Scammers

Scammers! Tried to sell an impecable device to them and they lowballed me with an offer of less than 50% of the original estimated offer. They come up with different crazy reasons why your phone is not good etc. Avoid selling your devices here because you will get less than you can with other more serious vendors. Completely waste of time with these thieves.

Manipulative tactic

When you sell your phone, they say they will pay you in MAXIMUM 10 days. But after you accept their offer…. the word “MAXIMUM” magically disappears and the payment becomes FIXED 10 days.

This is not accidental. It’s a calculated copywriting tactic using the word MAXIMUM to make us believe we might get paid sooner. How low is that?

I bought a "like new" product and…

I bought a "like new" product and received a phone scratched around the cameras and with a battery that can't have a health check because "the battery may not be genuwine".

Update: the product was actually broken - it did not had a SIM signal, it seems that it is a well known issue for Iphone 12 models which was fixed with recalls.. So my "new like" phone was scratched and broken.

Total disappointment!

Total disappointment. Very unprofessional and poor communication.
I expected a smooth and transparent experience, but instead I received slow responses and a lack of professionalism throughout the process. Definitely not recommending it.

Troublesome warranty, but solved the issue in the end

Updated review:

After the second servicing with no results, they proposed a full refund - too bad the phone wasn't functional after all, but they handled the situation eventually.

Original review:

Received an iPhone that restarts 2-3 times per day, sent it twice for warranty repair for nothing to be done (literally, they only “checked” it). So the increased price paid for the warranty is useless, better to buy cheaper directly from other people!

It's also possible that they're deliberately deceiving you.

I ordered an iPhone 14 Pro from Flip.ro, but my experience was very negative. A battery diagnostic app clearly showed that the battery inside the device is more than 3 years old, yet it was presented as having 100% health. For me, this indicates that the information provided about the battery is not accurate.

I repeatedly asked whether the battery had been replaced, but my question was ignored every single time, and I never received a clear answer. They only told me that they “found no issues,” even though the battery performance was clearly weak.

The communication was incomplete. In the end, I had no choice but to request a return and a refund.

Based on my experience, I advise other customers to be very cautious, especially regarding battery health, because in my case the information they provided was not reliable.

Mi-am comandat un iPhone 15 acum 2…

Mi-am comandat un iPhone 15 acum 2 saptamani. Astazi m-am trezit cu el neincarcat si cu imposibilitatea de a-l incarca. Orice incarcator as fi folosit, orice priza, absolut orice varianta nu functiona.
Doar 2 saptamani si deja acest telefon e nefunctionat. Nu recomand. Luati-va telefoane noi pt ca flip e sub orice critica.

Starea produsului lasă de dorit

Puțin cam de prost gust starea vizuală a dispozitivului având în vedere ca am selectat varianta cu cel mai puține defecte și totuși a ajuns cu ceva cam multe defecte deranjatoare.In rest a fost o experiență minunată,client service destul de bună,livrarea relativ rapidă și produs relativ asemănător cu ce susțin pe site-ul acestora.

Deoarece nu poti surprinde zgarieturile mentionate in fotografii, iar dispozitivul nu corespunde asteptarilor tale, ai posibilitatea sa il returnezi in termen de 30 de zile de la receptionarea acestuia.

Auzi Flip.ro de cand va interesează sa cereți oamenilor factura de achiziție a telefonului? Ok, s-a pus si factura la dispozitie, pasul 2: vedeti ca pe factura telefonul este luat in rate, asa si? Care e problema voastra si cu ce va impactează, cu atat mai mult pe client.
Trimit telefonul Iphone 16 black 128gb sigilat la voi si il refuzati.
Va acoperiți doar cu niște clauze de **** , daca refuzați telefonul trimiteti omului telefonul asa cum l-ati primit nu in cutia voastra ponosita fara niciun accesoriu, care instant ii scade valoarea la 0.

In cazul tau, a fost necesara verificarea facturii, moment in care s-a constatat ca dispozitivul a fost achizitionat printr-un abonament cu rate nefinalizate.
Din pacate, nu putem accepta la vanzare telefoanele cumparate la abonament care nu au planul de rate incheiat.

De asemenea, dorim sa clarificam faptul ca pretul oferit pentru telefon nu este influentat sub nicio forma de cutie sau accesorii.
Asa cum ai fost informat, acestea vor fi reciclate la receptie si nu este necesar sa le trimiti.

SCAM

They will never offer you the money from the initial offer. I'm still waiting for my phone back it took three weeks for them to verify it and give me a low price. They offered me 500lei first. Then it went to 100lei after waiting so much. Guess what? I put the same phone on OLX and I have three offers of 400 lei. You are unprofessional, a scam. I lost money and time. Don't bother responding I work in customer support, you can't fool me with a default response that you give to everyone.

I would never use Flip again!

