Will Never buy from GoKarts USA again

A go-kart was ordered for my son November 2020. It was delivered quicker than expected so things were off to a good start. Once it was delivered, we had a mechanic (someone certified and with experience) put it together. It's all put together but GoKarts USA sent the wrong throttle cables so the go-kart is not drivable. My husband has been in contact with them multiple times and 6 weeks later, we still do not have the correct parts. We have been told that we cannot return it since we took it out of the box. How can we know that there is an issue if we never take it out of the box? GoKarts USA basically took almost $2000 from us. They have our money and we have a go-kart that is not drivable. The very least they could do is send us the correct parts that should have been delivered when the go-kart was delivered. Buyers be aware!!!!! I will never buy from them again.

Service is horrible

Service is horrible. I place an order on November 23, 2020 for $227 worth of parts for a used Trailmaster gokart I had bought. The status of my order changed to “Ready to ship” on November 30 and they charged my debit card at that time. It is now January 18 and I still don’t have my order, and have had no more communication from them. I have contacted them twice now and have not gotten any answers. Now I just want to cancel my order and look for the parts somewhere else, but am having trouble getting anyone to help me with that. One customer service representative I spoke with said I needed to cancel the order logged into my account on the website. I logged into my account and it does not give me the option to cancel the order there. I tried calling back in a few minutes later and then they were closed at 1215 pm CST. If you like to spend money on orders and not receive them then they are great.

My friend ordered a torque converter…

My friend ordered a torque converter from these clowns five months ago. Every time he calls he gets the same run around about how they are waiting for this part or that part to finish building the torque converter. I understand your covid stuff saying it may take a month or two but how many months does it really take for a torque converter? You have his $189.00 and he has a long list of excuses. Total BS. Buy your parts from someone else. This company is a joke. Sincerely

Miserable experience

Miserable experience, the worst customer service I have ever dealt with. Ordered a GoKart on 12 Nov, as it was listed as in stock on the website. It wasn’t! Through multiple calls to the most in uninformed customer service ever, I find out I will either get my order fulfilled on Dec 1 or 8th, still with time for delivery for Xmas. My order changed to ready to ship on Dec 10th and then another endless wait. I spoke with Customer service and they said they have no idea when it will actually ship, that it is up to the warehouse. Zero knowledge about what is going on in the warehouse. I called back on Dec 18th, spoke to a young man in customer service where he told me flippantly that I probably won’t get it in time for Xmas. My status still said ready to ship, but they have no control or info about the warehouse! I asked for a refund. They said they have to check with the warehouse to make sure it didn’t ship, and if not, would issue a refund. It is now Jan 9th and still no email stating I am refunded! In the meantime, I called my credit card company and told them about the fraudulent behavior. Hope this place goes out of business, do NOT buy anything from them, you will regret it!

Ruly in cust service & tech support is amazing!

I ordered a Taco Frijole mini bike in early December, I was afraid based on previous reviews that I may not receive my item in time for Christmas, I called customer service & was told I would get a call back with ETA on shipping & tracking info. Within an hour I received a call from Ruly, who promised the bike would arrive prior to Christmas & provided the tracking info. When we received the item, several parts were on back order & again Ruly promised they would be shipped free of charge as soon as they were in stock. Sure enough, within a week they were shipped & Rulu provided tracking info. When I had technical questions about parts Ruly got the info I needed & followed up with me. I don’t know what GoKarts USA was like in the past, but they’ve completely turned things around & I wouldn’t hesitate to order form them again and recommend them to others. Thanks again Ruly!

Ordered vk1 kid kart

Ordered vk1 kid kart. Took 2 weeks longer to receive than was told. Upon arrival almost all parts are loose. Front end is way out of alignment. Wheels pointing in different directions. Rear axle doesn't spin. Chain to tight. Sprocket not aligned with each other. Brakes are locked up. Not allowing rear axle to spin. Front and rear bumpers don't line up. You can't even bolt rear bumper on. Had to cut brackets off and re weld bumper. Very disappointing in this product. Highly recommend looking else where. Go ahead and spend the extra money on something better.

I should have read the reviews here first.

Ordered a go kart for the kids for Christmas on November 28, 2020. Made sure I ordered one that was listed on their site as "in stock". Have since received several email stating the order is ready to ship. But alas nothing has ever shipped and the kids' Christmas is ruined. Have tried the endless feedback loop that is their useless chat bot. Worthless. The bot suggests sending a text message. Tried that as well, with no response. Turn and run the other way rather than doing business with these people.

Worst company ever! Buy somewhere else!

Ordered our go kart 6-7 weeks before Christmas and here we are days before the big day and it still has not shipped! It’s been “ready to ship” for weeks! It’s hard to get ahold of anyone and when u do they are young and not knowledge and offer no details on your order. We offered to rent a trailer to go get it just so our kids would have it by Christmas and they won’t even let us do that! By far the worst company I’ve had to deal with. We are canceling our order and going to a local dealership, do not spend your $ here.

