We used Habito for getting our mortgage set up initially two years ago, and recently for a renewal. The service has been great both times. They make the information much easier to understand and their sites are easy to use, especially when uploading documents. Becky was a great help to us and went above and beyond to get our rate secured.

Robert from Habito has been excellent. He’s been so supportive and we can’t believe this is a free service. Really takes the pressure off of applying for a mortgage.
Update 21st October: through Habito it took 48 hours from submitting to offer!

David was great overall the experience was smooth and easy and I was able to compare multiple options. Once chosen it was easy to pass over the required info.

Everything was done within a day or two.

Used them twice now, both times extremely helpful getting mortgage, convenient and got the best rate. Becky who assisted was fantastic, stayed late to ensure we locked in a better rate.

Had an excellent experience with David from Habito. The speed of response and recommendations was great and ended up with a better deal than my current provider. I put off proceeding with the remortgage and ended up paying an extra 0.5% interest, so would advise you to lock in a rate asap if you use the service. The insurance cover meeting with Richard also provided helpful information, he recommended I was covered through work so didn't need additional cover. I didn't feel any pressure throughout the whole process, 5* service and free through Monzo!

Jessica has been absolutely brilliant throughout my remortgage journey. From the very beginning, she was knowledgeable, responsive, and incredibly patient in answering all of my questions. She took the time to explain everything clearly, provided detailed comparisons, and never made me feel rushed or pressured.

I chose Habito because I had used them previously for my mortgage and had a good experience, so unfortunately, this time around has been extremely disappointing.

I was also speaking with Mojo and L&C, and both warned me that Barclays rates were likely to rise and advised me to submit my documents as quickly as possible. I promptly provided the requested documents to Habito, but despite the urgency, it took more than five days to process them. I was then informed that the Barclays rates had increased.

For a mortgage broker, I would have expected much more urgency around a time-sensitive rate, particularly when the necessary documentation had already been provided. At the very least, I would have expected the risk of the rate increasing to be flagged and the application handled accordingly.

Habito were able to find me a mortgage that met my needs, despite the current state of the market. They primarily contact you through the online chat and keep you updated on the progress of your application, and if there is anything else they need from you that hasn't already been provided earlier in the process. They do try to upsell you on their legal services and protection policies, but these are optional.

I had a great experience and ended up saving a meaningful amount! Huge thanks to Joe Lavin who supported me through my remortgage!

I had a really good experience with Habito. Scott and then Kyndra were so helpful throughout, and quick to offer good advice, answering all of my many questions! They also responded quicklu which is important.

Becky was fantastic from start to finish. My circumstances weren’t straightforward, with a mix of employed and self-employed income, a buy to let, and a few twists along the way, including my offer price changing mid-application. When affordability no longer fit with the first lender, Becky went straight back to the drawing board, spoke to several lenders and found me a high street option within a day.