Reply to Flip's reply: There is no respect for the customer when so many words and 0 value. First of all, the fact that I accepted the "offer" does not mean that it was a fair one, I accepted it for the same reason most people choose to sell something... the need for money. Second, why didn't you say anything about the cost of repairing the defect compared to the amount offered for the entire product... because that was a very important detail.
And I really don't think you have any respect or care for customers because this is not the first time you have failed to be fair with an offer and that's exactly why I'm sure I don't want to deal with you anymore.

I sold a brand new phone that was never used. They told me that it had a small defect in the back cover (it had nothing when it left me) and they took more than half of the amount offered, which was small anyway. According to them, the back cover was practically worth more than the entire Samsung phone and much more expensive than the replacement service would have cost anywhere else. I think they either made the defect by mistake and didn't admit it, or it was simply a blatant theft because there was no problem with shipping and I packed it very well!

Iti intelegem nemultumirea legata de pretul oferit si incercam sa imbunatatim experienta clientilor zilnic, insa pretul de achizitie a unui dispozitiv este mai mare comparativ cu unul de vanzare, deoarece acesta include servicii precum garantie, drept de retur, suport online, etc.

Am trimis un telefon in stare perfecta, verificat de catre un tehnician certificat doar sa mi se ofere jumatate din pret din cauza unor probleme la display. Mentionez ca a fost testat si cu ajutorul codului *#0*. Iar pentru echipa flip, degeaba puneti un mesaj copy paste ca reply, nu creste credibilitatea si nici nu ajuta din punct de vedere SEO.

Strong NO from me

I can only agree with the reviews I see here. I strongly recommend to NEVER use the services of Flip.ro. They always provide you with an estimation that later on is changed to less than 25% from the initial esstimation. Their explanation is very brief and doesn't cover the huge difference in price. Scammers I would say is a strong word, but definetly their process is wrong. They will continue to receive 1 star reviews if they keep this process with initial evaluation and then huge drop in price for the second evaluation without really explaining why, at least in terms of price. My estimations went from 180 to 54.

If I could give -1 star instead of 1, I would. Let me start here: they gave me an indicative price for the phone of 300–320 leva. In my opinion, it should be explicitly stated whether this is the minimum someone will get or the maximum. After all, I’m selling an iPhone 12 Pro in excellent condition. Nowhere does it say that they are Romanian and that it takes one week for the phone to reach them. Then I get a message: it will take the “great” “technician” 2 to 3 days. Voila — after 4 hours the “technician” is done with the evaluation and the sale price has been changed for me to check. I log in and can you imagine how much they offer me for a well-kept iPhone 12 Pro that their site lists at 700 leva? 105 leva. 105 leva for a flagship. Totally absurd. And now I’ll be waiting another week for it to come back to me. NEVER USE THEIR SERVICES.

telefon returnat zgariat

Aveam un telefon in stare excelenta, am facut evaluarea pe site, pret ok, desi mai mic decat pe olx, l-am trimis. Dupa cateva zile imi raspund ca are defecte si imi ofera mult mai putin. Zic nu, multumesc, trimiteti-l inapoi. Cand il primesc, surpriza: o mare zgarietura pe spate! Facusem niste poze inainte sa il trimit, le scriu, le arat.... nimic. Zic ei, am verificat tot, am contactat curierii, nu e de la noi, nu avem ce sa-ti facem.

In concluzie, stati departe de acesti tepari neseriosi, iar daca cumva va ganditi sa trimiteti ceva la ei, filmati absolut totul in cel mai mic detaliu, produsul, ambalarea, predarea catre curier, iar daca cereti retur, desfaceti pachetul in fata curierului in timp ce filmati toata scena. Absolut ridicol ca trebuie recurs la asa ceva, dar doar asa ai putea avea castig de cauza cu astfel de escroci.

Am trimis catre Flip.ro un iPhone 14…

Am trimis catre Flip.ro un iPhone 14 Pro Max Gold 128 GB pentru vanzare. Pe site, dupa ce am selectat corect starea ca “urme usoare de folosire”, am primit oferta de 2700 lei cu plata in 20 de zile (am atasat si captura de ecran). Dupa evaluarea fizica, mi-au scazut oferta la 2500 lei, desi in aplicatie, la aceeasi selectie, pretul ramane 2700 lei. Deci evaluarea lor nu a fost corecta si este in contradictie cu propria platforma.

Am acceptat doar pentru ca eram plecat in concediu si nu aveam cum sa recuperez coletul, dar experienta a fost dezamagitoare. Credeam ca recenziile negative sunt exagerate, insa s-au confirmat.

Nu recomand Flip.ro pentru vanzarea telefoanelor si nu voi mai apela la ei.

Ne pare rau sa aflam ca experienta ta nu a fost una de 5 stele!

