Awful customer support

Good products, but awful customer support.

They created a problem with their partner Sameday and my package with old phone that I was sending to them in order to sell it, was lost. Even though I sent explanations on email and chat, they told me they can't do anything until Sameday finds my package. Sameday of course doesn't care and said to wait 30 days and extra 60 if they can't solve it. Also, I have to wait 20 days for the payment from Flip, so here I am without the old phone, without the payment and everybody saying that they can't do anything.

I explained very clearly how we got in this situation and that the problem was created by Flip and Sameday together, and I asked politely to give me my money for the phone and after they can wait the package from Sameday. Of course, they didn't even bothered to offer a response or an alternative solution.

Also, in December one of the colleagues from customer support was nice and agreed to call me in order to explain the situation and in January another colleague was awfully rude in telling me they don't provide phone support, just text on chat or email. Really Flip? In 2025 you don't offer phone support? Worse experience ever in selling a product.

In continuarea discutiei telefonice, revin cu acest raspuns catre tine in ceea ce priveste solicitarea de vanzare.

Regretam situatia intampinata si te asiguram ca facem tot posibilul ca experienta clientilor nostri sa fie una placuta!

Plata vanzarii a fost procesata astazi, in jurul orelor 11, urmatoarea zi lucratoare, data de 8.12 fiind zi nelucratoare, iar termenii initiali au fost respectati!

Hotie pe fata

Hoti. Am trimis un telefon in perfecta stare cu folie de protectie si mi l-au evaluat la 100lei cu folie de protectie de schimbat la 180lei ?!?!? Really folie de protectie ?!?!?! Si in poza se vede ca e folia. Va rog puneti pozele sa vada lumea pt ce ati scazut 70% din valoarea telefonului si fiecare va decide daca am sau nu dreptate.

Ne pare rau sa aflam ca experienta avuta nu s-a ridicat la nivelul asteptarilor tale!

Intrucat nu ai dat curs incercarii noastre de a clarifica situatia intampinata prin apelul telefonic avut, vom reveni aici cu un raspuns!

De indata ce am receptionat telefonul tau in service, acestuia i-a fost eliminata folia de protectie de pe ecran si a fost inspectat tehnic printr-o aplicatie de testare si estetic de catre tehnicienii nostri.

In momentul testarii s-a identificat faptul ca pe marginea display-ului erau prezente niste urme de exfoliere iar display-ul necesita inlocuire.
Intrucat a existat o nelamurire cu privire la exfolierea respectiva, a fost comunicat de catre colegii nostri faptul ca aceasta era prezenta pe display si nu pe folia de protectie.

In acest moment, oferta a fost respinsa si telefonul este in curs de pregatire pentru expediere!

Am lucrat pentru ei anul trecut. A fost cea mai umilitoare experienta pe care as fi putut-o avea ca om in viata mea (in cei 15 ani de cand sunt in campul muncii) .

Prima data, au inceput sa imi spioneze telefonul prin sotia unuia dintre managerii din Firma, adica viata privata nu am avut. Apoi orice faceam in timpul meu liber era subiect de discutie in firma a2a zi....ii auzeam si vedeam cum vorbesc despre mine si tabieturile mele PERSONALE din casa (imi palce sa stau in maciuca goala intre peretii mei si sa dorm la fel, atata vreme cat sunt doar eu in casa, cred ca pot face asta fara ncii o discutie)....dar sa vorbesti despre mine in timpul programului cand sunt la serviciu despre mine, si daca o am sculata sau alte lucruri...mi se pare de o lipsa totalmente de respect fata de propriile lor persoane in primul rand si apoi fata de mine ca om.

A 2-a oara, au inceput sa imi cotrobaie prin sertarele de la firma, insinuand ca am furat din firma lor . Eu nu am luat o scobitoare de la cineva fara sa nu ii spun despre asta, dapai sa fur un display sau alte materiale pentru ca provin dintr-o familie cu bun simt si am cei 7 ani de acasa facuti intensiv.