HORRIFIC CUSTOMER SERVICE, don't torture yourself

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I ordered a go kart and a motorcycle on 10/25 and they said the Go Kart was backordered until November 9-13th. I got the motorcycle but need the Go Kart for Christmas. They confirmed on 12/1 that I had nothing to worry about and it would be here before Christmas. There text updates are terrible. You sit on hold for terribly long times. When I finally got a hold of someone (Ruly), he had no idea that I received the motorcycle and no idea why my order hadn't been shipped. They said they had just received the Go Kart I ordered, but 2 days later and still no update, no shipping confirmation. Here is 7 days before Christmas, I have no answers. Ridiculous! Buy somewhere else. Updated 12/21- After leaving 2 messages with their front desk, several text messages, and emails, I received a text message saying "there has been a slight delay in fulfilling my order." What a joke. The lack of communication and the ability to get answers is the worst I have ever experienced. When I spoke to the receptionist and stated I had spoken to Ruly before, she laughed and said that was amazing I even spoke to him. Ruly needs to be fired. Updated 12/22, still nothing, starting the chargeback process through Paypal. 12/31- still no communication. DON'T USE COVID AS AN EXCUSE FOR NO COMMUNICATION!!!! You can help that! WORST COMPANY EVER! Update 1/7/- Just got my refund through the paypal claim. Still no communication from Go Karts USA. File credit card chargebacks and paypal claims. It's the only way they will get their act together and hopefully lose the ability to charge that way. 3/26 Your reply doesn't address anything. Even during the Pandemic you weren't living up to your commitments. I was told several times I didn't have anything to worry about as long as my order was placed before 12/1. No one would call me back. You don't deserve anyone's business. Your fake reviews to try and balance all the bad reviews coming in are pathetic. I read everything, your response is robotic and doesn't even match my complaint. Hope you go out of business. Your new reviews are fake.

Be aware of this company

Be aware of this company - they have the worst service and communication. I brought a part "in stock" and it took weeks of follow up before it was even shipped, to then find out they had swapped it with a cheaper product that didnt even fit (as the original was out of stock). To top it all, they wanted a re-stocking fee to return it - even though it was THEIR issue. Customer service is terrible and won't even reply to most messages. My suggestion is stay away and buy from somewhere else.

By far the worst shopping experience of my life. DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM THIS PLACE. Ordered a go kart as a Christmas present on Oct 31 that was listed as "in stock" on the website. Received an email a few days later that stated item was "on backorder" but would ship Nov 23-27. Of course it never shipped and when I finally got a chance to speak to a human being instead of a bot all I got was excuses and more garbage about how they don't always get to updating the website and there was nothing they could do to make it right. By far the worst customer service department on the planet. I would rather drive half way across the country to purchase something then order from this outfit.

Bad service/ not organized..

I ordered online in nov for a mini jeep-recvd email to verify my idenity-looked onlined for status , still showed they needed. i called and csr stated would note file and move forward. 12/08 i called as it still wasnt updated- they had it but said still looks funny to have a diff mailing add vs shipping- i told them why as 1 was a business- i ould send all doc needed.. now they said well, it will not be here for christmas, the rep had no feelings and was very blah-za . didnt care he said his word was all that mattered. then you can never get any help- constant delay for some reason or other. i ordered elsewhere with great service. this company needs help with speaking to clients. my order number 20216976

Terrible Disappointment

In May, we purchased the Viper200 Buggy GoKart for our son’s high school graduation gift. Already disappointed by the losses of 2020, we wanted to do something big for him. Kai is a developmentally delayed young man with limited vision. We bought this for him to be able to experience some much desired independence driving around our property. His immense joy and excitement at receiving the “on order” gift left us all in tears...
Only to be followed by months of waiting, no communication regarding timeframe, ETA, no offers of reimbursement, nothing... in good faith, we kept waiting and trying to get information. After all, times are hard and this company has been in business “since 1961”. We finally reached out to Better Business Bureau, who were also unable to reach them! They admitted to us that GoKart USA has many complaints on file for the same issue.
We might still be inclined to think that shipments are delayed due to the pandemic, if this company were not still ACTIVELY ADVERTISING THE SAME PRODUCT to be shipped within 30-60 days). The website is purposefully misleading.
It appears they took our money and moved along. Now they want yours!!!
All we want is an equivalent product or to get a refund so that we can BUY OUR CHILD HIS GIFT!
(Sorry for shouting, it’s been 6 months and no one responds at all.)
DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE. They will take your money and you will not hear from them again.
We are out $2800. Heartbreaking!

And...crickets! Posted to facebook. Next stop... we’re looking into it. A sad tale.

