Easy to book, very friendly service over the phone. Very glad they aren't using AI to replace customer service. The only thing that wasn't great was that when the loaders arrived, they mentioned that LoadUp was just a booking site, and that they contract local companies to do the work, and then charge twice as much as the local company would if you booked directly through them. They said I would only pay the flat fee. But the company that ended up loading my stuff separately charged me extra to take an additional table that wasn't originally on the order. Just glad my junk is gone, but I wouldn't use load up in the future.

I had a terrible experience with LoadUp. They gave me a quote of $387 for garage junk pick up. Ended up debiting $454, without proper communication. When I reached out to them, they said one of the items was bigger than expected so they charged $175 for it (this is a 7 ft desk). Additionally, when their pick up contractor came, they mentioned they are typically not informed properly and denied to take the work desk coz of its size. It took 3 hours to sort it out with LoadUp. The contractors also mentioned they aren’t paid enough so they were reluctant in picking up stuff without LoadUp confirmation that took 3 hours. Overly priced, cheats, unhelpful staff!

Great experience!! Plenty of communication and clear up front pricing. My Loader Freisy called when he was on the way and was so nice and friendly. I will 100% be using this service again.
