I honestly love everything about First Connect! Overall, the platform has been a great resource for my agency and makes doing business much easier.

The rater is great and very user-friendly. I really like being able to quickly compare options without having to go into multiple carrier websites individually. The commission information is also easy to find and understand, which I really appreciate. Having carrier information, resources, and market access all in one place saves a lot of time.

One improvement I would love to see in the future is the ability to give CSRs and assistants their own access with different permission levels. For example, staff members who handle renewals, certificates of insurance, policy documents, or other servicing tasks could have access to what they need without necessarily having full agent or administrative access. I think that would make First Connect even more valuable for agencies with multiple team members and would help streamline day-to-day servicing.

I would also LOVE to see First Connect gain access to Foremost's Agent360 program so we could write their standard auto and home products. Having access to more standard personal-lines markets, especially auto and homeowners, would be a huge benefit and would allow us to keep even more of our clients' business within First Connect.

I would also love to continue seeing additional California markets added, particularly for homeowners, manufactured homes, rental properties, commercial auto, workers' compensation, and some of the more difficult-to-place risks we see every day.

Overall, I have been extremely happy with First Connect. It's easy to navigate, the market access is great, commissions are competitive and transparent, and the platform continues to make it easier for independent agents to compete and offer our clients more options. I definitely recommend First Connect and look forward to seeing the platform continue to grow! Also, a BIG shout out to Audra Carrion, she has a fast response and always has an easy solution or answer. She has been my # 1 contact and I appreciate her so much!

I’ve had a great experience with First Connect so far. It has given our agency access to carriers that we previously weren’t able to write with, while also introducing us to markets and carriers I didn’t even know existed.

Having access to these additional options has helped us place more business, better serve our customers, and grow our book of business.

First Connect allows our boutique family insurance agency access to many insurance companies we would never qualify to do business with because of our size. But now we have written policies with over 25 insurance companies that we have access to through First Connect and are reaping the benefit of commissions that we never would have been able to receive in the past! From an Agent point of view the Quote Connector Rater is an amazing time saver and game changer for our daily quote output!