A3a oara, i-am spus unui alt coleg (ca si cacealma) ca am salariu de 4500 de lei pe luna si ar trebui sa vorbeasca cu sefii sa ii mareasca si lui salariu daca vrea mai multi bani....au facut sedinta pentru chestia asta, fiind toti sefii si atragandu-mi atentia despre faptul ca salariu este confidential refuzand sa aplice regulamentul European in privinta confidentialitatii salariul si a planului salarial pe care un angajat il are intr-o firma.

A4a chestie nasoala despre aceasta firma condusa de niste magari impertinenti este faptul ca daca iti spui punctul de vedere, ideea ta este ori luata in ras, ori vei marginalizat.

Al 5 Lea lucru: intr-o zi normala de lucru, dupa multe barfe la adresa mea, am decis sa ies la tigara afara...sa imi stapanesc nervii...in acel moment baiatul de la HR imi spune fara nici un fel de scrupule si fara nici un fel de rusine, ca "daca love yourself inseamna sa te masturbezi". WTF?(voiam sa il intreb despre orientarile lui sexuale, dar m-am abtinut pt ca nu este treaba mea asta)

Al 6 lea lucru intamplat aici, dupa ce am plecat din firma si mi-am vazut de treaba (adica am emigrat ca in Romania nu este de stat pentru ca ..... nu cred ca mai am nevoie de justificare la ce se intampla zilnic acolo.... am primit notificare din partea celor de la ANAF cum eu cat timp am lucrat la Flip. ro nu mi-am platit taxele....A trebuit sa imi pierd timpul si energia, sa vorbesc cu avocati si sa vorbesc cu Angajatii acestei firme astfel incat sa imi dea in scris ca am cotizat la stat in timpul in care am fost angajat la ei.

Cat despre telefoane....bateriile sunt sudate (nu sunt originale), display-urile sunt originale dar schimbate sticlele la ele, si transferate cipurile de la display-urile vechi pe cele noi, astfel incat sa nu va apara erori ca display-ul nu este cel original.

Daca as da timpul inapoi, cu siguranta as fi facut plangere la politie pentru tratament discriminatoriu, privare de viata privata, furt de date electronice .

asta e flip: bine ai venit, rau ai nimeri.

Si daca as putea sa intorc timpul inapoi, nici in cel mai umed vis al lor nu m-as fi angajat la ei.

Nu cred ca merita cineva sa traiasca in barfa, umilita, injoseli 6 luni de zile. De aceea va spun: ganditi-va bine unde va angajati si ce suportati ...s-ar putea ca unii angajati sunt lipsiti totalmente de orice forma de bun simt si s-au trezit din cotet in societate.

PS: nu am fost singurul caz din firma aia.....Bullying-ul este ceva la ordinea zilei. este tolerat de catre conduce, ba chiar promovat de catre cei din conducere.

Aveți grijă…

Umblă în telefoane și le schimbă componentele din telefon cu unele uzate... Am avut un prieten care și-a comandat de la ei de două ori, două telefoane Samsung și la amândouă aveau antena și WiFi-ul care nu prindea semnal cum trebuie...

Telefoanele pe care le receptionam spre vanzare nu sunt "desfacute" si nu li se inlocuiesc componente decat in situatia in care clientul isi exprima acordul prin acceptarea ofertei.

De asemenea, in situatiile in care reconditionarea unui dispozitiv presupune inlocuirea unor componente, acestea vor fi noi, fara ca ele sa fi fost utilizate in trecut.

Dorim sa il asistam pe prietenul tau in vederea solutionarii situatiei intampinate!

Bought an apple watch described “as…

Bought an apple watch described “as new” on their website, even paid extra for the mint condition. Come to find out the battery health is at 87%, charging is frequently interrupted because of battery temperature and fully charges somewhere in the 4-5 hrs time, far off from the base performance of a device described “as new”. Also prices are a premium for a SH store, although they offer 3yr warranty, I have my doubts about their warranty services.

