I have had 6 policies with Globe Life since 2018. In February 2025, I took out small policy loans during a financial hardship. The process to receive the loans was extremely difficult, delayed, and one request was even canceled after submission.
I was clearly told loan repayments would need to be made separately from my regular premium payments. However, after months of continuing to pay my premiums through my bank, Globe Life began applying portions of my premium payments toward loan balances instead of properly crediting my policies.
I consistently paid my premiums, often doubling or sending extra payments if needed to keep my policies active. Between 2025 and 2026, I paid well above the required amounts.
Then in April 2026, I was informed that one of my policies had supposedly become inactive back in December 2025 — despite my continued payments.
After reviewing my bank records and Globe Life’s payment history, I discovered payments were still being redirected toward loans even while a policy was inactive in their system.
I have since disputed the issue formally and requested a full audit and correction of my accounts.
My advice to anyone with Globe Life policies: monitor your payment history VERY closely, especially if you take out policy loans. Keep detailed records of every payment and every conversation..

I have been with Globe Life for a few years now and it’s way easier to speak to a live agent Globe has excellent customer service every time I call As a Senior Citizen they are so helpful and patient They are a pleasure to work with
Biggest ripoff insurance i ever had and people should be aware of what you are buying and read all the small print and years on down the line. I was with them over 20 years and very disappointed in the company and not informing me on changes .ripoff don't buy from them
It's hard to get anything done on line talking to an ai is no good what happened to talking to a person

I have 5 policies on family since 2014
Last several months they have illegally diverted premiums payments and caused them to go into past due status,
I have called and emailed customer support sent copies of receipts and even talked to supervisor named julie to no avail, i have filed with difs in my state and if this is not resolved i will contact federal authorities

Thought I was going to be able to log in to my policy to check when it was due next; I could not log in due to Globe life claiming my log in info didn't match their records. I called the company explained my situation and had thought that my credentials were reset by the representative, (she told me it was all reset and that I should be able to get back in using their portal) but when I went to log in again, I was still unable to. Very disappointing and frustrating. I'll just have to wait for my next bill to come in the mail to make payment by money order.

I had to call them twice to give them new debit card info due to expiration date, expired 4/26. Globe said they couldn't accept the automatic April payment due to the expiration date (even though the bank AND other automatic payments worked fine). I paid April's payment directly to them. When the new debit card came, I called to give them the new information. 1 week later I received an invoice. I then called again to give them new card information and was told they didn't show that I gave them the new card information. So I gave it to them again. How can the original card work EVERYWHERE else but not with them? Frustrating because it took 2 phone calls, both of which took 30 minutes to get a hold of them.
