Same as other reviewers, we purchased when new ScotGov regulations came into effect. Complete scam, by end of 2025 every single alarm had given up the ghost. Do not buy from this company.

I ordered a standard bundle and also a full bundle. I installed the full bundle in my own house. This was easy to install and the instructions were easy to follow. As to the standard bundle, I ordered this to install in my mothers house. As per instructions, I tried to pair them and test they were working. I could not get them to pair. On returning home, I tried to use my own remote and it worked. I emailed Fireguardplus about the faulty remote and a replacement was dispatched that same day. I installed it in my mothers home yesterday and it worked perfectly. 1st class customer service and a great product. I think that an improvement on the remote could be beneficiary for blind/partially blind people, where a braille nodule could be put on the test button.

I have had a similar experience to an earlier review. I was told my parcel would be delivered 12/11/2021. When I track it, it is still at the depot and is stated to be delayed. I cannot use the ‘let me fix this’ button as my order number and email apparently don’t match. This seems to be a problem with the courrier parcel2go. I have contacted fire guard plus and initially received a quick response but have not had a response since.
Edit: I have now had a response from Lauren at fire guard plus who have informed they will resend the items special delivery. Appreciate the quick response and solution.

Excellent product and service.
Ordered Standard package on Friday, delivered on Tuesday, and installed on Wednesday. Easy to install just follow the instructions. Really pleased with this product, speed of delivery and cost. A lot cheaper than getting an electrician to install. Would certainly recommend product.

Prompt delivery. The alarms look neat, modern, come with clear instructions, and are easy to install and set up. One query I had was dealt with almost instantaneously by email. I recommend these products especially if you need to comply with the new Scottish regulations coming soon.
Excellent product
Ordered the middle pack to meet the Scottish Government requirements that are being introduced in February. Great service from the company. Very well packaged with a leaflet giving clear instructions. The alarms are easy to link and attach to the wall with adhesive circles, plus there are also screws provided to attach to the ceiling. I would highly recommend this product.

Excellent company and excellent product
The alarms are easy to set up and pair wirelessly . They look good, but are unobtrusive at the same time.
It’s probably better to use the screws and ceiling plugs to secure them as the sticky ring didn’t work on our kitchen ceiling , with the result that the alarm fell and broke irretrievably .
However , the company ( thanks Peter) replied to my email the same day and dispatched a replacement heat alarm . Simply superb customer care.
I can recommend this company and their products to anyone thinking of upgrading their smoke and heat alarms.
Fireguard's instructions made it simple to start and synchronise the alarms. The adhesive ring is much simpler than drilling holes and may not be a benefit if your ceilings are not smooth.

Clear Instructions, easy to synchronise and fit.
We thought that the instructions for setting up and synchronising the alarms were clear. The most difficult bit was re-attaching the alarm to the base plate. Initially I was applying too much pressure and switching them off. We are very pleased with the appearance of the alarms as they're very unobtrusive, plus the ease of setting them up as we had been questioning whether we'd manage to do it.

Super easy to set up product
Super product - so easy to set up and install we bought another set for my mums house. A small issue with heat alarm not syncing was immediately addressed with a replacement in 2 days no quibbles. Now that’s what I call customer service.
Be careful using sticky bits to fit to ceiling.
All went fine and items seemed fine to instal. That was until about 3 hours after the units were stuck to the ceiling. Both the alarms then fell off. One has broken and no longer works. Really need to warn customers not to use the sticky bits to attach to ceiling. Only proper way is to fit them using the screws.

Ordered set for a friend, problem with 1 smoke alarm and heat sensor. Contacted Fireguardplus and within 2 days replacements arrived. Thanks Peter for excellent customer service.
Standard bundle pack
Opted for wireless connections and was dreading having to set them up. But to my surprise and delight the synchronisation of the bundle was very easy as was the fixing of the units to various surfaces due to the option of using screws or the adhesive tape supplied. Big bonus is having a remote control to test them, no more using broom handles. Unfortunately when they were delivered one unit would not turn on so e-mailed them on a Saturday evening had replacement unit delivered on the Tuesday all I had to do was send them a picture of the backplate, so they could get the information they needed
Bad Start…dealt with very well.
Ordered a starter bundle (£139.98) on 29/10/21. Got confirmation email so thought great. delivery was to be 05/11/21. The email said I would receive a delivery confirmation, which I did on 1/11/21, from Parcel2Go (Hermes). The delivery was confirmed as 05/11/21, and provided tracking. On 05/11/21 the parcel did not arrive. The original email from Fireguard plus had no way of contacting them, no phone number, nothing. The tracking just kept telling me that the parcel was at the Depot, and not delivered on 05/11/2021 due to ‘a major event’. What does that even mean? I tried to enquire via a link on the Parcel2Go email around 6 times in all, as the items were STILL at the Depot (and still are, apparently), but when I clicked on the link that said ‘Let’s Fix This’ and entered my order number and my email address it said that my email address was the wrong email address for that order. It is not the wrong email address. I then went to the Fireguardplus website (I knew there was a website as I had checked all this out before I bought the alarms), finally found an email address, sent an enquiry/complaint and the email was returned to me a day later as undeliverable! Raging as the website worryingly says this is the only way to contact them, there is no phone number. I see their address is Glasgow and it would be very easy for my husband to go pay them a visit and get my money back as we don’t live far from their office.
Update: I had a pleasant call from Grant, very accommodating and apologetic. My purchase was posted via Royal Mail Next Day delivery (at no extra cost to me) that very day and it did arrive the next day. Very much appreciated. I do think the problems are mainly caused by the courier (Hermes) and I think things would go so much smoother if this company changed that. Also I think a phone number should be made accessible on the website alongside the other details. All in all, the follow up customer service was actually very good and definitely changed my opinion about the company. The alarms themselves look good, feel like high quality. We haven’t put them up yet, that’s tomorrow’s job, but first impressions are good.

Great product and service.
I ordered 4 off the Standard Bundle on Friday 5th Nov for myself and friends and was prepared for a delay in availability and shipment because of the recent reviews I had read. Most people were positive about the cost and quality, so delivery delay didn’t concern me too much. I received an email on Sunday 7th advising that estimated shipment would be Monday, with delivery by Fri 12th. Quite happy with this, but further updates from courier brought forward the estimated delivery and I actually received the packages today the 9th Nov. I don’t normally do reviews but had to comment on the great service I received. Husband fitted up my Bundle same afternoon it arrived. So easy, clear instructions, quality product at great price. Excellent alarms
I bought the Standard Bundle which had the exact amount of alarms I needed.
I then noticed some people mention there was no address or phone number for the company and, have to admit, I was worried it was a scam.
I needn't have worried. The alarms arrived within a week.
Following the enclosed instructions the alarms were simple to activate and to interlink.
I'm 72 and found it all easy to do.
I pressed the remote to test them and they all sounded together with a flashing red light.
Well worth the money.
I do think, though, the company should add their phone number to their website to save people doubting them.

Order delivered on time, easy to install, would certainly recommend, meets all current safety requirements re new government regulations.
