I ordered a large steak pie online for new years day and can't fault anything. The ordering process was easy and straightforward and collection was also easy.
The steak pie was 1st class and worth every penny. Delicious puff pastry with plenty of lean steak and dark rich flavoursome gravy. I would highly recommend!

Website: to order was a bit clunky in places, had difficulty adding 1 particular item to my basket, had to try about 8 times in total.
Information on the product description could be better/consistent. ie number of portions or even dimensions of the large pies just so you can get an idea of how many people they would feed.
Food: we ordered the large steak pie, cheese and onion pie and meat & potato pie, we ordered them pre-cooked. All the pies were fantastic, really good flavour to all of them. Everyone at our gathering had a favourite. A real hit. One area for improvement would be to include some re-heating instructions as non were included.
Store collection: staff in store were really friendly, everything was ready and bagged for collection.
We would absolutely order the large pies again for a party/gathering.

What made my experience great was speaking with representative Rebecca, she was EXTREMELY helpful, nothing was too much trouble. I/we will continue to patronise greenhalghs.com because we believe, that not only are their products exceptional quality but also their customer service. Superb delicious pies from a fabulous bakery
Jill brought me down some savouries from the Greenhalghs 'Atherton, bakery on her recent visit to Bournemouth. The best pies I have tasted in years. So Scrumptious, so very tasty and fulfilling because the pies were crammed full of steak with a delicious gravy.
Steak and Ale, Meat pies and potato cake all very yummy!!
Highly recommended. Will buy loads more because they're too good to miss

Delivery guy at Salford precinct this morning at 5.30am on 26,11,24
Stroking a passers by dog and feeding it with food out of back of van and then after touching dog unloads the food into the Salford shopping, Manchester store without any regard to animal to food bacteria transfer.

I often go to Greenhalgh's Warrington as I enjoy their potato & meat pie and sausage roll, albeit they are expensive. I don't know if the baker has had an off day today but the sausage roll was too salty and the Potato & Meat pie was too peppery - my lips are still tingling! Doesn't anyone check the seasoning level on these products?! Usually this is my 'go to' pie shop when in town but based on today's experience I'm now reconsidering. Very expensive for food I didn't enjoy and didn't finish eating.

Nice food but how much !! About to place online order, but then checked other shop. Same things from local competitor are £20 cheaper and just as good. Why would anyone shop with Greenhalgh's ?

I ordered a few days ago for delivery tomorrow. Fresh food they claim.

My main request was several pots of black peas. I ordered other stuff to make up a delivery. I have just been told they have no black peas. They are going to deliver the rest of the stuff. £6.99 delivery charge for £20 of stuff I’m not particularly bothered about.

They claim they can’t cancel as it already been sent to the courier. So my ‘fresh food’, including pork pies has already been shipped and I won’t receive my ‘fresh’ pork pies till tomorrow.

- The main part of the order is not available
- the ‘fresh food’ has been despatched 24 hours in advance
- I’m paying roughly 33% delivery charge for the ‘service’.

Anyone want a ‘fresh’ pork pie.

What has gone wrong for the last few years is the quality has countdown but costs have gone up. The public think they are being ripped off and I think they are. People don't mind paying for something that is value for money and that is not the case with Greenhalghs bakery at the moment, and they are getting a very bad reputation. I wouldn't even give one star but it's compulsory.

I ordered a "last minute" birthday cake for my sister who is in a nursing home & was 95 on Wed 18 Sept. Ordered it Monday 16th Sept with the guidance of one of their very helpful office staff & received it on the morning of her birthday Wed 18th. Beautiful cake & first rate service. Would highly recommend them.

Why would anyone go to these? Such awful product with the worse quality ingredients literally just crap, Pound bakery are better but if you want quality for your money without having your pants down then steer clear and just go to carrs how is this even an option? Lol

Overpriced and ripping off customers.
Be prepared to re mortgage the house for more than 2 items.
Sausage rolls and meat pies always most certainly burnt.
Bacon sandwiches are decent though.

Well the products are good most of the time, but today Friday 13th September, I bought a meat pie only to find the prices have gone up again, so far the third time this year and the pie was only half full of meat restaurant was juice, if they go on at this rate people will stop buying from them or at least not as often, I mentioned the price increase to a big built girl in the Wigan market street shop and she said it won't stop people coming in, but I beg to differ on that as I believe company's get to greedy and customers will dwindle in numbers

I ordered for a deliver to Coventry on Saturday.
I had lovely service from Rebecca R as I had made a mistake with the on-line order, my mistake was rectified first thing on Monday and i received my order today.
Perfectly packed with no issues.

Used to really enjoy going for my sausage barm for breakfast, dint know if they have changed their supplier of the cumberland rings, although seeming larger than thd old sausage, they are now full of big lumps of gristle and to be honest has now put me off them now. Shame I used to really enjoy thrm for brekkie. Can greenhalghs please explain?

Just bought 3 large sausage rolls from greenhalghs wigan town centre. By 3 get one for a pound. Sausage full of grizzle and inedible. This applies to all three! They were disgusting and didn't want to give them two my 2 grandkids. Never again. I suppose it was my fault trying out such junk food. Should have gone to macs which I don't really condone

Been a very long time customer of Greenhalgh's and have always loved their Pie's & Pasties. If anything nowadays the quality has dropped slightly, the cost has risen significantly and the range of products has reduced. They have stopped Chicken Tikka pies entirely and, in my opinion, the best of all Steak & Ale Pie is now not only a fair bit over priced but only available at some shops and not the one I walk past every day. This is despite it being prominently listed on the hanging menu boards. The staff are usually quite friendly but all they do is offer the lesser Beefsteak pie instead. The pasties are also not what they once where and the 'best' (IMO) Lancashire Pastie is often not available. Sorry Greenhalgh's but Carrs and Paul's Pasties beat you on content, quality, taste and price!

Purchased 36 flat paste’s Saturday 10/08:24 for a garden party for our 50th wedding anniversary all the quests were delighted really should have purchased more. Everyone was delighted said they were the best they had ever tasted.

I ordered fresh yeast for my bread maker. Easy to order, I chose my delivery date and it arrived early that day, well packaged and still chilled despite hot weather. Bravo and will order again
