is the 2nd time I have used this company and I will continue to do so. I had a question and I received an answer within a few hours. Great customer service.

They deserve a 0, not a 1 star. I got a $50 gift card to use, had to either pay $50+ or find something less than $30 to avoid their outrageous $20 shipping fee.
I picked a 68.99 gift box and added 2x$11.99 sausages and 1x$9.99 cheese.
Everything in the order was wrong. They substitute products as they wish, claiming it's part of the "gifting business" and written in the Terms and Conditions (no one reads).
The $11.99 extra sausages are actually $4.39 bought from Aldi

Awful. At checkout, their cart changed the delivery address to my billing address. I didn't want the basket shipped to me, so I called right away. They said it was too late to change. A week later, tracking shows it has yet to ship. Absolute fraud. Avoid at all costs!

The packages arrived in a timely manner, and the recipient loved her gift. However, I ordered the succulent trio, but the recipient received an orchid instead. It’s fine, but I wish there had been some communication about it.
