I have just bought a potato and meat pie. Only a trace of meat in it. Very dry. Very poor quality and poor value for money. Disappointed and will not recommend.

Decided try one of your steak and kidney pies. Overpriced but thought that must be for quality. I was wrong no kidney,no taste of kidney in actual fact no taste to pie at all

I ordered the large pies for a family gathering and they were perfect. Really tasty, served 6 huge portions and would have stretched to 8. I ordered via the Chorley shop and the staff were so helpful when I picked them up. Thank you!

Preston fishergate shop, staff very unkept hair left down not tied back over pies and cakes. One woman did not understand what a cheese and onion pie was. Staff just gazing out off the window no interest in the job at hand. Shop unclean dust on counter.. girls just talking about the weekend. And once served the pie was cold. Will never shop there again very disappointing indeed. Also no customer service skills mannners at all. This is disgraceful and staff should be taught hygiene amd manners 😡

I’m sad to be saying this as I’ve always used Greenhalgh bakery for years for pies and pastries ect. I ordered 2 plattersof mixed sandwiches for my granddaughters prom as I had many guests. The cost was high but it was more of a convenience for me. When we opened the platters the bread was stale the egg mayonnaise was disgusting. The prawns tasted weird the chicken and stuffing had a terrible taste to it and the tuna had a smell. I would definitely not recommend the platters but the pies and pasties are among the best

Visited Bolton store today. Pressured to order quickly when looking at the menu even though no one else in the store. Staff were rude. Got the order wrong. Returned order staff were once again rude when correcting blaming customer for the confusion, when really just to many staff got involved in a simple lunch order. Shame as food was nice in the end. Won’t be returning. Zero people skills and poor customer service.

First time order and all cakes were really nice.recommend this baker to everyone.just ordered another batch of cakes.well done to all at bakery

Amazing! Got my daughters birthday cake made her and delivered to the Bootle strand Liverpool shop , it was lovely!! Cake was amazing ! And staff in bottle strand are lovely!!!

just received my order and it's short . 1 meat pie missing somebody can't count, and 2 crumpet loaves several pounds down on what I've paid. waiting for a response but living down south it's a treat to have these delivered for freezing and disappointing that it'll be several months before we can reorder crumpet loaves and we don't have shops here in Dorset! disappointing.

I ordered the mystery sweet box and it arrived today! A great variety and well worth the £20! The products were packaged perfectly. I couldn’t be happier. Thank you Greenhalghs!

Fantastic service and wonderful products. The Cheese and Onion pies are full of flavour the Chunky beef soup is the best soup ever!!. Something for everyone!!!

Ordered pies they claimed was delivered. Supposedly left in a safe place. Look at the video. More safer space to leave the parcel. Called them to find out what happened. Met with a negative aggressive manner. Think twice before using this company. They obviously don't care about the customer. Sad really. I would also like to say. That I will not be getting a refund. It seems I'm not the only customer that has been told it was delivered and they had a picture. It seems from other reviews they have said the same thing. Basically they are thieves.

used to be a regular in Greenhalgh's in Darwen but I will not be going in the shop ever again, the quality of their pies has gone down they must be using cheaper ingredients the meat inside the pies is awful while the prices keep sneaking up the pies are well overpriced and to top it all the attitude of some of their staff is a disgrace one in particular very ignorant and abrupt so it is goodbye Greenhalgh's don’t they realise there are plenty of pie shops much cheaper

I’ve been buying from Greenhalgh’s for donkeys years. Still good quality but the prices??? Way over priced now.

Greenhalgh seem to just put the prices up whenever they feel like they want to i called in today potato and meat pie gone up again to £3.50 it is so expensive i will no longer shop in there shops anymore are they in financial trouble or is it just pure greed i think it is the latter

I haven't had a Greenhalgh pie for a long time because I consider them to be expensive. Today I was hungry and I decided to have a treat. A potato and meat pie costing £3.30. I certainly won't be having another. The filling was dry and tasteless, with a few speckles of minced meat. No gravy or moisture. The pastry was soggy on the sides and bottom, the crust a bit better, not much. I ate half and threw the rest away. Will not be going back.

Order didn't arrive. Emailed company but no response. Parcel arrived after 48 hours in transit. Not the 'fresh' pies I had expected. Wish I'd read other reviews before purchasing. Company emailed today (4 days after due delivery date) to say 'order complete'. I had waited to see what response was before giving my negative feedback.

Absolutely delicious! Amazing food and always a friendly service. I’ve not found a bakery that compares.

Their steak pies, puddings and meat pies are the best you can get anywhere. I always get them when I am back in Wigan, and do big delivery orders from where I live in London.
Over the years, I have had deliveries that have arrived late but my last-but-one order did not arrive, and I did not have any notification. I had to contact Greenalgh's, and was told they couldn't deliver that day, so I cancelled and got a refund.
Last Friday I had a delivery scheduled. I work from home, so was in all day but when my delivery did not arrive, I called the next day, only to be told they had a description of the parcel outside my door. From the description it sounds like it was my doorstep but alas my delivery was not there the next time I left my flat.
To get into the building, you buzz my number which comes to my phone. That didn't happen and no one knocked at my door. They may have a photo of the box on my doormat but I do not have any pies. I do not have a refund either. I was told they trusted their delivery company, so would not be looking into it any further. Looking through the reviews, a lot of people seem to have had issues with deliveries, so I think this is something they need to address, as the products are amazing but that's no use if people don't receive them.
I for one will not be receiving them anymore, as I don't have any confidence anymore in their ability to deliver, so will not be buying another product from them