In urma verificarilor efectuate, dispozitivul evaluat pe site-ul nostru a fost incadrat initial la conditia estetica "perfect", pe baza mediei rezultate din optiunile selectate.
La evaluarea realizata de tehnicienii nostri, dispozitivul a fost incadrat la conditia estetica "urme usoare de folosire".

Astfel, suma estimativa de 2700 RON, acordata in evaluarea initiala pentru conditia estetica "perfect", a fost ajustata la 2490 RON, intrucat dispozitivul se afla intr-o conditie estetica inferioara.

Consideram ca prin alegerea de a continua procesul de vanzare esti in asentimentul nostru si te aliniezi valorilor noastre fundamentale si misiunii de a oferi cumparatorilor nostri telefoane perfect reconditionate!

Pentru Flip, FLIP nu înseamnă re-vânzare convenabilă, ci arta de a întoarce fiecare situație contractuală în favoarea lor.

Pe vremuri, eMAG era steaua comerțului online din România. Intrai pe site și aveai impresia că intri într-un mall digital: ordine, claritate, respect pentru client. Era aproape o poveste de succes locală. Apoi a venit „marea salvare” – fondul de investiții străin. Și, ca orice fond de investiții care se respectă, prima grijă a fost să „optimizeze”. Traducere: să transforme o afacere strălucită într-o platformă generică de tip marketplace, unde se vinde tot, de la telefoane până la aspiratoare second-hand cu praf inclus. Cu alte cuvinte, dintr-un brand premium am ajuns la un… talcioc digital.
Și exact când credeam că mai rău nu se poate, apare Flip, fratele mai mic al eMAG-ului. Promite revoluția în vânzarea telefoanelor second-hand: „siguranță, transparență, încredere”. Sună minunat, nu? Păcat că realitatea seamănă mai degrabă cu o parodie.
Tehnicienii lor, acei „specialiști” care par să fi absolvit facultatea de găsit defecte inexistente, reușesc să transforme telefoane impecabile, cu folia originală de la producător pe ecran, în „cazuri problematice” care brusc nu mai pot fi vândute. Evident, prețul scade, tu ești pus la colț, și ți se oferă „șansa” să accepți oferta finală sau să primești telefonul înapoi, eventual cu surprize. Negocierea? Se face exclusiv pe contul de client, într-o zonă opacă, unde tu nu ai cum să demonstrezi nimic ulterior. Transparent, nu glumă!
Și uite așa, dintr-un simplu proces de vânzare a unui telefon nou, s-a ajuns la: telefoane „în teste” zile întregi, solicitări absurde de „facturi necenzurate”, explicații trase de păr și interpretări juridice de parcă Flip ar fi devenit organ de cercetare penală. Cireașa de pe tort? Faptul că, între timp, T&C au fost schimbate, dar păstrând aceeași dată de emitere. Magie pură: Houdini ar fi invidios!
Așa că, dacă mă uit la traseul eMAG – Flip – cazul meu, concluzia e simplă: ce a început ca o poveste de succes românească s-a transformat într-o comedie neagră despre cum să-ți pierzi încrederea în platformele „de încredere”. Și, ironic sau nu, singurul lucru care chiar a fost transparent până la capăt a fost… lipsa de transparență.

PS:
„Regulile jocului" nu se schimbă în timpul meciului. Identificarea mea se va face mai ușor după ce voi primi soluția oficială de la ANPC și ANSPDCP. Atunci voi reveni cu o completare publică aici, pe Trustpilot, dar și pe Facebook, Instagram și TikTok. Situația generată de Flip, prin lipsa de corectitudine, merită cunoscută și dezbătută. În plus, voi propune includerea unor reguli clare în legislația privind protecția consumatorului și GDPR, pentru a preveni astfel de abuzuri. iBuyBack, dar corect, nu în defavoarea clientului.”

Ne pare rau sa aflam ca experienta ta cu Flip nu a fost pe masura asteptarilor!

Dispozitivul trimis in service este verificat si testat atent de catre tehnicienii nostri, iar daca sunt identificate deficiente, acestea iti sunt comunicate si iti facem o oferta actualizata. In cazul in care alegi sa nu accepti oferta, iti returnam telefonul exact in aceeasi stare in care l-ai trimis.

In situatia in care consideri ca oferta nu reflecta corect starea dispozitivului, ne poti contacta oricand prin chat sau e-mail, pentru a clarifica rapid situatia.

Deoarece nu te putem identifica in baza numelui, te invitam sa ne scrii la adresa de email contact@flip.ro si te vom asista cu drag pentru clarificarea situatiei intampinate.

The phone had shadows under the display

I both an iPhone 15 pro with 800euro in "very good" state, it had some small scratches but wasn t that bad. At a closer look the screen had some shadows under the display, in the top side and on the bottom. I just send it back, didn't event set it up, now I have to wait 14 days to get my money back so I can buy miself a phone.

Returned: I received my money back the 2nd day after the device arrived to them. The refound was quick but I really wanted that phone.
