Max was personable and easy to talk to. Kept me engaged throughout the legnthy phone call and i ended up getting a more comprehensive policy in the end.

My mother passed in 2015

My mother passed in 2015. She had the same insurance company. They paid her siblings.
2 days after we buried her, we had a check-in the mail. That's the reason why I went with you all. Thank you very much.

Was getting sent this company's…

Was getting sent this company's information by my bank almost every couple weeks had to look into it at first to tell you your medical don't matter until you're able to sign up and then read the fine print which tells you otherwise but then you don't sign the final papers but somehow you because you accepted the one that you're think was giving you which give them okay to say you accepted everything on top of it go ahead and start building your account and when you tell him hey and that's not how it is they tell you pretty much sucks to be you

When I first started looking for life…

When I first started looking for life insurance I was so totally frustrated and confused I was ready to give up. I have no real family to speak of so I thought to myself just let them throw me out in a field and let me rot what do I care. But being a Christian I really wanted a Christian burial. Then I found TruStage and literally fell in love. They are such an awesome company. For about half of what everybody else was quoting me I got just this much life insurance with all of the perks that everybody else was offering as well. Not to mention that customer service is totally off the wall. They have the best customer service there is around. Every single person that I have spoken to at TruStage has been professional, knowledgeable, kind and the list goes on. Just this morning very early I spoke with a representative by the name of Lisa. You could hear the smile in her voice when she answered the phone. I do not know exactly how long we were on the phone but I would venture to guess that it was at least a half an hour if not more. I had screwed up my online account and was having difficulty getting into it. She was helping me fix it. I had messed it up so badly it took us a while to get it fixed. Living on a fixed income sometimes comes with more challenges than anybody should have to face. But Lisa was able to help me get around that obstacle when it came to my life insurance policy and my payment. I had always had it scheduled for the 25th but when I changed my bank SSA managed to change my pay date from the third Friday of the month to the 4th Friday of the month. Which really messed with my finances big time. My life insurance I hope is the last thing I had to straighten out. In the post call survey I told them that Lisa deserves a raise and I meant it with every fiber of my being. She was professional, knowledgeable, patient, kind and oh so pleasant to talk to. So Lisa I hope that you get to read the reviews and I hope you get to listen to what I said on that post call survey. And if anybody is on the fence about purchasing life insurance from TruStage don't be. They will save you money and still give you a high quality product in exchange. Their customer service is by far the best you are going to find in that industry bar none. You will not be sorry if you choose this company over all of the rest out there vying for your business.

Waste of money/denial central

Waste of money, don't ever purchase their credit disability or life insurance. They will make you jump through months worth of hoops just to be denied, which is the whole point of insurance, right? Waste money paying for something monthly just for them not to pay out when it matters most. Useless company.

Losing our father was hard...

Losing our father was hard. He did his part to prepare us. He reviewed his policies and made sure we understood his wishes.

Every company honored that. Every policy paid within weeks with a death certificate and basic documentation. Except TruStage.

It has been over 5 months. We still have no resolution. We completed every request. Questionnaires. Affidavits. Medical forms. This is despite the fact that no medical review was required when the policy was issued.

My father paid on time for years. Not one missed payment. He served his country as a military veteran and took care of his family. TruStage has not done the same.

Customer service is poor. Communication is inconsistent. There is no clear accountability.

Avoid this company. Save yourself the frustration. We are still waiting, and we will continue to push until this is resolved.