A rep from the store called me and sent out a new watch free of charge. Everything is up to par. Big up for them correcting their mistake. I really appreciated their attitude towards solving the issue.

Scamming company - avoid

Scamming company. Had a campaign with eMag, another online shop, and they made a buy-back promotion where Flip would buy your old phone and eMag offers an extra 500 RON. I sent Flip using this promotion a phone in good condition and they said that the display has to be changed so they offer no more money. I really dont recommend them, if you check all the reviews online, everybody is saying that they are scammers. People who buy and people who sell, everybody has complains.

A scam, used to be decent

This company just tries to scam you and gaslight you into selling your phone 80% cheaper on b*llshit reasons.
I was convinced by the buyback bonus they have to buy an Iphone 15 pro through emag and sell my 12 pro to flip.ro for an extra 500 lei. Phone is 3 years old, minimum scratches, well kept and got an estimate of 1100 lei + 500 lei bonus.
They got back to me with an offer of 260 lei and the bonus…for the same reason that seems to be very popular at them: “the display has a burn in” and it costs 849 lei to change it…How come everywhere else in the world you can change the 12 Pro display with an original new one for like 300 lei (and officially at Apple Store for like 180$, the same amount that flip charges, and they are not an official Apple autorized service), but for every type of phone with a burn in they charge 849 lei?
I want to mention that I sold to them 2 other Iphones in 2021. They were in a worse condition and they had to change the display but I still got a double or triple offer compared to this one… It is very clear to me that they use this “buyback bonus” to trick you into thinking that this is the true value of your phone, and the fact that other people had the same complaint as me just proves it further.
I am 100% sure that if there wasn’t a buyback bonus they would evaluate my phone at 700 lei, which is still low but not as surprising as 260 lei for an Iphone 12 Pro…
I want to also mention that I already sent them a few emails to make this complaint and asked for a full detailed explanation of every single cost of the changes they claim they would have to make. I asked for full transparency so they can prove the “honest evaluation”, and of course they denied this request because “their costs are internal and can’t be made public”…
Will never recommend this service again, and I will also make an official complaint to ANPC, as I believe they are
practicing a very unethical marketing scheme with the buyback bonus that they have with Emag.

Misleading advertisment, an overall scam

I wish I have read the reviews here before I sent them my iPhone 12 mini hoping that I would get a fair offer on top of a 500 RON bonus voucher from eMag.
They evaluated my iPhone 12 mini at the value of 1 RON, citing various changes and repairs that need to be done to it, including a full change of the back case due to some scratches that I have seen on devices they sell with a stated "good" quality at prices ranging from 1600 to 2000 RON.
Since they opened my phone up, I don't even think I will receive a phone in the same condition as before, given that I would reject their offer.
They are exploiting their customers, knowing that some of them will be forced to accept their embarrassing offers because eMag offers a 500 RON bonus on their Easy BuyBack service.
However, they are in direct violation of the Consumer Protection Act for misleading advertisment.

In cazul in care curierul cu care colaboreaza iti pierde coletul, vor face tot ce le sta in putinta pentru a demonstra ca este vina ta. Fix acest lucru mi s-a intamplat. Dupa ce au anuntat ca coletul a fost incurcat cu un alt produs, le-am oferit poza cu cutia, coletul si toate detaliile pe care mi le-au cerut. Sameday a facut o ancheta in bataie de joc: o cutiuta de la Emag a fost considerata prea mare pentru a contine o tableta si de acolo a pornit impresia ca sunt un escroc.
Flip, avand efectiv la ei o cutie gresita, diferita de cea din poza trimisa de mine si cea vazuta in camera de supraveghere a easyboxului, logica aratand din toate punctele de vedere ca coletul a fost pierdut, s-au descotorosit de problema mea cu totul raspunzandu-mi altfel: ”De asemenea, acestia (Sameday) nu au identificat incidente sau nereguli pe parcursul livrarii, si astfel, consideram faptul ca placa de baza primita in coletul trimis de Dumneavoastra, va apartine.”

