My only mistake is I ordered solar powered floodlight camera and I received a mains floodlight camera there was no paperwork inside no invoice nothing just the wrong item staring at me with a pathetic smile
My advice to all is pay a bit extras to a reputable vendor and get peace of mind

Please investigate this provider. I ordered a hairdryer on line, and I got a email a day later saying that I have been added to their VIP membership which I never requested. I have seen my bank account and they have taken a further £13.69 in addition to the hair dyer I purchased. I have never asked or included myself into any VIP membership. I have emailed their customer support and they have confirmed that they have removed me from their VIP membership, they promised to refund this amount to me on the 29 Sept and I am still awaiting the refund having emailed them 7 times already. I had to chase up the delivery of the hair dryer which came much later than promised. I will not buy from them again.

Scam artists
Purchased a Halloween wolf mask. Received a wolf mask that looked nothing like advertised on their website. A cheap piece of garbage that I was charged £29.99 for. Also took out another £4.50 without my authorisation. They claim they will respond in 24hrs to any message. Still waiting for a response 7 days after sending message. Either they are incompetent or deceitful or both. Avoid Flash Discount at all costs.
28/10/25, Quick update, emailed Flash Discount for a third time on 24/10/25 requesting return and refund of purchase that was falsely advertised and refund of £4.50 that they claim is a warranty but I didn’t authorise. This is now three emails unanswered despite claims they will reply within 24hrs.
06/11/25, Further update, no answer when I call (2 times) and no reply to any emails (6 sent) so much for replying within 24hrs. I have now filled a complaint to my bank.

Don’t recommend buying anything from this company I bought a bathroom suction grab handle which is useless the suction rapidly disappears. What’s more another £11 was taken from my account. Tried phoning and no calls being taken at the moment!

Yet ANOTHER case of secondary charges and un-replied query emails
Sadly, and somewhat chastened, I have to add my name to the LONG list of people on here complaining about un-ordered and mystery secondary transactions (totalling £17.84 in my case) appearing on their credit cards. Money effectively stolen.
Worse, all 3 of my emails, so far, querying these charges have gone unanswered, despite prods to do so.
Their claims on the website that "we will answer all your questions within 24 hours from Monday to Friday" are simply a barefaced falsehood.
Have been stupid enough to make 2 purchases now, and had 4 credit card charges in total. I'd assumed that the first one was simply a small mistake, easily rectified. Naïve fool.
The actual product from the first order has been delivered, although it took a couple of weeks or so to arrive. The product itself (a Professional Nutcracker) is excellent - probably the best nutcracker I've ever used. Let's hope it lasts.
Am still waiting for delivery of the second order, and have no reason to suppose that it won't arrive. They say it has shipped. We'll see.
Just a shame that the back office admin and response (or lack thereof) is so appalling. In truth, I think the word "appalling" is far too generous. It suggests mere incompetence.
Sadly (again), it's hard not to suspect that the truth is far worse than that. The sheer number of people on the end of these secondary charges - unannounced on the website or shopping process, and still invisible when checking the transactions afterwards (except on your credit card, where they are unexplained), and worse, unacknowledged or replied to - suggests that the whole thing is downright deceptive. A clear intention to deceive and defraud. A scam.
I wouldn't touch this lot again with someone else's bargepole, never mind my own.

Within ½ hour of posting this review I received a response from Flash Discount, blaming the additional charge on an additional one-year warranty I had supposedly ordered. I hadn't ordered it, and indeed it doesn't appear anywhere as an option that I can see during the buying process. I've just checked again.
Nor does it appear anywhere on any post-purchase paperwork - invoice, order confirmation, etc - received. Only the extra undefined charge on the credit card.
It remains a mystery why their process seems to need a complaint on Trust Pilot before they will respond to any complaint emails. One would have thought that it would make more sense to deal with them privately before customers get to the point of making a public complaint. Talk about shooting yourself in the foot.
For all that, they did agree to cancel this element and have advised that the returned money should appear on my statement in a few days. We'll see.

Refunds landed in my credit card account.
They have done what they said they would.
But none of this should have happened in the first place. A great deal of entirely unnecessary and time/effort-consuming post-sale aggravation.
Second order hasn't arrived yet though.

Still no sign of the second order's delivery. No reply to email enquiry about it either. It's now 2 days short of 4 weeks after placing the order.

2nd order arrived. Flash Discount had agreed to re-send another shipment, and it looks as though it was this one which was delivered today. The first shipment on this order appears to have been lost by the Royal Mail.

It was very easy to browse the Website…
It was very easy to browse the Website and read about the product in detail prior to placing the order. The confirmation of the order was emailed and full explanation as to what will happen prior to despatch. Very quickly after receiving the order confirmation, l received tracking facility with an expectant eta .
If you ask me to be picky and l understand that this may have been down to my own device or me, but when l actually went through the final stage of completing the order, it was not obvious that the transaction had been successful, until l saw tge email of confirmation.
Please be advised that that could put people of, but not me as l know how it works and will definitely be buying again.

I made a purchase from this company on the 8/7/25 and I only wanted to make that purchase. However I got an email saying I had joined their VIP club and I got onto the Support Team straight away to query this when I had an impending payment being taken from my bank. They got back and assured me that it had been cancelled and I would get refunded. I had to chase this up as further money was being taken, and is still continuing to be taken each month since. After numerous emails being sent to the Flash Support Team requesting it to be sorted out, I have been completely ignored! WHY???
