All in all, we've always been pleased with First Student. However, there are many times we've been dropped off at our field trip location and the bus leaves. We've been told before by drivers that they had another run to make. I feel, since we get charged to those hours that the bus isn't with us, that the bus should stay at our location. If we had an emergency and needed to leave early, sometimes the bus isn't there. If the bus can't stay, then I don't feel we should be paying for it--especially if it left to go make another trip!! Also, there were a couple times this summer when the driver had no clue where they were going. Fortunately, our Director did. I feel the driver should know where they are going.

We were promised a bus with a wheelchair lift with 4 spots for tie-downs. When I called to confirm an hour prior to arrival they stated they didn't have any wheelchair lift buses. Thankfully they somehow found one but the bus only had 1 spot for a wheelchair. Left us scrambling for our field trip. We were supposed to have the same thing the next day, but our trip was just canceled without even trying to come up with another solution. Terrible way to treat customers. We have no other choice but to use First Student and we use you every summer. Every summer we have issues. I hope that you all are able to fix your system before next summer.

I ordered two air condition buses and only received 1. I also requested a bus driver that we have had for 3-4 years and she was not set up to take the trip on June 15, 2021.

On June 16 I received only one air bus and 3 buses.

Amazing! Our driver was awesome! The bus was clean and it had air conditioning, which was a nice, unexpected surprise!

The rental process was smooth with Angela. When our driver showed up (early by the way) I realized I had him last year on a previous rental. As before Dwayne was the best driver you could ask for!! Dwayne is not only nice, polite, patient, good driver but also a good protector and kept our group safe!! We had an experience where some unpleasant people were following us and Dwayne knew exactly what to do and drove us by the police station. Dwayne protected our group that night and can't thank him enough!!! He deserves a medal so please make sure you put this in his file and commend him on the job he did!!!!