Am sunat de mai multe ori la Sameday, a trebuit sa fac drumuri pentru a depune o plangere la ANPC, pana cand un operator si-a dat seama ca este o situatie cu totul absurda si ca cutia avea o dimensiune absolut normala. S-a demarat din nou procesul de cautare a coletului, si pana la urma s-a gasit coletul. Chiar a trebuit sa reiterez detaliile curierului cu care colaborati si ma tin de c*rul vostru 2 luni pentru a rezolva o situatie care este responsabilitatea voastra? Ati esuat cu totul in a ajuta compania de curierat sa aiba toate detaliile pe care eu vi le-am transmis.
POLITICA FLIP: 2.14. Transferul riscurilor. Flip este raspunzator de riscul de deteriorare sau pierdere a Bunului/Produsului/Accesoriilor pe toata perioada in care acesta se afla in posesia sa, precum si pe toata perioada de livrare, transport, manipulare si depozitare, in cazul in care serviciile de transport, manipulare si depozitare sunt efectuate de catre Flip sau au fost contractate de Flip.

Dupa toate aceste intamplari, raspunsul final Flip: ”Ancheta a fost desfasurata de Sameday, nu de noi. Nu este vina noastra, nu v-a acuzat nimeni cu nimic.” Uitati-va din nou la raspunsul primit de la ei din primul paragraf si la ultima propozitie. =)

Vindeti pe OLX ca sa scapati de un stres, va rog!!!!!!

EDIT 29 august (dupa 3 luni de la predare si 1 luna de la review): banii inca nu au trimisi, nici macar acest lucru nu il pot face corect

Multumim pentru timpul acordat discutiei telefonice!

Situatia a fost solutionata, iar plata a fost transmisa catre departamentul financiar pentru procesare si suma va fi vizibila in contul tau in estimativ 1-2 zile lucratoare!

SCAM!

Am trimis telefonul la ei si a ajuns la destinatie dupa 6 zile din constanta la bucuresti. Dupa, a durat mai mult decat s-a preconizat testarea telefonului (aprox. 4 zile) mi-au oferit cu 930 ron mai putin din motive complet false precum camera din spate este defecta avand niste pete translucide vizibile pe un fundal alb. Teapa pentru a reduce pretul cu 850 ron. Alti 80 ron au fost dedusi datorita unor urme usoare de folosire... ceea ce eu bifasem deja ca ar exista.

Waste of time!

A week after I sent the phone for checking and final offer, as well as after daily conversation with Flip.ro, I've received an offer of 1 RON for a NOTE 10, phone that was shipped without any technical problems. The main reson for this offer was that my phone's display shows the burn-in effect at the bottom side and it needs replacement.
The initial offer was 850RON, but after checking, the final offer was changed to 1 RON and, the rest of the value, 849 RON, had to be used for display replacement.
At the same time, the phone was returned with the back cover removed, probably because the phone was opened inside.
I tend to believe that they are simply looking for reasons just to reject certain phones because they are no longer of interest in the market.

Ne pare foarte rău să aflam că nu ai avut o experiență pozitivă cu Flip și că nu recomanzi serviciile noastre!

În unele situații, dispozitivele pot prezenta anumite defectiuni care nu sunt atât de vizibile pentru unii utilizatori, dar pentru alți utilizatori aceste defecte pot fi deranjante în momentul utilizării, fapt pentru care acestea necesita reconditionare, iar acest lucru poate duce la micsorarea ofertei.

In aceasta situatie s-a oferit suma de 1 RON peste voucherul acordat, deoarece costul reconditionarii telefonului depaseste oferta in sine si daca nu ai fi beneficiat de voucher, vanzarea ar fi fost respinsa!
