It is the first time that l have come in contact with FMG and have been impressed by everyone l have come in contact,either meeting or received text messages. I believe this Company and Staff are first class in everyway

Apart from longer than expected delays in the Repair shop obtaining all necessary parts everything else provided a good service. Courtesy car in good condition and office staff Cath and Emma both very helpful.

The repair is of good quality.
Otherwise the customer service was sketchy at best. When I rang to return their call they did not answer the phone for 2 hours after which it switched off with a msg saying we're now shut. Rang head office, left a VM and to date they've never come back to me.

I am genuinely impressed by the level of service I received from this company. It is rare to encounter such high standards, especially from a UK-based organisation. The customer service team was exceptionally friendly and attentive, the compensation offered was fair and reasonable, and what stood out most was the care and professionalism with which the entire process was handled.

Following a small scraping bump from another vehicle, my insurers passed the repair work over to FMG. They were excellent in doing a first class job in putting things right, and everything completed in less than one day. Many thanks to John for collecting my car and returning it after repair.

After a small accident my car was taken to FMG Ellesmere Port. My car was picked up from home and a courtesy car left with me. When the car repair was finished my car was returned and the courtesy car picked up. What a fantastic service.
My car has been repaired to a high standard, cleaned and polished before returning it.
All the staff I dealt with were knowledgeable, polite and friendly. The repair was completed slightly quicker than originally estimated.
Overall an excellent service, well done FMG Ellesmere Port.

FMG dealt with everything after my van needed to go in for repair after a minor incident.... everyone involved was very helpful and kept me informed from start to finish....was given a courtesy van to keep me on the road and working while mine was being repaired....the work carried out was first class and couldn't fault anything.Would definitely recommend...thanks to all involved

After a hit-and-run accident, I clearly told FMG Leeds that my car was not drivable. They returned it to me having only repaired the bodywork and admitted they did not check the engine or mechanical components.

Before the accident, the car had recently passed its MOT and been fully serviced — no engine noise, no warning lights. Immediately after collection, there was a loud engine noise and multiple malfunction warnings on the dashboard.

Returning a vehicle in that condition is unsafe and shows a serious lack of competence and care. Communication was equally poor — nearly impossible to reach by phone and very difficult to get updates.

I would strongly advise others to think twice before trusting them with their vehicle.

The engagement started well after I hit a deer - with the damage not too bad. The reporting was quick and I sent pictures along with the insurers approving repairs in a couple of days. This is where it started to go wrong and focuses on FMG Falkirk.
Short Summary
- 3 month wait for repairs to commence due to requiring a courtesy car (yes, really).
- almost zero communications in the meantime.
- repair took 8 days with a requirement to pay excess before car could be inspected by me for quality of repair.
- Car returned with sub par repair - paint swirls, broken wheel arch liner not replaced, white polish in parking sensors.
- Refused to accept car back
FInally returned another 4 days later repaired properly.
FMG claim a 5 star rating, I have no idea how based on my experience.
I was forced to use them by my lease/insurer otherwise I'd have gone elsewhere.
The staff weren't rude or aggressive, it was just a poor, long drawn out experience. I've experienced repairs from other providers in the past of under 5 days, so know what good looks like.