I paid 3200.00 for a go cart November 2019
It ran great the first few months. Then It started having carburetor problems I called customer service they told me it was not covered in my 90 day warranty. I took it to a mechanic he replaced it and everything worked fine. A few months later again it started bogging out and didn’t have any power. I couldn’t get it to go 18 mph. I took it to a mechanic again he told me my rings are shot might as well junk it bc it needs a new motor. I called customer service and they said I could purchase another motor. I refused bc I haven’t even put 500 miles on it and have had nothing but problems out of it.
Do your research before buying. These are China made and not worth the price. Don’t disappoint your kids like I did and throw $3200.00 down the drain.

I ordered my cheetah go kart

I ordered my cheetah in mid august I didn’t get item until middle of OCT they kept telling me order will be coming in next week then the week after until not sure if this was there garage or what but I received my item from another company BV power sports and freight was delayed a few times which was not the company’s fault it happens I’m just glad the company was legit and I got my cheetah put oil and gas in it and I was ready to go I’m happy with product so far glad I didn’t get scammed customer service was nice and responded to my msgs fast and I bothered them a lot I’m happy with the experience just know that if you order something be prepared to wait 2 to 3 months for it but they are a legit and decent site thank you go kart USA and sorry for bothering you guys so much but I’m happy overall I’m sure COVID had impacts as well thanks !

Need to order a replacement Carburetor…

Need to order a replacement Carburetor for the Titan Engine I purchased in 2017. Problem is, there is no way to talk to a person on the phone. All phone options refer you to the website. On the Website There is no way to get the part number for the carburetor. I tried a live chat and that was the worst customer experience I have ever encountered. The live chat agent was Zero help and told me to google the engine and try to find a part number. What kind of business is this? Website does not have a way to find a part number, Live Chat agent is zero help and can not give a valid phone number to talk to a real person. In fact the Live chat agent told me he did not have time to scour there parts system because he / she had other customers to chat with at the same time as chatting with me. Unbelievable!

Awful service

I was absolutely more than disappointed. 4-5 emails about my order before it was processed and then silence. All of the items I ordered we're in stock. I received an email stating that my order was being shipped separately. I received a tracking number for a package that contained 1 item of the 5 I ordered. After 2 unanswered emails trying to find info on said items I contacted them through their own text based customer service. I inquired as to where the balance of my order was. I was met with what I can say is the worst and laziest customer service ever. I ordered in stock items. I always do. It's the internet. You don't have to wait. They told me "any number of factors could have delayed my order". They took my money and told me to "hold tight" with no idea of when the balance of that order would be in stock.
Try your luck if you like. There are different and better websites for these things.
I don't know about you but smart mouth customer service and deception are a sure way to lose business.

Once again you guys are lieing. Your website never once says that dirt bikes cant be street legal. I wrote in my last review what your criteria on your website is for receiving an MSO and the bike you sent me falls into the categories of a vehicle that should have a MSO. IF you dont believe me then review your website statements. Furthermore, like I said before I do know the bike didnt come 100% street legal but that was never my complaint. Rather I made it street legal because it had the wiring to make it street legal by only adding lights. Finally like I mentioned I don't give a crap about California laws!! Not everyone is from that state and it so happens that in the state that I'm from dirt bikes can be street legal as long as the vehicle has blinkers, tail lights, a headlight, a horn and a speedometer which I put all on my bike. But I need an MSO. But you guys keep seeming to beat around the bush about my main complaint. You guys keep responding with how somehow my complaint is that it didnt come street legal when I never even said that was my complaint. My complaint is that I need a MSO because I made the bike street legal. Unless you're the DMV from my state then stop acting like you know whether a dirt bike can be street legal or not. You clearly have no idea about Jack. My bike is fully street legal now because of the addons I put on it, but because of you scumbags I cant license it because you never send me a MSO. Furthermore your one email you posted somehow states how nice you were to me and sent me what I ordered? I have way more then 1 email to prove otherwise. The picture you sent me of the bike that was supposed to take place of the Whip was another blue bike. But you sent me an orange one!! So please stop acting innocent. But anyway stop commenting to my reviews of how a dirt bike cant be street legal or that that was even my complaint. It's not. You clearly have no clue how the DMV works in other states so therefore send me my MSO!!!

Look elsewhere

Horrible experience, virtually no customer service. When they do respond it’s nothing but lies about when your order will ship. If you don’t know then say you don’t know!!! Placed order August 2nd for an in stock item, I even checked their inventory like the little note said. Was lied to several times about when it will ship, found out today 43 days after placing the order and being told last week that it would be shipping out this week that it won’t being shipping now until the end of October. Have tried all of the available contact methods (no of which include an actual person to speak with, should have been my first clue to stay away) and all I received was a smart a$$ comment back. Currently trying to cancel my order but they have to wait and check to make sure it’s not already on a truck.......but you told me it won’t ship till the end of October earlier today!!!! Not happy at all and will not recommend to anyone!
